As usual, Adekos was wrong. The Rebels did indeed move to bombard their own foundry, though at least they made the effort to minimize casualties. Adekos wasn't going to stick around to count the bodies, but he suspected the few hundred Geonosians working in and around, living in and around, the foundry were going to be in varying degrees of bad shape. That was neglecting to take into account the cost of all the damaged machinery and electronics and the Geonosians who would be out of work because of it.
Fortunately, Adekos was spared that sort of fate. But not entirely.
Though the Gauntlet of Squash the Elder (or whatever it was called; there were more important things to worry about) could protect those who wore it and those who stood near the person wearing it, nothing was perfect. Ionic discharge coursing through the body was not a pleasant thing, and Adekos found himself on both hands and knees, groaning in pain shortly afterward. The HUD of his helmet had blinked off, and the glowing eyes that made up what little "wow" factor he had were gone as well. The entire foundry was plunged into the deepest, blackest darkness. He wasn't alarmed by this- Umbarans could see perfectly well in the dark.
But then Geonosians showed up, and they weren't his. Adekos could sense someone else with them, but he really did not have time to think it over clearly. Someone was coming to clean up shop, and now the droids he had previously commanded were out of the picture. It was time to make their escape. Since the Geonosians weren't equipped with night vision or really that adept at seeing in the dark, most of their shots wildly tore through the facility. Adekos flinched, but was otherwise unharmed. This was just adding more bills the Rebel Alliance were going to owe the poor Geonosians who survived this mess. He crawled to cover, needing to catch his bearings and keep everyone on the same page before bugging out completely.
"Gentlemen, I believe it's time we departed." The Umbaran said, voice strained over the din of sonic weapons and beam rifle fire. "Let's find us a tunnel out of here."
