Interest Check: Egyptian-themed Species/Planet

So, I've been mulling over ideas for a new custom species and planet based around an Ancient Egyptian theme, due to my recent fascination with the time period. A Pharaoh-based monarchy and all that. As I'm quite terrible at putting my ideas down in text, I was curious if anyone might be interested in helping me flesh out the idea and aid in getting the necessary threads posted?

Mhmm. The whole anthro jackal-man look, like in the video I posted. Was thinking they'd be a warrior/religious race, worshiping their pantheon of gods like Ra and Set and all that. Also had the idea that there's a native human population which are essentially the slave caste upon the planet.

I'd be honored to have the assistance! I'm hoping to make a new character of this species (their Pharaoh, more than likely) as soon as we can get a species creation thread up. That's the part I need help on the most. I'm absolutely terrible at wording my ideas.

I would also be able to contribute to writing. My major is in social studies education, emphasis history. Egyptology being one of my favorite subjects. You should be aware, however, that the Ancient Red Sith already have a psuedo-Egyptian thing going on.
