All Things With Love

Gianna loved it when Cassius smiled. It stole the shadows of adulthood from his face and took her back to a time when things were simple. The flame-haired Jedi Knight led a fairly peaceful life due to the fact that she tried to make friends everywhere she went. Even her enemies, sometimes, wound up being distant acquaintances. The young woman believed firmly in the inherent good of all willing beings. It simply needed patience, time, and effort to be found.
He held her hand while she carefully removed the shackles of being her student. She wasn’t sure who the contact was truly for. To ground him, or, to comfort her. The green-eyed man would feel through their connection that letting him go was the very last thing she wanted to do for a variety of reasons. It was necessary. That didn't mean she had to be a hundred-percent happy about it. She was proud. Confident, that he was ready. She just...Worried. Gianna watched emotion flow slowly through him as her words carried, like a river, and smiled gently at the culmination.
‘My Knight…’, her mind whispered to his, crooning softly, in a birdlike chirrup. As much as it bothered her to let go, it was time, and he was more than deserving. Perhaps she would take on another Padawan one day, but for now, she was content. Her eyes flickered when he mentioned that he had something for her. At first, she wanted to refuse. This was his day. She should be gifting him—Not the other way around.
“What is this…?”, Gia trailed off, knowing what it was, but not entirely what it was for. When he explained, her eyes widened, and her lips parted as she drew breath. The Stardust Melody? He loved his ship. Loved it more than anything. She didn’t say anything for a moment, listening to him instead, while her eyes started to burn a little bit against her will.
How did he get so insightful? When had that happened?
She let him hold her left hand, keeping it pleasantly trapped, while she reached for his face with her right. She let her fingers brush against his cheekbone whisper soft, like the wing of a butterfly, and her lips slowly curved into a soft smile. “Thank you.”, she murmured lightly, taking solace in the notion that Naboo would still be considered a place he could call home. That he still wished for her presence. Some new Knights couldn’t wait to escape their Masters. There was a whole galaxy to see after all, and really, she could hardly blame them.
The crimson-haired Jedi let her hand fall away, careful, not to let the moment progress. She was already a watery mess, mostly, at the notion of losing Cassius. Since it seemed that she wouldn’t…What was the point in letting her emotions get the best of her. She stole her hand away, just for a moment, to tuck the cylinder into her robes, before she snagged his hand back, and pulled him down the temple steps, adding a little pep in her step. “So, Knight Droma. What will be do for your first day to celebrate? This should be a joyous occasion. Your choice, you pick.”
The almost whimsical woman drew her free hand across the open fields and watched with bright eyes while the grass gave way to flowers that didn’t belong. They were strange, with deep purple stems, and soft emerald petals. He liked green—Did he not?
“We could go into town.”, she suggested, turning cutely, to duck neatly under his arm and spin in a circle. Every time she moved, it was slight, and in such a way that she seemed to orbit only around him. No matter what else she did—He was what mattered. “…Or perhaps go all the way to Theed?”
“Or…We can stay home. I learned a new game when I last visited Otoh Gunga…”
