The silent woman had been noticed. Not a bad thing exactly and as Darth Rowe was her appointed Master. This was the perfect opportunity for them to begin that training that had been so far lacking in her life. What Lakura did know was based on her lessons from Dathomir. A good deal of time had passed since they last happened and the century-old student wondered if she would even make a proper apprentice.

Coming out of her location, the pink-purple of her eyes gleamed in the light. Not having any weapons on her body, Lakura was a weak link here. Only the claws and teeth of her body could be weapons right now. But that was one of the reasons they were here. To gather useful supplies and items for the newest class of initiates, which she was just one of.

"To be fair, I did know the banner until just a short time ago."

Her voice was calm, but certainly not small. There was a guttural sound and an almost growl to her inflection. It hinted to the animal nature she had part of. Being half-Zorren, her ears were pointed and her canine teeth were a little longer than that of a normal human.

"Do we have an unexpected guest?"

Jorus kept his lightsaber in his hand as he listened to the dark lord try to push him into joining the Jen'ari empire. Jorus cocked an eyebrow as he listened to him, watching this Sith try to be warm and welcoming was slightly comical. However it was incredibly tempting to join them, but there was just one thing bothering him.

"You all seem incredibly power obsessed, I don't care about that, I care about knowledge above all else." Jorus said calmly trying not to piss off the walking nuclear reactor next to him.

Jorus knew that if he denied he wasn't in much of a place to bargain with them, or even disagree with them. He was outnumbered three to one and he would have difficulty handling even one of them, but three? He knew for a fact that he was a dead man.

"But it is incredibly tempting... What would be my role in all of this?" Jorus asked, genuinely curious.

Darth Necrin

'Power obsessed' was not the term Necrin would use for himself and his fellow sith. They wanted Control, true victory. And to get victory, one needed Power. 'Through Power, I gain victory.' This was something they needed to Tech Jorus, if he chose to join. But the part about knowledge was true. Many sith, himself included, cared about knowledge above many Things.

"You would be training under a sith master, who will teach you the ways of the dark side. When you are ready, you will take the sith trails, and if you pass them you will be a sith yourself." It was no reason to tell anything different. Everyone had to start like this, and everyone had to learn that one didn't get anything without hard work. But to peek his interest a bit more, he said: "If not Power or knowledge, what is it you want? If you make it past the trails, you can take what you want."

"If you don't want this, you are free to go," Necrin said, motioning With his arm outwards. "You will not be stopped. But know that you throw away a big chance by doing that. It is not often one gets the support of two members of the Dark Council to join in the ranks of the sith." Off course he would not get to leave if he turned this Down. When he was out of earshot, Necrin would order his Phantom Guard to follow him, and arrange an 'accident'. Nothing serious that would kill him, just something to remind him of the offer he had turned Down.

Jorus stopped and looked off into the distance weighing up his options, he was learning things about the force from the many artifacts he had found however that could only take him so far. Maybe it would be a good idea to get some hands on knowledge about the force. These sith could teach things he didn't know about the ways of the dark side. He also knew for a fact that although the Sith said he could leave anytime he wanted that, that was nonsense. He knew he would be hunted down and exterminated.

"Who would I be learning from? You?" Jorus asked turning to Necrin.

If he was going to learn the ways of the dark side he wanted to learn from someone he respected. Someone who cared about the deep knowledge of the force not some crazy rabid dog who thought the only way to obtain power was by fighting.

"A master would be appointed to you most likely. It was what happened to me."

Walking up and joining the other two, Lakura's glowing eyes took in the form of Jorus and her face appeared to be judging him. Though her tone was small and quiet, there was a touch of weight to it. By human standards, she was very old and should be dead. To her people, she was just a pup and would outlive almost everything around them.

"You want knowledge. With knowledge will come power. Though you might not seek power just to have it, you will gain it."

Her own lessons had barely begun and what knowledge she possessed came from her childhood on Dathomir.

"What do you seek from this knowledge?"

It might not be her place to ask questions in the presence of a Lord and Darth, but this new man had not answered him to begin with.

All the resources?

Not all.

Away from the action, in a remote outpost. Insects stirred beneath the feet of the Revanant. Small and unnoticeable. Deciding what they were. Who they were. If they were to be Expansion or Eradication. Simple choices by the Hive Mind. Many tiny minds deciding the fate of those above in one area. Not a big presence here. Big enough. The focused mind hadn’t even properly been able to establish a Hive here, as was often the way. Trial and error. Lots of dead insect animals beneath the ground, maybe a palm-sized convergence node accounting for a cave beneath them. The forests of this world grew so fast, and the flying animals of this word proved so difficult to pin down. That so far it had been a wrestle with the eco system here to get anywhere at all.

Not that the Hive mind thought that way. There was just biospheres. Expansion. Creatures there as new things to bring into collective consciousness.

On that note. Every so often a revenant trooper would just disappear below the ground. What was dragging them down who knew. Probably best nobody ever find out.

Jorus turned around and saw a woman approaching him, she reminded him slightly of the witches that he had encountered on Dathomir. He shuddered at that thought, he had barely been able to escape their clutches with his life. He listened to what the woman had to say carefully, and he found himself agreeing with her. Up until now he had just been looking around the galaxy studying the force for the sake of it. He had never given it any serious thought as to what he should do with said knowledge. Now that he thought about it, even if he wasn't force sensitive he would have studied the ancient stories and mysteries of the force.

However without a purpose all that knowledge is worth nothing, and maybe he could learn a thing or two about the force from the Sith. He was growing more and more to the idea of joining them. At the end of the day, he would die and be forgotten. He wanted to create a legacy, Jorus wanted to leave his mark on the galaxy, so whenever someone heard the last name Dane they would know exactly who they were talking about. He wanted to be known for his knowledge in the force. He wanted to be feared by those who dared to oppose him.

Jorus looked down at the ground as this train of thought ran through his mind. His hand then raised to his mask, taking it off. The sound of his breathing no longer filtered as he took it off, he then removed his hood so they could see his face. Jorus looked to be in his late 40s, but was in fact more than a decade younger, years of travelling had taken there toll on him. His blonde hair, had streaks of grey in them and his eyes had very large bags under them. He turned to Lakura and Necrin,

"I seek to create a legacy, one inspired by fear of my power and knowledge of the force." Jorus said with finality.

Darth Rowe looked to her apprentice nodding at her words then listened to Darth Necrin then diverted her attention to Jorus. Listen here kiddo, You say your name is Jorus? If you want to create such a powerful legacy, our Empire can show you how to, to teach you, train you. So come join us, be smart, you're either with us or against us young one.

Rowe turned to enter the cave wanting to find these crystals.

It seemed [member="Jorus Dane"] was warming up to the idea of joining the Jen'ari Empire. The Words of [member="Lakura Salim"] had clearly had effect on his desicion. She was to be commended for that later. "Yes, you will be given a master to learn from. I cannot say who. It will have to be dicussed first. But I can assure you that you will learn what you need. And you will be able to create the Legacy you seek. If you are strong enough."

Then the Imperial Hand spoke. She spoke more bluntly and right to the point. When she was done, Necrin stood With Jorus after [member="Darth Rowe"] had left. "What my fellow counciller was trying to say was, you have to make the Choice now. Join us, and you can become able to create a Legacy, become powerfull and knowledgable. Or leave, and struggle With what little you can find on Your own. If you are With us, join me to the Cave." He then began walking towards the Cave, walking slowly and waiting for Jorus to follow.

Objective II
Destroy the Imperial Revanant

1533772848570.PNG

Pyktis stepped back as he dueled with the Sith blocking his attacks. Pyktis keeping up pure defence waiting for his moment to unleash his power. Pyktis grew tired of the Imperial Revanant. Once the Sith stopped attacking and took a moment to try and study Pyktis, Pyktis just tilted his head at the Sith. The Sith then ran at Pyktis. Pyktis leaped up and did a flip over the Sith, spun around and swung his lightsaber up cutting his back dropping the Sith to his knees. Pyktis swung again cutting his head off. Pyktis didn't spare anytime he quickly went back to engaging the Revanant troopers deflecting shots while looking for his next opponent.

Almost seeing Jorus shudder under her gaze, she did nothing about it. While Lakura did have some Dathomiri training, her training with the Jen'Ari had only just begun. Her touch and control of the Force was undiscovered so far, but she had great potential. It was very likely Jorus himself had far more knowledge than she did but she was not going to admit this.

Looking at her Master when she spoke, she nodded only slightly. There was a threat in what Darth Necrin had said and what Rowe had said reinforced it. Here and now Jorus would have to make a decision. If he did NOT join with them, at least for now, it meant a death sentence. He would not leave this planet alive. It actually disturbed her slightly.

A useless waste of life, but still one with a great future. She didn't want to see him die and decided to protect him if it came to it.

Jorus watched Necrin walk off into the tunnel, he stood there thinking for what felt like eternity. But to everyone else around him it could have been no more that thirty seconds. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place, literally. He looked at the woman who had just spoken she appeared to have a look of sympathy for him.

'Not exactly normal behavior coming from a Sith.' He thought to himself. He had made up his mind, in the pursuit of knowledge one must study all of the force and this would be his best opportunity to study the ways of the dark side. He turned towards the cave and began to follow Necrin into the darkness. He knew there was no turning back now, as he walked into the crystal filled cave. He put his mask back on so he could see in the darkness, his breathing through his respirator echoing throughout the tunnel.

When [member="Jorus Dane"] came after him, a slight smile formed on Necrin's lips. And he also gave a small nod in a direction where it seemed nothing were present. It was a sign for that Jorus were not to be followed, and his assassins were to stand at ease. "You have made the right descicion. Once we get back to Our Capital, you will be assigned someone to Train under. Until then, the reason we are here is to gather Crystals for the empire." They reached a big grotto inside the Cave, where the Reclamation Service was searching. There had been some findings, but not too much yet. Necrin walked over to a wall, ignited his lightsaber and cut a small hole in it. Inside was a one of the Crystals they were searching for. He picked it up and walked back to Jorus. "These"

"But if you'd rather protect this Place from Our enemies, you are free to do that. But they might be masters of the force themselves, and stronger than the one I fought earlier." After having said this, Necrin walked over to help the Service dig for Crystals. It was unusual for sith to work With their soldiers the way Necrin sometimes did, but he believed in leading as example. And if they saw that he did work too, they would be more willing to listen to him of respect, not mostly fear. Though they feared him as well, they had seen what he could do. Just as he found another Crystal, a death-cry could be heard from outside. His Phantoms had killed an intruder.

Objective II
Destroy the Imperial Revanant

1533772848570.PNG

Pyktis ripped through the Revanant troopers like a knife through butter as he swung his lightsaber through them. Pyktis wanted a challenge, all these Sith he was facing were a joke, then he had it. Pyktis's eyes locked onto a massive brute like Sith.

image0.jpg

He stood 7'7" held a cross guard saber same as Pyktis. Pyktis heard his name was Darth Scorn. Imperial troopers begun firing scorn. Scorn swung his saber killing Imperial troops by the dozen. Pyktis charged him swinging his own saber and scorn blocked the attack with one hand. Scorn reached out and grabbed Pyktis by the throat lifting Pyktis up and then tossed him like a rag doll. Pyktis slammed down hard onto the dirt skipping across it and rolling. Pyktis tasted blood inside his mouth, his ribs ached as well his throat. Jesus this guys a beast, oh well he wants to play, lets play, Pyktis thought to himself. Pyktis stood up and ran at scorn. Pyktis jumped onto a rock and did a flip over scorn kicking him in the head while in the air.

(example of flip)

Pyktis landed, crouched and swung at scorn's mid section. Scorn grunted in pain and turned to Pyktis who was already in mid swing of another attack but scorn was faster and punched Pyktis in the chest making Pyktis fall backwards onto his back. Pyktis's ribs screaming in pain, but Pyktis using this to his advantage, feeding off his pain, did a kip up to get up.

Pyktis charged at him Amd again swinging at him locking sabers.

Location: Remote Outpost.

Whatever hive creatures were under the ground just kept snatching people, pulling them under before they knew what had hit them. They didn’t have much to say, or many last words to give before disappearing below. It would make little odds to the overall picture of the invasion, but it was useful genetic material for the Hive. Only when the outpost was clear, with nothing but a few scattered defenders hiding in their bunkers did he emerge from an outpost door.

Carrying a long red blade, dripping in dead men's blood. His golden exoskeleton armor stained with dying memories of more than a few that had stood in the Swarm's way. Do not delay. They arrive soon. The impulse to harvest what genetic material could be taken was clear in his mind. The Hive Talon walked among the smaller drones and creatures pulling or feeding on samples. The gatherers took both biomatter samples and gene code with them as they harvested, it was a rudimentary process, with the Hive as yet not having creatures suited to the task. Working with what they had instead.

It would not be much, but it would help future integration to the Biospheres of this planet. He saddled atop a large jagged beast of a creature, spikes all over its back and reeking of hunger. Beginning to ride far toward the greater Hive on this world. The outpost had been too close to a particular plant strain to pass up, the fact armed metal creatures had been in the way was only a momentary distraction soon dealt with, all were material for the expansion of the Swarm's will.

Objective: 2
Location: 500m behind the front lines
Tags: [member="Darth Pyktis"] [member="Nicole Callix"] [member="Kao Xusros"] [member="Bryan Raxus"]

Jack's troops had finally set up, the Deadshot and Siege Breaker emplacements were a pain in the arse to get set up, but now that they were ready Jack watched as Fex-M3d shells were loaded into the Deadshots and High Explosive into the Siege Breakers. They were intended to fire into the back line though there was absolutely no doubt that there was going to be gas drifting towards the Jen'ari lines, though the troops where equipped with rebreathers so that wouldn't be an issue, not that Jack really cared, most of the imperial troops were cloned anyway.

Jack watched as a coordinator marked the guns as ready, when the board was green Jack spoke a single word into the comms. "Fire."

Under the thudding of the heavy guns the 22nd Antarin Besiegers started to advance into the field, moving to reinforce the troops already on the field, either advancing in formation, or riding on the back of Mad Bantha Tank Destroyers being brought forward to deal with the walkers already on the field.

Objective I
Acquire crystals for the Academy
Demtry finally calmed himself after having, in his mind, almost died. He realised he wasn't in too bad of a position, what with him having a gun now. He had enough crystals where he would be able to get away with the possibly reckless move he was about to do.
Said reckless thing was running straight towards the revenant army thing. He was skilled with guns, and adapted to this model fairly quickly. He shot at any revenant that he came close to, or he saw as a threat. He leapt onto the back of one, pushing his pistol into their temple, operating mainly on adrenaline. He span around, pushing his gun into the mans temple. "More of you can become this way, now, point me to a deposit of crystals." He seemed proud of this plan, shooting into the crowd to prove his point before pressing it back into the mans temple. It was definitely reckless as Revernants just might not care about loosing men, and he was seriously hoping they would. He continued to occasionally shoot into the crowd, panicng a little that he may be way out of his depth.

Objective II
Destroy the Imperial Revanant

1533772848570.PNG

Pyktis kicked low making the sith bend over. Pyktis then knees the sith in the face knocking him back. Pyktis takes the opening and swings but the sith catches Pyktis's hand up high. The sith punches Pyktis in the gut sending him backwards. Pyktis lands on his back hurt. Pyktis ignores the pain and does a Kip Up
image0.gif

Pyktis quickly swings his lightsaber low, while the sith blocks that, Pyktis calls a fallen sith's lightsaber nearby and turns around activating it slashing the sith across the face. The sith steps back with a fresh cut across his face. He growls and charges Pyktis. Pyktis now duel wielding sabers leaps into the air coming down stabbing a saber into each shoulder of the sith. Pyktis lands on his feet and super kicks the sith in the chin. Pyktis calls back both sabers, catches them and in a swift quick scissor swing cuts the sith in half. The top half of the sith falls backwards to the ground then Pyktis kicks his legs over.

Pyktis looks around as The Jen'ari is winning the fight. Pyktis deactivates both sabers and falls to his knees clearly injured and in pain.

Objective 1 and 2

Necrin continued to gather crystals, but the contunous sound of lightsaber activations outside and cries of pain began to make him suspicous. He decided to check it out, walking out of the cave. There, he could see the bodies of many Revenant troopers lie dead, with few of their own. One of his Phantom Guard emerged and bowed. It was unusual for them to show themselves without big reason, so something must have been off.

The answer to what was off came quickly. A group of Revenant sith came into view, with soldiers following after. Necrin gave a nod to the Phantom Guard, and activated his own lightsaber. The leader of the enemy Group came forth. They looked at each other for a short while, before a shriek could be heard, and one of the enemy sith fell. Then Necrin was quick and jumped at the leader. He cut at his head, but it got blocked in the last second. They continued swinging at each other, neither getting the upper hand. All around them, soldiers from both sides fell. But suddenly, Necrin found an opening in his enemy's guard, and used this opportunity to cut his leg. This made him stumble, and Necrin cut his head off.

Objective 2

Hk's landing had been rough, but he seemed undamaged. He had his rifle drawn, and walked out to find Revenant troopers to kill. It took a long time, as the place he had landed was far off from where the fighting happened. Most of the time he was walking through the nature, he was listening for sounds of his enemies sneaking around. He would also occasionally shout out mockeries to try to make potential stalkers flinch or make a sound.

But it took a long time before he found anyone. But he suddenly heard gun shots being fired, and went in that direction. When he got Close, he saw a large Group of revenant soldiers. And one of their own, which his database told him was called [member="Demitry Draskovits"]. He was holding one of the enemies hostage, while moving into the crowd. Very reckless, a strategy HK liked. But he could never pull it of alone, especially when only shooting in the air. These People needed an example, and that was one of HK's speciallities. He shot one of them, rendomly chosen. "Demand: back off, or you will all die." He saw the panick and surprise in the faces of a lot of them, which pleased him, while still aiming his rifle into the crowd. A little quieter, he said: "Statement: But I might do that anyway"
