EMP/Ion -These guys cybernetics and armor systems make them very vulnerable to EMP/Ion

Cardio Enhancement - As a result they become brash and prone to self-destructive behavior in an effort to push themselves to their absolute limits.

Reaction Time - Extended use brings on bouts of paranoia with no breaks of the device resulting in insanity

Major upkeep - as a result of them being clones and their extensive cybernetics these agents need to take extensive antibiotics. Even then they will not lead long lives

Cohesive unit - While great as a team, they do not do well outside of their roles. As a result the team is only good when they are together



Cardio Enhancement + The end result allows Inferno One to run faster, withstand more damage, obtain incredible endurance, and harness a peerless strength at three times the human norm.

Reaction Time + Allows for incredible reflexes

Covert Ops + They excel at stealth operations (Assassinations, Espionage, and Sabotage)

Bio Implant + Immune to poison


Description:
Inferno One is made up entirely of clones of Desmond. They even have the exact same cybernetics as him. This was done to ensure that Desmond would never truly leave the Empire as he had done so many other governments. They are an elite task force that specialize in wet work. Their history dates back even before Inferno Squadron was refounded. They operated as Purge Squadron and their jurisdiction fell under Imperial Intelligence (Aram Kalast). They acted as pilots and as infantry, but they were seen as an elite group within an elite group. Or so it was said, but among the high Moffs their are whisper that it was Director Caalgen’s conniving that got Purge Squadron removed from Intelligence (And Director Aram’s leadership) and placed under the Navy's newly reformed Inferno squadron. Now they often operate on Director Caalgen’s personal flagship the Conqueror class destroyer the Silencer. Though while Caalgen believes he has achieved a great feat in lording over Inferno One he has in fact played right into the Grand Moff’s hands. Inferno One ultimately answer to one man and one man only. In secret they receive their true orders and carry them out without hesitation. Now Grand Moff Tanomas Graf uses Inferno One as a means to keep close tabs on Caalgen and ensure he never assumes he’s worth more than his station.

  • These two things are a bit contradictory. If they 'truly' answer to Tanomas Graf, then how are they a personal squad for Desmond C'artyom?
  • Please clarify this point.

  • Same as above. The squad members are significantly augmented, which should be included with an item under Strength. You can combine the above point and this one into the same Strength, but it should be annotated for clarity.
  • Same goes for the downside of the reaction augment and its mention in Weaknesses.

Please address the issues raised above, and we'll see where to go from there.

  • Can you provide a RM thread where you have completed the mission to allow for their usage?

In light of their powerful Strengths, I'd like to see another Weakness added to balance it out, and we should be good to go.

The weaknesses you added have little impact on their active deployment in a PvP thread. Please provide one such Weakness.

I read the thread you linked; with Codex 2.0 / Factory 4.0 we don't have post requirements anymore. The request is instead to tell a complete story, and that thread remains unfinished. Please provide another thread that satisfies the RM objective, or remove the personal cloaking device and its boons from the submission.

From the Restricted materials rules:
1.Objectives which require you to visit a planet located within theInfluence Cloud of a Major Faction may only be completed in Non-Private threads.
  • The Kazahana Asteroid Field is in SJO-owned space, and therefore you can't mine the Stygium in Private thread.
  • The story was fine and interesting enough, but them's the rules.

The Weakness is fine now, so you I can either approve this or you go redo your Stygium objective. Your call - let me know.

Consulted the powers that be to make sure, and yeah – given that you're using the thread to try and equip four NPCs, that's not enough effort put in.

Please tell a solid, complete story in a Public thread and show the effort required to warrant the Stygium cloaking device at what is technically Semi-unique production.

Alternately, leave it out and I can approve the submission as-is.

No problem. :) However, my mentor's pointed out to me that you've got one minor hiccup to fix still, and we should be good to go.

"Ultra rare" and "Very limited" aren't categories. Just put down the narrowest available from the template – that there are only four is evident from the description.

After that, we're good to go.
