Interests on Ilum

"Perhaps, perhaps not, depends on the culture", she replied with a small chuckle, stepping to the side once her words were given, observing Sky's reaction to the whole thing. She stood there, arms cross as the zeltron looked around, hopefully she would actually find her crystal here this trip was starting to take longer then expected. Luck would have it that this time around the search would bear fruit, Elise eyeing up the reaction from Sky as she started hopping up, another small chuckle coming from the women. "Yes Sky, I can't see it, not yet, but at least we know it's here".

Her feet crunched against the ground as she walked over to her flat backed student, looking down at her as the lied on the floor, "you are going to get a gold and wet back doing that Sky, but if it helps you get that crystal". She eyed the roof with her own sense of anticipation as the zeltron went to work, Elise able to feel her work the force bit by bit, assuming she was trying to nudge the crystal lose. Whats more Sky's lack of telekinetic training gave her a few ideas, most Padawan usually got the basics of that skill down before going on this trial... this child certainly had a lot to learn,

As soon as the crystal touched Sky's hand the force finally allowed Elise to see it, giving the Zeltron a warm smile and slow clap of the hands as they bounded with joy. "Yes you did, and a yellow crystal at that, I wonder what type it is", the crystal may give the blade a certain quality if identified correctly, but that was for later. "For now, we head back to the ship, my equipment should be done with it's scanning and seeing you get your crystal first hand as been enough data, besides I think you will need to take a hot shower too".

Sky was much too preoccupied to think about how cold and wet her back might be for now. As [member="Elise Ike"] pondered what kind of crystal it was Sky had to shrug, she had zero knowledge on the difference between crystals, but it was hers, and it was fantastic. As Elise said they should head back to the ship, Sky quickly looked up and around, "Riiight."she said starting to walk down the path, she knew at least this one was the right way. She rather hoped that Elise might tell her if she messed up.

Getting in was hard enough, but now she was trying to back-tread what she'd had her eyes closed for some of. Sometimes clearly retracing her steps by re-preforming the moves she'd done along the way, "Man that shower is sounding good. It's flippin cold!" she said eagerly thinking about it. Man would this journey have been so much more unpleasant if she hadn't gotten this help.

Heck she might not even have found it she realized. But now she had it, and the joy was just cascading off of her.

Elise cracked her neck a little, walking back through the way they had came, soft foot prints still in the icy floors, acting as a return path for the two adventures. "You should have worn proper clothing before coming here, I mean, you did know this planet was frozen right"? I mean, to come to this planet she had to know at least something about it, would make sense right? Either way they had accomplished what they set out to do, Elise giving the Zeltron a small pat on the back as they reach the entrance once more.

Her hand waving to lift up her equipment and carrying back to the shuttle that Sky used to get here, "I'll send my own craft onto auto pilot, I hope you don't mind if I come with you? I'd like to test to see what sort of crystal you have, could be a verlomite one, those make very nice blades". It was only one of many possible crystals but she was just giving an example, not many people found this sort in their first trial, Sky was certainly lucky.

Sky chuckled guiltily at the mention of bringing better clothes, "Yeah could have done a little better I know but I've never been here before." she admitted rubbing her hands agains the coat she had on. At least she hadn't gone completely without protection, but she could certainly feel the numbness running in her fingers and skin. It was not a very pleasant experience.

Huzzah! They made it to the exit, Sky reached out her arms and looked up into the sky, "Whooh!" she said joyful being back out in the open, she nodded happily as Elise asked about coming with her, "All good with me! You're kind of a big reason I got one after all right?" she added.

Sky practically danced towards the shuttle as they moved onwards, though regularly rubbing her arms and breathing into her hands as they went. She was still immensely excited, but she was also going to be incredibly happy to be out of this freezing planet and back somewhere actually reasonably warm.

Elise shielded her eyes from the bright light until they reached the safety of the ship, her own having lifted off into space, "yes I did lead you on your trip.... you know what, perhaps it's time for me to come out of retirement, Sky, do you have a master"? She asked with genuine interest, it had not been long since her last student, but to undertake a Padawan once more and be a proper master had not taken place for several hundred years, mostly due to her infighting with grandmother.

Now though, she was well again, free of any parental figure, with centuries of knowledge to pass onto a new student and sky seemed like she needed quite the experienced master to stay in the game. "That is if you would have me, I am not certain what order you are apart of and if they would allow me to come". Some orders were strict others were quite free, it was honestly hard to tell these days with so many sects flying around, made keeping track of things difficult.

Sky frowned and shook her head almost as if she failed when [member="Elise Ike"] asked if she had a master, "No ma'am I do not. I...honestly I'm barely used to most of it. I don't know how it all works. I mean...if it wasn't obvious."

She admitted this knowing it wasn't all her fault, but regardless, she felt as if in some way she hadn't succeeded like she should.

Elise Ike said:
"That is if you would have me, I am not certain what order you are apart of and if they would allow me to come".
The Zeltron's eyes lit up as she looked back with a smile on her face, "Oh yes absolutely! Please! I'm just, it's called the Jedi Praxeum. More like a school then a real order. I think they just kind of let people do as they do, not so great when you don't actually know what it is your doing. But if you could help me, that would just be absolutely wonderful!" She practically bounced but still kept her crystal clasped in her hands as she did so, far too careful to let it fall. Even if it was immensely unlikely it could possible shatter just by hitting the floor.

She should have expected such an excited response come to think of it, Elise offering a simple smile towards the Zeltron Padawan as she bubbled with joy, "well certainly sounds like you are apart of an interesting group, will be fun to meet with them and introduce myself". The fact it was more a school then an order would probably help in getting good without having to divulge her past and join a proper ranking system, Sky was certainly turning out to be quite the nice student if she did have to say so herself. "Well then we best be off, I am guessing your teachers would be ecstatic to see that you have obtained a light saber crystals", also learn that the wayward women wasn't in any sort of danger, she would not be surprised if her adventure here was not properly announced. Yet another chance to get in good with the group, if she returned one of their students safe and sound along with teaching them some interesting things along the way. "I will leave the flying to you, this is your craft after all and I am not really aware of where this Jedi Preaxeum resides".

Sky bobbed her head with a nod as she said it would be fun to meet them. She clapped a hand on the console of the ship as Elise said her teachers would be happy to see what she had obtained from her little not too well planned trip. But it all had turned out well right? So surely they wouldn't have all that much to complain about. Besides it wasn't like she was forced to be a part of them they were just kind of...there? Available. A way to learn.

"Oh when the moon shines on you, shines on me, when we drift in the stream," She sung one of the songs to herself quietly as she got to setting up the ship for takeoff and preparing to head out, "We swim and we float along, singing our own little song."

She was still immensely happy but was a little bit more focused on preparing the ship and heading out, getting the hyperspace route set up as she talked and the took off, "Oh thank you very much again, it's truly very nice of you! I don't really know how this would have turned out otherwise."

Elise crossed her legs, taking a comfortable seat while feeling the ships engines rattle the room a little as they powered up, a small smile across her face as she listened to Sky's singing. "Quite the voice you have there, ever considered learning force scream"? She joked of course but it was always good to have decent vocals before learning such a power, maybe Sky would be capable of doing a higher pitch scream capable of doing even more damage then usual. "You seem quite happy with this new arraignment, the force works in mysteries ways, but if I didn't show up you may have become an ice block".

Sky turned her head and raised her eyebrows as she heard a compliment, followed by a question about interest in Force Scream. She furrowed her brow and looked forwards again in thought, "Uh, no, I didn't even think of it as an option. It's not a very common technique is it?" she semi-asked. It was an interesting thought, and she was certainly interested in learning it if she could. But just had no idea of how it worked.

As the matter of their arrangement, and how Sky may have had a bit more of a chilling ending she had to giggle nervously, "Yeah...I really could have thought that out better...thank you. That might not have gone well at all. But hey, it all worked out now didn't it.
Little chance little dance
Down the icy halls I prance
Nearly gone nearly frozen
Saved by Archeologist Doctor Dixon."

She frowned and let out a groan at her rhyme, "Meh, feel I could have done better."

She had to think about the answer for a bit, when she was younger such skills were common but things changed, though even so the theory behind the power wasn’t hard to understand. “Common or not it’s not hard to learn, though perhaps from bellow would make more sense, I think scream is more akin to Sith then Jedi”. Screaming just didn’t seem to be a very Jedi thing to do, clam and tranquility was more their style.

A small chuckle came from her at the little song she shouted at the end, “not much seems rhyme with Dixon, still that was a funny little giggle, keep at it, maybe when your older you can retell it to your own students”.

Sky let out a hum in thought as [member="Elise Ike"] explained it wasn't hard to learn. But that Bellow was perhaps more correct, mentioning scream actually had more to do with Sith then Jedi. The little girl cocked her head. Apparently her master was knowledgable on more then just Jedi teachings then, she wondered how many of the teachers at the school could say the shame.

The Zeltron girl smiled again as Elise mentioned not much rhymed with Dixon but to keep at it so she could retell it to her own students when she was older. She let out another giggle, "Pssh, if I ever get good enough for that. I'm only barely good enough to even be called a Padawan. Honestly I bet there are Younglings better then I am." she shook her head at herself, "I mean I know that's not entirely because I'm an idiot but still, bit behind."

She gave a small chuckle, raising a hand to pat the girls white hair, "now now, its all about when you start, those that are younger and stronger most likly were raised from birth to be Jedi, I certainly was, from the moment I could walk on my other my mother crept in froce teachings". "Sure was probably 3 times as powerful as you at the same age, but my childhood wasn't exacty the most interesting, I mean you can sing and dance, I'm pratically tone deaf and bad at foot work... unless it's related to dueling". Her words were semi ture, except for the dancing and singing, she was quite proficent at it a few decades ago, though over time her skill has rusted a bit.
