In Darkness There Is Still Light

Kay stepped into her office at the Senate. It was a small office, not really decorated, not really fancy. She hardly spent any time there. Most of her time was spent out on business or her own personal mission to disrupt the slave trade and try to keep the peace in the Galaxy. It was tough and she had gone through many dangerous situations, but thankfully had been able to keep her wits about her and her goodness in tact.

She raised a brow as she spotted a letter on her desk. A letter? On paper? That was very rare these days but not unwelcomed. Kay walked over to her desk, gingerly picking up the letter that simply had her name on it. She unfolded it, reading it. A simple invitation to meet on Naboo by Animus. Was this an apology? Well she did want to find out if he did indeed have a theatre background.

Five hours later, after preparing her things and travelling to the planet, she found herself at what she had hoped was the right Naboo lake. Kay was dressed comfortably in her upper class merchant attire, with her tattered old satchel slung over her shoulder. It never left her side unless it was taken from her. Which has happened a few times, but it was always returned or rescued.

Not long after she had arrived, a luxury starfighter appeared, it's driver politely informing her to come aboard. Well this was...odd, to say the least. Perhaps he was showing off? Kay bowed her head a little, deciding to play along for the time being and got on board. She had no bodyguards with her. It was Naboo afterall. How dangerous could it be?

[member="Darth Mythos"]

Animus had not been to Naboo since his departure on Glee Anselm. He had not been to the Malgus estate and the Lakesides for what seemed like a lifetime. The Smell of the Lake and the crisp air of Farmlands. The Cattle herders passing by one by one eyeing his Starfighter who he had brought. Many recognized him as what he was, A Sith. Others knew him as Ani, the young boy of Naboo whose father paved roads and fed hungry bellies for a decade with Illicit Geonosian Goods. He passed through the old house. Of Course Groom and [member="Kida Ravos"] were Enjoying the prairie side, green Pastures as far as the eyes could see and a crystalline lakeside that was beautiful to behold and also lead to the underwater Gungan City.
He had invited a Special guest this evening.A Lady he had the Displeasure of having had her in the wrong side of Atrisia, he was going to make up for that. He Wore his Red and Black Sith Knight Robes. Long Flowing Hair as Usual, and the Scent of Romanira flowers bathed his hair and body because he had spent the day having what he rarely had in Sith Territory and works... a long warm bath and a glass of red wine.

The Starfighter arrived, N-1 Starfighter. The Classic. Still used and fought with, but nowmore common in Luxury high class events and weddings, Animus Smiled at the Idea. Weddings. It would take a lot to make him consider that. He was a Gentleman, but Mythos considered Himself a catch, not the other way around. He wished to be wooed and impressed, he was impressive on his own and Women loved him. Yet Romance was not what called the lady to him, (although her eyes might be part of the reason). He wanted to have her on his good side and vise versa. She was not only famous, but brought Mythos the Ability to call upon... strange allies if need be.

She stepped out in a merchant attire that quite befitted her, Made Animus feel over dressed. "You look" He paused when he got a look at her. He had looked at her from afar and noticed her looks but up close... things were different. This woman was Stunning. "Ravishing" He tried not to sound too passionate with that word. But this was Animus Malgus, Mythos. The Sin of Pride. Everything he did he did with passion and Ferocity. He Loved, he Hated, he Raged, he weeped with all his Passion and Emotion. It was his way.
"Please, this way My Lady"
Animus would lead her to the back of the Estate, a Balcony of Redroot overlooking the Lake and a Crystalline Bungalow that offered shade and seats. Quite a beautiful sight in the afternoon as the sun beat upon the lake making it shimmer with the sun's rays.

Ravishing? It wasn't as though she was wearing anything revealing or elegant. Well maybe it was a little formal in appearance, but it was comfortable and she'd take comfort over looks any day. "Flattery will only get you so far..." She saw through his silver-tongued speeches, while the other Senators did not. And she just could not yet understand why. Maybe today she'll find out.

Kay followed him to the the balcony and once there, she closed her eyes as she took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, taking in the fresh air, the beauty and the warmth of the sun which thankfully wasn't too warm. She just took it all in, trying to recall any childhood memories of the planet as she too was born there. But alas those memories weren't to be found.

She turned to her host, noting the way he smelled and dressed for the occasion. Sith robes. She had forgotten to shrink her Force signature so that he wouldn't pick up on it as she was highly distracted with where she was. But perhaps he wouldn't notice?

"To what do I owe the pleasure of this meeting, Animus?"

[member="Darth Mythos"]

Animus for some time looked about the Lake and it's beauty and let the wind blow through his hair as he smiled. "Owe? Why must you Owe for the pleasure of good company?"
His voice was soft and casual, as if this was just another routine visit.
The Sun beat upon the waters of the lake as if they were a golden pathway into the sky, the glimmer of its rays against the ripples of it's waters could be seen as magic to Mythos
Animus said reaching with the force making two glasses of fine Blue Ale, light Alcohol, more for the taste buds than for the strength. The Glasses filled and the Bluish liquid poured into them as Mythos focused on the task seeming not to mind. "Honesty is not flattery, i do so cherish the moments i am allowed to speak my heart and be honest.... they are so rare" His gaze was lost in the melancholy of his words and the memories of his house.
It was here where he pranced and ran throughout his childhood, where he saw his first podrace, where his father beat him consistently. It was near that lake as well where he dumped the bodies... Such wonderful memories. Mythos wanted to make new ones... Sitting here, With her, was the best memory he had of this place so far.
"What do you love miss Kay?" His Yellow eyes met her not with rage or Fury as they would meet everything and everyone else. But with a hint, of very visible sadness. Darth Mythos, the Fury of Taloraan, the Sin of Pride, The Sith Knight. Was not Above Loneliness.

Is that what he sent her here for? Just to be good company? Oh there must be more to it than that. She watched as he used the Force to pour a couple if drinks. Kay was so used to hiding it, that she didn't learn a lot of skills. And outside of healing and a few others, she couldn't remember the rest that she was taught at the Academy. Oh the joys of being an Arkanian mad scientist's lab animal for a little while...But slowly she was learning more skills, taking up a variety of teachers instead of having just one Master. It was better that way.

"I, myself am a very bad liar. People can read me like an open book. So honesty from others is something that I can respect."

This was a very odd situation. He had brought her here for something, yet she couldn't quite figure out what that was just yet. Then he asked about what it was that she loved. Was he just fishing for information? The look in his eyes, the sadness, almost matched her own. But she didn't want to get too personal. He was afterall, one of the enemies of those she worked for, the Republic. Although she has hired a few members of that organization for her crusade. And after bringing that to the attention of the Minister of Intelligence to avoid getting arrested for treason, she had agreed to let an agent work for her and be her shadow. Thankfully as far as she knew, none had been assigned to her just yet.

"I love....Sapir tea, and almost every tea really. It's warm and comforting like a hug after a hard day. I love peace and freedom and I spend everyday helping others to achieve and maintain it. And I love places like this...." Kay gestured to the lake and the nature surrounding it. She didn't want to get into the story of her short five year marriage and the sacrifice of her husband, nor their adopted kids that went into hiding not long after. Others have told her to move on, but she has remained steadfast and loyal to her late husband's memory. There was no reason to be selfish and endanger another's life.

[member="Darth Mythos"]

Animus laughed as he looked abroad the view, he saw in her eyes something akin to his own. He could not tell however, after so much senseless violence, after so much killing and buying for places for the One Sith, Neck deep in muck and the blood of enemies.... was it so hard to be here? As a Man and a Woman? and Enjoy some tea?
"A tea lover? I'm afraid i had the wrong drinks then!" Animus said with a smile. He clapped twice and a handmaiden came, Lovely young lady, no younger than Mythos from the city, she worked his Estate and kept it clean while he was away and served as his cook and... helper for the place. Green eyes and Yellow blonde hair, Animus found her lovely, yet he would not dare make an approach on her.
Once the girl came over she bowed in courtesy. "Master Malgus, My lady"

"Some Tea Sherine, Tapir, Please"
"Right away Master Malgus"
Animus sighed and rolled his eyes as she was out of earshot.
"I keep telling her to call me Animus, we studied together, we went to school together yet suddenly i return and everything's changed.. the Techno Union has my Country and my Countrymen in a yoke of Economic suffocation and i come here a Sith Knight. Gallant and Heroic. " He closed his eyes in a time of meditation and clear sadness. The tea came hot and boiling in a fancy Nabooian Teapot just minutes after, well prepared and with a very nice taste.
"Anything else Master Malgus?" Sherine asked with a bow.
"How about calling me Animus like you used to back in school when Joey and i gave you a Romanira and you chose Joey"
Animus said with a wink and sly smile. Joey had turned out to be neighboring garbage man but in school he was the Hunk of Hunks.
"You are never going to let that go Are you mas" She stopped, turning red and sighing. "Animus" The way she said it sounded with a bit more fire than he intended.
"No thank you Shireene. You can take the night off" said waving her away. With a bow she was off but Animus never looked at her again, because this would also be the last day she would work here. The Trade Union would soon confiscate her apartment and force her into forced labor in the guise of "Free Market"

Animus looked back over a cup of tea which was extremely well prepared at [member="Lady Kay"]. The Woman had a gallantry about her, and her eyes were sapphires in a sea of coal. "Is there anyone special in your life miss Kay?" Myths was direct, he was also very bold. "You do know what i mean" direct to the point. Allways. His question was that of curiosity, why the curiosity Animus did not know right now... but he was curious.

Kay-Larr

Well there was no need for him to change drinks just for her, but he was the host of this little meeting of sorts and so she didn't protest it. Kay bowed her head to Shireene and cradled the mug in both of her hands. It was a bit too hot to drink for the moment, so she just relished in the smell. "Thank you kindly, Miss Shireene. It smells lovely." She gave the handmaiden a smile and liked the banter going on between her and Animus. But there was a saddened undertone to the ladies voice and a feeling of almost dread in the atmosphere as she had left.

It had to be because of the Techno Union. Kay had only heard rumours, but it was enough to get her to quit being the COO of one of their top weapons and armour suppliers. She did not support oppression in any way and spent most of her time fighting against it. She was the stubborn sort and it has gotten her into trouble a number of times. But it has also gained her plenty of allies as well.

As she was about to address such an issue with him, Animus asked her a very personal question. The pieces were starting to fit together. Was this why he asked her here? Or was he just still fishing for more information. From his speeches in the Senate hall that she had witnessed, it was clear that he did a lot of research on those he visited. But maybe there wasn't a lot about her out there on the holonet afterall.

Kay sipped her tea and traced one of her thumbs along the edge of the mug. "...My husband was killed almost six years ago by a ruthless Sith Lord that I have thankfully never seen again. My husband sacrificed himself...and I will forever honour his memory and use the time that he has given me to make this Galaxy a better place."

And now she changed the subject back to something that she felt was easier to put her focus on. She looked sadly to the lake. "The Techno Union are going to destroy this place....aren't they?"

[member="Darth Mythos"]

Animus closed his eyes and clenched his teeth letting out a long drawn out sigh. The tea did little to ease his discomfort, he had not said those words before but he knew them to be true... Techno Union Bastards were going to Pollute the Lakes, Kill the Gungans and anyone else that was put in their way, This was not the reason he had called her, he did not now she was not a fan of the Techno union but her voice in that last sentence let him know everything. "Yes" His voice was confident, but defiant. "I am sorry..." He did not mean to have her re-live her sorrow, he had no idea she had lost someone so dear and close to her heart, Mythos could not begin to Imagine if he let his passions fly and love attach then lose that person...

He shook his head "They don't care..." Animus began, his anger now getting uncontrollable and his yellow eyes brimming with Fire. "They will pollute the lakes, take people from their Homes, they have desecrated the Royal Palace and they will enslave the Gungans" His eyes narrowed. He had seen it. His once beautiful Naboo was being turned into a Mega Factory for the Blasted Techno Union. He let it go. Breathing out exasperated he realized there was nothing he could really do, The Union was allied with the Sith and Any action he took would be treason. Period. He was not particularly against slavery... But this was Mytho's home. He would be Dammed if he just stood by!!... but he had to, his Responsibility was to the One Sith... Not to his Ego and his planet. The Tea cup next to him started shaking and so did the ground from his Rage.

He realized it and calmed down putting his hands in his face exasperated. It stopped shaking. "I'm so sorry...i... Sometimes get passionate." rising slowly he shook his head and looked her right in the eyes, hiding nothing leanind a bit on his chair. "We are not All Killing machines mis Kay..."

It was sad to think that the beauty of Naboo was going to be destroyed. But maybe it wasn't too late.

She almost lost her balance when the ground started shaking, but widening her stance helped. Only a few drops of tea had escaped the mug during that.

"I know that you are not all killing machines. I have a few allies in your organization that have helped me in my crusade on a few occasions. All that I need to do is ask and they will come to my aide. And from what I know of you, Animus.....You are very intelligent and I am sure that you could figure out some way to save Naboo."

Kay had a sip of her tea, looking out to the lake for a moment as she collected her thoughts. She wasn't the type to give up on hope easily. There was always another way to solve a problem.

"Take me for example. I am fighting against an ally for the Republic. And why? Because they are breaking our laws. No they aren't doing so in Republic territory, but still....Someone in my position should not be doing what I am doing. But I am. And one way to skirt around it is to have my allies outside of the Republic fight along side me and in some occasions, fight for me. You can do the same. Sabotage their operations, make it so that it isn't worth while. Free the slaves, ensure the delivery of goods to the people. You have the resources. Don't just sit there and let your home crumble all around you. Take it back."

She had no idea if it would work, but it was worth a try. If she was in his position, it would be exactly the avenues that she would try.

Take it back.
Those words were like a light fire inside a lake of Gas that ignited an Explosion inside Animus. This is My Home... I won't sit by and Let it Fall.
"They aren't breaking Our Laws." Animus shook his head, maybe there was a way, maybe she knew a way. With no claim and no way to attain Naboo for the One Sith he could not do anything without being hunted for treason and his head in a pike not surely after. The Union was not breaking the Laws of the Sith, in a Any way, an Act against them was a suicide dive where he had no way to stand and defeat it... But He was a Hometown Hero.

Then it hit him... If he could become the Will of Atrisia with the Power of what some would call "The Silver Tongue of Mythos" why not try it here?
"I Militarily i cannot do absolutely anything I have not the authority of the One Sith to move against the Union. Politically however... As a Citizen of Naboo and Veteran of her Forces." Animus Smiled. Knowing the Lady could see what he was getting at. Militarily, he could do nothing, But Politically!... he could send them back to the Stone Age if he rallied the People of Naboo. "All i need to do it take my shirt off and the Courts will be mine!" he said with a laugh, lightening the mood.

Kay smirked. If she had swallowed some tea at that moment, it surely would've come out of her nose. Oh yes, she remembered him showing off his chest and all the scars upon it. She had turned away from him at that point in the Senate hall as she knew it was just all a part of his ploy.

"Being as you grew up here, I'm sure that everyone has seen you with your shirt off, so it might not have quite the impact that you desire." She sipped her tea to hide her smile of amusement.

But it was a serious thing, the potential loss of one of the most beautiful jewels of the Galaxy. "If you need any help, then I am here. I am not under the same restrictions as you are."

[member="Darth Mythos"]

"When i worked in Atrisia i had the orders of the One Sith and was plopped up to the point where i was made to be important, here it will be much more..." Animus placed his hand under his chin in a gesture of thought while he calculated a plan. "Complicated..." He mused over the political ways of Naboo. "They are not Politicians per say... they are Royalist Monarchist.. " His fingers rhythmically placed over the table as he sipped his tea. "The Only way to truly make an Impact without having to bow to the Whims of the Royals would be to effectively be a noble, which i am Not. " He looked at her as if expecting her to have a solution to this dilemma. "Furthermore the Queen is Bought by the Union, which means the highest Authority is in their pocket"

Animus looked at the lake musing another idea. "We will need the Gungans as well, and they are Proud. So much so they have only ever lifted a finger to help Naboo Once.... And my Father was but a babe back then."

his eyes closed as he held back a single tear that he forced not to come. The Gungans. His friends. When no other children would be with him, Gungans would, he lived close to the lake... he saw their way of life and admired it, Honor was seeded by him in part by the Gungan friend Masaja Bikor, a Old Gungan Warrior who Animus Idolized as a child.
"First.... I need to become a Noble. Any idea how to go about this?" His question was firm and confident. His tone Strong and Defiant. His eyes blazing with the Amber Fury of Ferus' own eyes. He was not doing this for Titles or Pride, he had enough of those. This was his Country. The Techno Union would treat it like it should, or it would face the Wrath of Mythos.

"Naboo may be run by a Monarchy, but the Queen herself cannot hold her position for long. She was voted in. Just as easily, she can be voted out and replaced. You just need to find a young girl that dislikes the Techno Union and then you are well on your way to saving Naboo."

Kay sipped her tea. That was one option. The Gungans were another. She had heard the story like most have of the great uprising against the Trade Federation that tried to control their world at the behest of the Empire.

There were other options as well but those two presented themselves first in their little brainstorming session. The question of nobility however gave her pause. Was this the real reason why he had asked her here?

Kay studied him and then looked around at the estate. It was hard to read people sometimes. "So....you own this lovely estate and you don't have a title? What of your parents? If someone is not born into Nobility, then one must either gain favour by the Monarchy and have Nobility granted or gain it through marriage." Just like she did. Only she owned no estate or anything of the sort. All of that went to her husband's sister, Shea. Kay just received the title and nothing more, which was just fine by her. She didn't really need it anyways and managed to get by very well on her own.

"But I think that getting the people on your side, including the Gungans would probably be the right thing to do."

[member="Darth Mythos"]

In the distance, far from their conversations, the young child loomed alongside her best friend Groom. The hound and she had become almost inseparable, almost as she had once been with a certain boy back when she was with Jaxton. But they were both so different; she and Groom would scrap and roll around and chase one another, whereas Furry and she would sit and snuggle and he would tell her stories. In truth she dearly missed [member='Thurion Heavenshield'] but for now she had to set it all from her mind. She wasn't with them anymore, she had been lost to her old family. And luckily she had been found by another. She wasn't to know that she was now on an entirely other end of the spectrum!

Rolling around in the prairie no doubt did a number on Kida's attire; grass stains, pollen stains, dirt, but that was no doubt something which [member="Darth Mythos"] had become rather accustomed to by now. No matter how clean she was in the morning once bathed and dressed, by noon it would all be undone. Her hair was oft' a tangle, her trousers ripped, yet still her protector would take the time each morning to see her cared for, and each evening he would have her clothes patched up, the grime washed away and her hair de-tangled. Kida didn't know enough to fully appreciate it, but the gestures were kind and caring, and they reminded her of Jax. He had always been ever so patient with her, too.

Kida felt free now that they were off the beasts. Thankfully Mythos was spending less time at the shipyards these days and more time on worlds which held an abundance of nature. Kida liked that. She enjoyed the freedoms which accompanied large open plains, high-topped forests and even large expanses of water... Even if she still had scars from some of the more toxic lakes some of the worlds held. She did not hold it against her beloved Groom, however, the pup' hadn't realised that she couldn't paddle in acid like he could. Kida lay within the tall grass with Groom and peered over at Mythos and the woman she did not know. She had learned by now that interrupting Mythos when he had company wasn't a very nice thing to do, so she kept her distance and simply made sure that things were okay from afar, wondering throughout who this [member="Lady Kay"] woman was.

Kida was at a distance where she thought she was really super sneaky! she would have remained undetected by Mythos, if a massive Tuk'ata who stuck out like a sore thumb in green pastures did not give away her position. He smiled as he enjoyed that she was having fun, Mythos was beginning to get to know that... this was no ordinary child. Little did he know that She had once been in the Care of the Legendary Grandmaster of the SIlver Jedi. However.. Mythos knew that he had to bring her training soon, she was young a ripe for the beginning of her real Acolyte Training to become a one day... a Sith Assassin like Him. For now however he wished her to enjoy some childhood time... Before he yanked it away and replaced it with lightsabers blood and death.

"My father..." Mythos began with a heavy sigh. " Was an Underground Arms dealer that supplies weapons to the Separatists gaining heavy weaponry from Geonosian contacts and speeding them around the Enemies of the Republic when Naboo was under their control and part of the Galactic republic. " He did not mention that He himself had been part in many of these negotiations... and many of them turned sour one particular one who took his mother's life when a pirate bandit was not pleased with the quality of his father's weaponry.

"The money he gained from Illicit weapons dealings and Spice handling made this Estate, Paved Roads on the Countryside, Helped the needy and hungry... everyone loved him" But he was monster... He wanted to say but held his tongue. This story had lost it's stinger long ago due to the victory of his dead body. That Lake was the final resting place of Daeus Amul Vintron, good riddance.

Mythos pondered the Two options that [member="Lady Kay"] put on the table. She was as cunning and as intelligent as she was beautiful, that's quite a statement to say. "A Gungan Queen of Naboo." He said with a smile. Two birds, one stone. The people of Naboo ever since the initial Gungan warriors took back the Palace from the Trade Federation have worshiped them as Heroes, seeing a Powerful Gungan Leader come and rise again against the Trade Union under a Hometown hero Such as Mythos would indeed rally everyone under their banner... But they would still get Mowed down by Trade union Machine Guns...
His face turned into a saddened grimace, "If they can't have this planet one way they will take it by force." He looked up at Lady Kay and he could not believe what he was about to say. "I will need Jedis"

Kay-Larr

She thought that she saw a child playing in the distance. But did she really? It wasn't as though her eyesight was the greatest, especially when she wasn't sure of what she was focusing on.

Kay sipped her tea and nodded as she heard the tale of how the estate was formed. One would guess that paving roads and helping others prosper would have been enough to at least put one in the running for a title, but every system was different.

Animus' last statement made her do a double-take. "..Are you sure that you want to do that? I know a couple of Jedi, but I'm not sure if they will have permission from their Council. Some people follow rules better than I do...." Rules were made to be bent afterall, and sometimes broken if it meant doing the right thing. Not all rules or laws were made with every situation in mind. "Would this not get you into trouble? We could say that it was my idea and that you didn't know anything about it...."

[member="Darth Mythos"] [member="Kida Ravos"]

Animus straightened himself in his seat. "If the Jedi can Help my people, my country and my Planet from the Union.." He paused thinking it over... Yes it could get him into trouble, it could even get him executed, Treason was the word for this little talk they were having. "There is no other Choice. If you can take this matter to the Jedi Counsel and have them lead an Attack on Naboo, i will rally a Gungan force the likes of which this world has never seen. " The Fire in his eyes went alight with a blazing storm of Fury. Allying with the Jedi, Selling his very Soul was not out of the question if it meant saving his people.

He shook his head, " A couple of Jedi won't do... i need the Army of Light" And there it was. The sentence that could have his head chopped off and put on a pike. There was no turning back now, The Army of Light had not been seen since the Time of the Dark Brotherhood and Darth Bane.... But Naboo needed it now... Mythos needed them now. The Sith would not raise a finger to help naboo and would instead raise an Army to enslave it. Since allies could not be found on this side of the Spectrum.... He would need to find the other side of it.

" i will crush the hold the Union has on my Homeworld if the Army of Light is behind me, they don't now this planet like i do, The rivers, the benches, the streets, the corridors under the Palace i was taught in my times. The Strategies to use to overrun the Main City, The Supply Lines the weapon caches, The Hidden Caves and Bushes inside the Forest." He narrowed his eyes.

"I know my planet... every spec of dirt and every blade of grass is accounted for in here." He pointed as his head smacking one finger against his noggin with an Evil Smile.

"What say you miss Kay?" His voice now trailed off in desperate pleading. "Will the Jedi Help my people?" "Will they Uphold their Duty as bringers of Peace and Justice?"

[member="Lady Kay"]

It would be treason on both their fronts. Although Kay had enlisted and even hired members of the One Sith to fight along side others on her crusades, this was a different matter. Yes it had the same reasons behind it, like saving people from being enslaved, but this time it didn't involve the Hutt Cartel. And instead of her enlisting the help of members of the One Sith, it was one of them that was enlisting her help. And that could make things a bit difficult for her in the Republic. But Animus was also putting himself in danger and she respected that.

After another of the Silver Tongue's passionate speeches, she answered in kind. "I certainly hope so. I cannot speak for them as I am not one of them,but know that I know of plenty of others that could help us liberate Naboo. I will even join the fight myself, even if it means risking my career in the Senate."

Kay held out her hand to [member="Darth Mythos"] to solidify her promise.

"If you need me to come and lay my terms before them and step in front of the Counsel as a Sith" He shook her hand with a firm grip. "I will. To let them Understand this is not a matter of Faction..." He smiled as he sook a tip and and down his tea and a satisfied exhale crushing the tea cup in his hand and having the shard of it sink into his skin dripping the blood from it and then holding it out for [member="Lady Kay"] to see. "I Swear to you this Oath. I will Not rest until my People are Free from the Subjugation of The Trade Union." His hand slammed into the table with force and lifting it there was a paper with his Blood Handprint.
"I will fight beside you, beside the Jedi against Anyone who seek to destroy my Planet." He was satisfied with his meeting as he nodded seeing the Luxury Starfighter come about.
"Your ride is here.." He said calming down, a bit disappointed this meeting had to come to such an Abrupt end. It was then he said something... Un-like him in every way. "You can.." He shrugged giving her an Embarrassed smile that lit up his face in a red glow. "Stay if you like"

She blinked at his actions. First crushing the cup and then making some sort of blood oath. Was there anything written on the paper? She couldn't quite tell. He wasn't the first member of the One Sith to swear an oath to her and their loyalty. Her late husband was also a Dark Lord, but he too held some light within. Or maybe it was common sense?

"You're right. This isn't a matter of Factions. I have been doing my work outside of it and I hope that the Republic will see it that way instead of believing me to becoming a traitor."

Kay had another sip of her tea as she saw the Starfighter arrive. His blushing went unnoticed as she was instead looking at his bloodied hand. They were both sticking their necks out. Who knows how long their freedom would last before they were arrested.

"Well, I haven't finished my tea yet and your hand needs to be taken care of. Perhaps after dinner I will go." And hopefully she could convince him to be sure that his staff remain and are not in danger from the Techno Union.
