SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
  • Battle Ready: Force imbued, it provides all canon effects. Nigh indestructible, Cuts more easily, destroy dark sided spirits.
  • Sharpest blade: Force Imbued Mullinine edge means the blade is very sharp and can cut through flesh easily. Increasing this with the added heat of the weapon capable, it could cut through some armors given time, and energy used.
  • Heated Combat: Using a Lava crystal within the blade, it doesn't provide a drip of plasma, but more so allows Ignis to control the heat of the blade to a very fine degree. Thus heating a blade up to cut through materials more easily, without the fear of the weapon itself breaking or bending. With so much heat, there is also a chance for ignition of items, gear, or even people. While the theory is that the heat can become hotter than the sun, its never likely to happen as there is no barrier between the blade and the air that it heats up unlike a Lightsaber. Thus, the heat will only be hot enough to be unbearable for those around Ignis.
  • Combustion: Using a Talisman of Calling, Ignis can summon forth the weapon at any desired time for a period of two hours.
Weaknesses:
  • Called to Serve: When in a force nullification bubble, it is sent back into the void. Rather than simply loosing the special abilities of the weapon, Ignis looses the weapon entirely.
  • Short on Time: The weapon can only be used for a span of max, two hours. However, should the weapon be prematurely put away, or forced away via Force nullification, then the weapons charge time of two hours, will stay the same.
  • A little overheated: Having a weapon that can heat up to extreme amounts without any barrier between it, and the air, means there can be a potential area around Ignis that is hot, or just hotter than the air normally would. While this is very minimal and would cause nothing more than sweat to more easily drip from someone, Should Ignis over heat the weapon it can injure others. These others can include allies, as well as items or people that he would otherwise not want to injure.
  • Enclosed: Due to the weapons length being that of just over Ignis' own height, The weapon is not well used within enclosed spaces such as a small hallway.
