That's the price you have to pay if you want to rule Europe yet are too afraid of starting another war.

I'm still personally waiting for them to just drop Greece on their head and give up on them, might make the Union more bearable if we got rid of them. And the Spanish and Portuguese. And the Italians. And anybody but Germany really. I'd be cool with a union led just by Germans.

It's ironic that Germany has assumed its status as richest and most powerful country in Europe after all...but now has to prop up all the weaker elements.

After failing twice with war they've succeeded with peace...sort of.
