Idle Hands

She gave a nod of her head to that, a mask for something armored underwater. That could be done easily and a saber hilt. Reinforcing a droid body with this might not be as practical at first but later when it was strong it would become better. "That can be done." Her focus was coming now as she sliced out some sections of the slab donning gloves and a visor. The white hot glass falling to the metal bench as she adjusted the torch. Getting tongs and tools to hold it in place. The first thing she did was flatten it, make a piece she could wrap around and form. Her mind working on other plans while tendrils of energy snaked and wormed its way into the material staining the glass like with red and black webs in the form of waves. Balaya brought her head up. "YOur going to need something to bind it to you, blood or flesh apprentice."

I watched with amazement as the crystal flowed into [member="Darth Praelior"]'s hands. It slowly began to take on the form of a human skull. I could recognize jawbones, eye sockets, and a funny kind of scaly extension from the back of the head, falling to cover where the neck would be.

"That's amazing."

Darth Banshee took the glass once it had cooled, it was perfect she be able to use it as glass part of diving mask when she was ready. Though she need to do a lot more yet, before she was ready to go on under water challenges. She then looked at the rest of the glass, with a look of being quite impressed. She then asked So what do you plan to do with the rest of it? She was genuinely curious, as the was fair bit left. She did think though, it was shame they could not harvest on regular basis. It would be good for some ship components. As well as few other things. like armour and some weapons.

Now I watched as another part of the mined crystal flowed into the shapes of the rings and hollow tubes required to build the outer hilt of a lightsaber. It was flowing into a much longer sort of hilt than I had ever seen on any modern lightsaber. It reminded me of my studies of the ancient Darths Chratis and Nihl. A long spike formed on what I assumed would be the pommel. It was beautiful. It would be the greatest blade to be forged in living memory... I would carve a path of destruction and....

TAKE OVER THE UNIVERSE! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

No, seriously. It looked cool, and I was going to become a total badass to be worthy of it. I gaped at it like a man would normally gape at [member="Darth Praelior"]'s breasts. It was just awesome.

"It's.... Beautiful, Master."

Balaya heard them but continued to remain lost in thought as the white hot material formed the cylinder of the saber hilt. Long handled and with some work as the crystal spun slowly keeping the heat some small grooves were made. Bubbles of glass and crystal applied and melted into it while she moved along the shaft to the bottom and made the twist for the handle Darth Nihl style so it would be a ring at the end you could put an arm through. as the darkside energies poured through it to stain it with the red and black Balaya pulled away and let it cool.

She continued to take other parts from the slab and work them into segments while they were hollowed out just a bit. Enough she could put the proper componants within to let Kiln mov his hand. Each section of his hand crafted with her energy and as it cooled down they were worked into the desh alloy joints, given the cybernetics to bend and close so her could grip objects. The desh being bloodied and her power pouring into it while she worked on the palm of the hand. Shaping it and giving it the small grooves until it cooled and looked like a solid chunk. Affixing the desh while it all came together.

The final piece she was looking at was the helmet for darth Banshee and making the plate as she spoke pointing. "Get me some plexisteel from the containers." Balaya waited while working and when it arrived from Elara she was taking a moment as the glass cooled. Shaped how she wanted it and tinged red around the edges where she had bled into it. Pooling her power and will until she was shaping the light plexisteel to fit it and make a helmet. Something solid and that would be sealed with the right suit. "Your aquatic suit will be a marvel but it won't protect you from the pressure if you go down to far and the other supplies like oxygen will need to be addressed."

I was amazed at the shape and size of the lightsaber hilt. I gripped it with the Force and twisted the ring into a long spike at the rear end of the hilt. I waved it through the air so it would cool faster. It was a cool, semi-transparent silver.

These first two shapings astounded me, but the forging of the prosthetic hand was truly amazing. There were claws at the end of the hand, and the exterior of the hand had a pearly sheen. It flowed around and solidified into a scaly-looking shell. It was awesome.
