With a slight nod of his head, Adi reached into his shirt pocket and pulled out a slither of leather that seemed to hold several different card-like objects. Without even looking at them, he pulled out one specific card before placing it on the table and sliding it over to her.

"I'll let Ari know, so that he doesn't jump on you for heading upstairs."

Yawning, behind his hand, he then proceeded to leisurely rise up from the booth before settling a hand upon her shoulder.

"Congratulations on the engagement, sweetheart. Truly, you make me proud."

Giving her shoulder a squeeze, he then headed for the bar and spent a solid minute chatting to the old landlord who cast his gaze appreciatively toward Echo one or twice, as though confirming her identity. Finally he gave a nod.

"I'll keep an eye on her for you, Adi, my boy. Don't you worry."

"Appreciate it, old friend."

He returned to the booth just long enough to grab his coat, and say a fond farewell to Echo, before placing a kiss atop her head and heading to the door.

"I should be back within two days. Until then, enjoy the local attractions. Stick with Ari, he'll keep you safe."
