Welcome, Miss Walsh. We have a number of positions that can be taken, depending on what manner of service and the extent of service you wish to serve.
Freelancers have little obligation to the Protectorate, beyond the occasional work for a paycheck. This gives you the utmost freedom to pursue side goals, but it does mean that you're overall access to the Protectorate's more sensitive information and supplies are likewise limited.
Full military service, of course, carries all the benefits and expectations you would imagine. We expect the best and we give the best for those that serve.
And in between that, if you should want to serve the Protectorate more closely without pledging your life to military service, you can always join us in a civilian capacity. You would eventually gain access to our full data stores on relevant information, while having minimal military clearance.
