Alpha. The statue measures Force Potential via shifting colors. But since your not Sensitive? Your just going to have to have to hit it, as hard as you can. If you can just chip the statue in even the smallest degree? The Priests will let you fight for sure.

Does the statue measure the power accurately even if you are holding back? Is there more than one statue? My post is dependent on both questions so I will wait for a reply before I post.

The statue is a plot device I made up on the spot. The colors represent Karate Belts I remembered seeing as a kid. And yes, it is accurate. But. It does only measure your power based on your attack. So yes. As you have no doubt discovered, you can in fact mask your true potential by holding back. However, only a few fighters do so. As the colors generally represent how successful in the tournament you will become.

And yes. There are more than one statue. However, they are of different animals and are used to judge different skill sets. We will all be using the Swan, as it is the statue of the Blue Circle. Or the 'Newcomers' test.

I read and you didnt emphsise that ONLY the force users made the stone turn colors. You menitioned people throwing lighsabers and what not making it glow. so I thought It would change for me too.

Fable since this is your thread, I want to ask permission to work a substory thread, it wont have any impact with the main story but it will simply explain where Daxton obtain some rare plants for his experiments.

Totally good Daxton. Thanks for asking. That is extremely considerate of you. Rock on! Now. I haven't introduced many of the story elements yet, as we haven't started competing. Once we get the first round of fighting out of the way I'll drop the main Antagonist in and mix things up a bit. But yeah... Go for it.
