Soliael smiled at her, a genuine smile, not a smirk. She had not been the only one that told him they had been fond of Moridin. His father had been a selfish monster but apparently he had a characteristic about him that made people love him. He found that to be odd about his father, that there was something endearing about him that people liked. For a sparse few moments the regret of not meeting Moridin welled up inside him quite a bit, though the thought was quickly suppressed.
“Knowledge. For two centuries it is all I have craved. I care not for power, or for the affairs of others. All I want is to know...everything.” It was the first time Soliael had ever said that to anyone, but it was so true. It was what drove him, it was what he wanted the most. He wanted knowledge beyond everything else. He craved it above all.
The Sith smirked again. Over the centuries he had already gathered a ridiculous amount of knowledge, half of it he could not use, but it was good to have anyway. Slowly he pulled her again him again, his words whispering almost seductively “What is it you inherited from him? What did he teach you?”
