I can't say that either side's NBN proposal has been well handled.

It seems to be going mostly into inner city areas (which don't need it) or into swing electorates (who get it as a bribe).

Me being in a safe (25+% margin) seat...I'm probably never getting it.

Neither side handles anything well. The last place I lived, it was on the way to Sandy Beach. Before that, Telstra had installed all the cables and lines underground outside of my home, but did not bring them to the house. So the ability lays in the ground and only a few meters from the house .. when asked why? budget and if I wanted it connected had to pay for the works to bring it to the house. Which would have costs ... who knows what.
