If We Don't Rise, We Fall (Felicity)

Coryth nodded slowly. "It's a good plan." The more people along this journey the safer it would be for all of them. A small smile did come as Felicity started to say space wizard. It was a true statement if ever there was one. None the less, Coryth didn't comment upon that part of the young girl's words.

Her gaze drifted to Owain as they approached. Respectfully she inclined her head slightly, in a small bow to him. "Yes, I am but please ... Call me Coryth."

She nodded after Felicity's words. "Yes, I was given reports that state there is a portal on Alderaan and Dathomir. However, I have little details beyond it's location and knowing there are others on the other side. Presumably those who were pulled away from this reality for they are not dead. That much I do know."

And the Master Empath did sense a bond between the two. That much didn't slip past her. "You don't have to avoid him, on my part Felicity. Even I've held my own relationships. So, don't fret on that." The worry from Felicity radiated deep into the redhead.

With a heavy sigh she shifted her weight further onto the cane, trying to get the weight off her leg that was still very much healing after surgery from her injuries on Sullust. "I hate to be the one to interrupt all of this, but could we move to the ship quickly, so I may sit down and rest?" She asked as the pain grew in her weary body.

Owain

Lord High Grand Commander Esq.
She took his hand. He fought the faint blush he knew would be trying to form on his face and smiled gratefully at the Princess as she dragged him towards the ship her father had owned. Did own. "Uh...as you wish Coryth," he mumbled as an afterthought, remembering the other person with them. Then she continued to speak, and the boy blinked. "Portals? What did you space wizards do this time?" he couldn't help but ask. BUt it was a fiar question - Jedi and SIth tended to be at the heart of many of the galaxy's problems.

Her follow up put that out of his mind. He felt his cheeks heat up as the woman blatantly pointed out what he and Felicity had been careful to hide. Well...careful enough to not tip off her parents at least. "Uhm..." he managed ot get out before the Jedi smoothly moved on. He frowned and nodded. "Oh, right. Felicity, your dad got a first aid kit on his ship?" he asked, noting how the woman seemed to be limping. Best have their help in good health otherwise she'd be a liability.

The girl stumbled and while Owain took the lead, making a suggestion to push past the awkward reveal, Felicity remained silent, stunned. She really was terrible at this. Why did she have to hide it anyway? She wished she didn't, but the fact is, anybody could tell mom or dad about it. And when that happened, she and Owain would be finished. Mom would never let her see him.

"First aid? Oh. Err, yeah, it's back there," she managed finally, shaking her blonde head until her blush disappeared, "White box."

She turned her attention back to Master Elaris for the moment, biting her lip.

"Please don't tell mom..." the girl mumbled as they all walked up the ramp onto the ship, "About him and I, I mean. She can't know."

"Yeah, no freaking clue but I had no role in whatever the hell happened. No doubt some Sith is at the core of it." They always were in her book.

"First aid may not do much good, other than help ease the pain. For the most part I just need rest. Had an accident when I went to check on Sullust. Well as much as being shot out of the sky can be considered an accident. Had surgery on my leg afterwards, still healing." She said quietly.

A nod followed, "Of course not. I understand."

Blushing furiously still, the girl sat quietly in the pilots seat, first checking the fuel, then inputting the proper coordinates, checking for any irregularities in the weather before takeoff, and just generally being a careful pilot. More so than most in the Galaxy, it seemed. Honestly, where did they get their license to fly?

"Buckle up," she called after everything checked out, "I don't leave ground until you're all buckled in."

Owain shrugged. "As you wish Master Elaris," he replied, making his way through the ship. "Feel free to take a seat until we're airborne. After that...well if you need rest, you'll have to check if there's anything to help with that with Felicity," the boy pointed out, moving into the cockpit and dropping himself in the comms seat, fastening his safety straps. He'd heard from his uncle how bad Keter Mason's landings were, and the numerous safety features he had introduced on his ship to compensate.

Seems like even he couldn't be good at everything.

One all aboard had buckled up and were secure on the ship, she carefully guided it out of the hangar and into the sky. Her Father ship tore through the atmosphere into the black of space. It would take some time before she could make the jump, but better to be safe, in her opinion. She was silent as death for a long time, then she spoke up very suddenly.

"I spoke to my brother while we were on Naboo."
She didn't know who she was telling. Owain, Coryth. Herself? It didn't really matter.
"He said he's going to try to hold things down on Naboo until I get mom back. Truth is, I'm not sure I trust him anymore. He's... different. Oh, and he absolutely hates you, Owain. Just so you know."

She gave the boy sitting next to her a playful smile that she knew he wouldn't buy. She was faking it now. He could always see through her.

"The Protectorate will be keeping an eye on Naboo too, right, Master Elaris?"

(ooc: Sorry for taking so long guys.)

"Thank you." Coryth said softly as she took her seat, happy to be off her feet. Her leg, aching badly, and at least with the weight off she could relax a little bit.

She listened patiently as Felicity spoke, and nodded as she asked her question. "Yes, they will. I've made sure of that much. Naboo will be in good hands, trust me dear. Don't even worry about that right now. We just need to find your mother and get her back."

He rolled his eyes and shrugged. "What else are brothers for? His whole purpose is to disapprove of stuff you like," he teased, leaning back in the chair and settling in for a long journey. "Don't forget her father," Owain reminded Master Elaris with a nod. The blond man was his employer after all.

Felicity had not forgotten about daddy. Mother was important for Naboo, but daddy was important for her. Her father was her hero. She trusted him more than anyone. If she didn't have him, who knew where she would be?

"Master Elaris, why don't you go rest? I can wake you when we arrive on Dathomir."

[member="Owain"] [member="Coryth Elaris"]

"Of course, my apologies." The redhead said softly.

A nod came, "That would be a good idea. I think I'll do that. Felicity, would you mind showing me the way?" Coryth wasn't exactly familiar with this ship, and frankly sleep sounded like a brilliant idea. Slowly, carefully the tiny woman rose to her feet and waited patiently.

The girl had set her course for the nearest hyperspace route. Not terribly far, but not terribly close. They would have time. She set the ship to autopilot, stood up and reached out to help the injured Jedi master.

"Come, this way," she said, leading her back, "You can lay down back here."

There was a bed at the back, in a room that had served as something like a bedroom for her father for a good few years of his life. This ship had been his home. There were memories here that the girl could not even begin to understand.

"Owain," she called back "keep your eyes open for me. I won't be but a moment."

[member="Coryth Elaris"] [member="Owain"]

"Thank you." Coryth said quietly as she limped along beside Felicity. With a sigh she carefully laid on the bed and propped her leg up as best she could. "Just wake me if you need me." With that she closed her eyes, letting herself drift into a meditative state to rest as much as she possible could, and hopefully ease a fair amount of her own pain in the mean time.

The girl nodded, turning around to head back.
"And you call if you need anything. Stay off that leg, okay?"
With that, she went back to the cockpit. Something about this event had changed her. She was responsible for so much. She didn't really think of it before, but she felt more grown up than ever before.

"Back," she said stepping back up to the pilots seat, "Going to be a few hours. Maybe less if I really hurry, but I dunno if I really wanna test my luck with this ship..."
