"Hail to the order." said Melkaroth, returning the gesture. "At ease, soldier." He eyed the man, whom he now guessed was either a member of the army or storm trooper corps. "And you might be?"
The Sith returned the gesture then told Dex to At Ease, Dex relaxed immediately and answered the Sith's inquiry into who he was "I am Private Dex Drakkel, of the New Order Stormtrooper Corps, Sir"

"Commodore Melkaroth Tyrin--you seem to already know that, though." Replied the Sith. "Private Dranel, your young friend here just mentioned something about 'New Order profligates;' he is, therefore, either incredibly brave, incredibly stupid, or incredibly drunk. Tell me, private, which do you think he is?"
Dex looked at Carden in surprise, the back to his superior "Well he is very young, and young people can always make stupid mistakes like that, but then there is also the fact that you must be incredibly brave to say something like that to a Sith, I'm pretty sure everyone has heard the legends about the ruthlessness of the Sith, Sir!" Dex had answered that question to the best of his ability and hopefully it was substantial enough for the Sith to accept as an answer.

Melkaroth thought for a moment, then shrugged. "Well." he said, turning to Carden. "The private seems to think fairly highly of you, I suppose. Besides, I've already dealt with my share of stupid people today." He took a long swig of his foul-tasting liqeuor. At least it was strong. "Do you have a name?"
"I always did have a soft spot for the brave ones." said Melkaroth, with a hint of a smile. "At least you're honest about it. That makes you more brave." He took another swig, appearing satisfied with the mercenaries' answer.
Keeping his eyes locked on the sith Carden wondered what a sith was doing here, Carden did not say it but he was a little afraid of the sith. But he tried not to show it. "So what brings you here sith"
Just while the attention wasn't focused on him, Dex picked up the glass he had ordered for himself and took a nice, long, healthy sip. He had to admit, he hadn't expected to see a Sith in the cantina at all, but he supposed that even Sith had lazy days as well. So he simply tried to initiate more conversation "So Carden, have you ever considered being in the New Order military before?"

"No offense but yes I have but I decided not to because big organizations are troublesome. Im fine with the mercs. Who knows mabie you or the Hutts have jobs for us to do that is too dirty for your likings."
"Well maybe the high rankers will be to afraid of losing troops or something, but if you have to fight for us in the battlefeild don't worry I will always be there, I am not the kind of guy who turns his back on family, and this is my family"
[member="Carden Lorps"]
"You never turn your back on your family, there are no exceptions, no matter how badly they treat you, no matter how much they piss you off, you never turn your back on them, because that isn't the right thing to do"
[member="Carden Lorps"]
"I don't really know much about my real family anymore, they abandoned me when I joined the New Order" Dex said solemnly to Carden.

"No they were big fans of the Republic, which is surprising considering they lived and raised me on Correlia, but no they didn't approve of my choice and simply broke all contact with me"
