The Divinarie space yacht, known as "The Exhonerator," was a masterpiece of design and technological innovation. Gleaming in opalescent hues, the vessel appeared as if it were woven from the very fabric of the cosmos itself. Its exterior was adorned with intricate patterns of celestial constellations, and its sleek, elongated form exuded an air of elegance and grace.

Within the confines of the The Exhonerator, every detail had been meticulously crafted to offer the utmost comfort and luxury. The interior spaces were adorned with luminescent crystals that bathed the rooms in a soft, ethereal glow. The walls were adorned with exquisite celestial artwork, depicting scenes of cosmic beauty and profound serenity.

As for the young Twi'lek woman, her journey aboard the The Exhonerator had been a surreal experience. She had been picked up on Coruscant, a bustling metropolis, and now found herself in a world of opulence and tranquility. Her journey to the planet Centerra had been swift and seamless, courtesy of the Divinarie's advanced technology.

When she awoke in her luxurious cabin, she was greeted by the gentle hum of the ship's engines and the soft melody of celestial music playing in the background. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort, with a plush bed adorned in silken sheets and a view of the sky beyond the expansive viewport.

Outside her door, a droid of polished chrome and celestial motifs awaited her, offering a tray with a selection of freshly prepared fruits and a goblet of crystal-clear water. The service was impeccable, with an air of grace and hospitality that made her feel like royalty.

Meanwhile, in another part of the Celestial Serenity, Zarael, a captain in the Sunstar Order, stood in a grand and opulent lounge. The lounge was a breathtaking space, with walls adorned in celestial tapestries and a ceiling that replicated the night sky of Centerra itself. The room was filled with exotic flora, their iridescent petals glowing softly in the ambient light.

Zarael was accompanied by his new student, Kreedance, a young teen. The lounge offered a variety of entertainment options, from holographic displays of celestial phenomena to interactive holochess tables.

As they waited, Zarael explained to Kreedance the significance of their meeting with Matthew, the Seneschal of the Sunstar Order. Zarael sought Matthew's blessing for Kreedance's induction into the order, emphasizing the importance of his guidance and approval.

Rayne was not having a very luxurious time. She had just had what was very likely the worst fever dream of her life, very vivid images of a large man covered in shadow. The Twi'lek almost immediately found herself in a bed that didn't belong to her, in a room far more luxurious than any she had ever stepped foot in. She quickly pinched herself just to make sure that the doctor lady Iris Arani Iris Arani hadn't drugged her or something. She hadn't. That left Rayne with some important decisions to make.

The first she wanted to make was scream, but having no vocal cords made that physically impossible, so the urge to do that faded rather quickly. Her vocoder was also nowhere to be seen, lost in... wherever her walker had been left. More anxiety ensued at the thought of losing what was basically her home.

But she couldn't sit there and be a ball of stress forever. She lamented for a moment at the loss of her slippers, but eventually let her socked foot touch the pristine waxed floor. Something felt wrong, almost like she was violating it's clean surface with how dirty she was. The viewport above showing off the sky, the weird mosaics on the wall. It was all so... calm. Rayne couldn't let herself relax though. She knew that nothing like this ever came without a catch.

So she stepped out of her room, immediately greeted by a droid waiter. They very politely offered her a tray of fruit, which Rayne blinked at curiously. Food. It was the one thing that really put her at ease, and here some was. Fresh... glistening...

And just like that, Rayne's true nature slipped into focus. She hated being skeptical of everything, even if it had kept her alive for so long. All she really wanted to do was be happy, be comfortable, and maybe have people who actually cared about her. At the very least she saw an opportunity for two out of three of those. She'd accept the tray, thank the droid with a bow, and slunk back into her suite where she sat back down on her bed and began to eat.

It was amazing. She was in heaven. Rayne was fully convinced now that she was dead.

Kreedence listened to his mentor's explanation, his expression more serious than normal, especially as he chewed nervously on the inside of his cheek. To say the young Divinarie had a lot on his mind would be an understatement. He didn't know much about this Seneschal of the Sunstar Order, Kree had no idea of what to expect, but the thought of having to curry favor with someone of possibly higher status than Zarael made him nervous. It felt almost as if he was starting over once more, the suspicion, the uncertainty and distrust of those around him; Kree was constantly shifting his gaze around the room, even as he sat 'calmly' near Zarael.

It wasn't as if Zarael's reassurance wasn't working, it was just unfortunately a fact of who Kreedence was, of his birth and life up until this point. Even if someone had been vouched for a hundred times over, Kree would draw a line between them, using that distance to form his own opinions. Zarael was no different; it was only up until recently that Kreedence had kept Zarael at arms length. The young Divinarie trusted his mentor now, was a tad more comfortable in his presence; a stark contrast from their very first encounter.

Kree just nodded in understanding as his mentor finished his explanation, though the uncertainty was still crystal clear in his eyes.

"Anything I should.. know of before I meet him?" He was still rather fresh to etiquette, and the last thing he wanted to do was make a fool of himself and shame Zarael.

With a gentle, practiced knock, Sable, the ship's tailor, stood in the hallway just outside Rayne's suite. He was a striking figure, his long pearly white hair cascading down his back, and his piercing pale blue eyes holding an air of elegance.

Upon knocking on the door, Sable inclined his head politely and offered a warm, friendly smile. His voice was as smooth as silk as he introduced himself.

"Good day, madam,"
Sable said with a soft, polite tone. "I hope your arrival aboard the Exonerator has been comfortable thus far. My name is Sable, and I serve as the ship's tailor. If there's anything you require, whether it be fresh attire, adjustments to your current outfit, or any other assistance, please do not hesitate to inform me. Your comfort and satisfaction are of the utmost importance to us."

With a slight bow, he stepped back slightly, allowing Rayne space and time to respond at her own pace. Sable was after all, the epitome of a perfect gentleman, radiating an air of professionalism and courtesy.

Zarael noticed Kreedence's nervousness, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility for his young apprentice. He understood that Kreedence's past had made him cautious, and Zarael appreciated the trust the young Divinarie had placed in him.

As Kreedence asked for guidance before meeting Matthew, Zarael offered a reassuring smile and leaned in slightly to speak in a hushed tone, ensuring their conversation remained private.

"Kree, my dear sweet apprentice," Zarael began, his voice filled with genuine care, "Matthew is a kind and understanding individual. He values sincerity and respect, and I have no doubt he will extend the same courtesy to you. Just be yourself, and remember, a little bit of manners goes a long way. Show respect, maintain eye contact, and speak truthfully. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask me or him directly... and he's my older brother. "

Zarael placed a reassuring hand on Kreedence's shoulder.

Matthew arrived at the luxurious lounge where Zarael and Kreedence awaited him. As he stepped into the room, his presence seemed to fill it with a warm and welcoming energy. His long, flowing white hair cascaded down his back, almost glowing like that of starlight.. His attire was elegant but not overly ostentatious, a reflection of his position as the Seneschal of the Sunstar Order.

He wore a deep blue robe adorned with intricate silver embroidery, a symbol of his rank. Beneath the robe, he donned a finely tailored tunic and trousers in shades of royal blue and silver. The robe's hood was pushed back, revealing his striking features and vibrant blue eyes that seemed to hold the wisdom of the ages.

Matthew's demeanor was friendly and filled with genuine warmth. He approached Zarael with a broad smile, and his voice carried an air of excitement as he greeted his 'baby brother,' the Knight Captain, with a warm hug and a firm pat on the back.

"Zarael, it's wonderful to see you again," Matthew exclaimed, his enthusiasm genuine. "You've grown into a remarkable young man, my friend. I've been hearing about your accomplishments. You make the Sunstar Order proud."

After this heartfelt reunion, Matthew turned his attention to Kreedence, his eyes filled with curiosity and anticipation. He extended a hand toward the young Divinarie with a welcoming gesture.

"And you must be Kreedence," he said with a warm smile. "Zarael has writtenen highly of you. It's a pleasure to finally meet you. Please, tell me about yourself. I'm eager to get to know our newest recruit."

Rayne found herself dazed as a new individual came into the room, causing her to shoot up and become a little more tense. First it was out of fear, partly because she didn't want to be week in front of people, especially not people who had kidnapped her.

But then she found chills running down her spine, heart racing as her face burned up. He was cute. Very cute. That wasn't even mentioning the flowery tone he was speaking in.

Whatever trick this was to charm her into cooperation, it was working.

"Good day, madam," Sable said with a soft, polite tone.

Oh. He wanted to make her... clothes? That was weird. She was still trying to process the wings and everything, so this seemed to be a far more complicated dilemma. Especially considering that she was incapable of speaking. They didn't seem to have the courtesy to grab her vocoder whatsoever.

But there was a droid outside.

The droid waiter would step in, almost like it was trying to imitate it's regular behavior. That was because it was Rayne, puppeting the droid with her mind.

"The young lady would like something breathable with a flowy skirt," the droid stated. "Shiny dangly bits would be prefered."

That was good. A chance to get some actual nice clothes.

Matthew of Valendale Matthew of Valendale Rayne Lo'to Rayne Lo'to

For being Zarael's 'elder brother', he certainly was greeting him in an interesting fashion. It felt more like old friends and comrades than siblings. Maybe Kreedence had misunderstood? The young Divinarie had no time to think about it as Matthew almost immediately turned to him.

Kreed gulped silently, standing and taking Matthew's extended hand, shaking it firmly. It was hard not to be intimidated by this man, despite Zarael's reassurance, if only due to poor Kreedence's short stature.

"It's an honor to meet you, sir." His mouth felt dry, even as he released his hand from the handshake, but he kept eye contact, kept a calm and respectful demeanor all the while. "I am Kreedence," the younger Divinarie confirmed.

"However.. there's not much more to tell past that.." An awkward, uncertain smile crossed Kree's face, and he shot a glance towards Zarael for a moment. "Other than the fact that I'm eternally grateful for the second chance I've been given by Zarael, and-hopefully in the near future- by yourself and the Sunstar Order as well."

Kreedence then bowed, more than just a nod of the head, his own way of showing respect to Matthew.

Sable blinked in surprise as the droid spoke on Rayne's behalf, relaying her clothing preferences. He couldn't help but find it a bit unusual, but he was a professional and accustomed to catering to unique requests. With a small, polite smile, he replied, "Certainly, madam. Breathable fabrics with a flowy skirt and shiny embellishments it shall be."

As Sable began to take Rayne's measurements with meticulous precision, his nimble fingers expertly moved around her, trying his best at making her feel surprisingly at ease despite the bizarre circumstances. He was genuinely focused on his craft, ensuring the attire he would create would not only meet Rayne's preferences but also suit her perfectly.

While Sable worked, he engaged in polite conversation, asking Rayne about her style preferences, color choices, and any specific details she might like to include in her new attire. He seemed genuinely interested in making her feel comfortable and at home aboard the Exonerator,

Once the measurements were complete and the design details had been discussed to Rayne's satisfaction, Sable assured her that he would work diligently to have her new attire ready in no time. With a final, polite nod, he excused himself to his workshop, leaving Rayne alone to even take a peek at some of the few standard enables in this room's closet she might have fun with, advising her that she had some options in the meantime.

It would seem she was not at all trapped or confined to her room and Sable even showed her how to use the interface to contact any of the crew members or servants for any of her whims or needs, and even showed her how to access the directory to help her navigate the ship and showed her the little watch-like devices that could help with such tasks.

Matthew looked down at Kreedance with a warm smile, his eyes twinkling as if sharing an unspoken secret. Gently, he reached out and laid his hand atop the young boy's head, ruffling his hair affectionately.

"Ah, so polite at such a young age! You're quite the endearing charmer, Kreedance,"
Matthew began, his voice tinged with genuine admiration. "There's no debt to be repaid here. Think of this as an opportunity, a stepping stone toward a brighter future. I understand the world must look vast and perhaps even intimidating from where you stand, filled with expectations and demands. But worry not; doing your best is all we can ask of you. If you're striving, you have no reason to worry."

He paused to make sure his words were sinking in, then continued, "And if you ever feel that Zarael has treated you unfairly or unkindly, please don't hesitate to tell me. Such matters will be addressed and remedied immediately."

Matthew leaned back, his hands clasped behind him, the picture of easy authority. "Today, you're my guest aboard the Exonerator, and I would be honored to entertain you. Let's make this a learning experience for both of us. Feel free to ask any questions that come to mind—now's the time to unleash your curiosity. Don't hold back; the only foolish question is the one that's never asked."

Zarael stood a few paces away, arms folded across his chest, as he watched the exchange between Matthew and Kreedance. A wry grin curled the corner of his mouth when Matthew mentioned that Kreedance should feel free to report any unfair or unkind treatment from him.

"Oh, so we're encouraging tattletales now, are we?" Zarael said, his tone laced with jesting affection as he looked down at Kreedance. "Very well, young sir, consider yourself deputized. If I so much as forget to say 'please' or 'thank you,' you have full permission to report me to my esteemed brother."

Turning to Matthew, the Knight Captain's expression softened. "In all seriousness, Matthew, I've grown rather fond of Kreedance. The lad shows promise—more than just promise, actually. I've been considering taking him under my wing. If he's willing, I'd like to apprentice him, squire him, and guide him toward knighthood within the Sunstar Order."

Zarael looked back at Kreedance, his eyes filled with a blend of challenge and promise. "Of course, this path won't be easy, but it's one that offers great rewards. What say you, Kreedance?"

Matthew's eyes twinkled as he listened to Zarael's tongue-in-cheek comment, clearly amused. But as his younger brother spoke earnestly about taking Kreedance as an apprentice, Matthew's expression softened into one of approval and a touch of pride.

"That's a splendid idea, Zarael,"
Matthew said, his gaze shifting between the Knight Captain and Kreedance. "I can't think of a better mentor for a young aspiring knight. The Sunstar Order would be fortunate to have someone capable as Kreedance among its ranks."

Turning to Kreedance, he added, "And you, young man, would be fortunate to learn from someone as experienced as Zarael. The path won't be easy, as he said, but the rewards—both personal and professional—are immeasurable."

He paused and chuckled. "But, do keep in mind, Kreedance—my office is always open should my younger brother forget his manners. I'm pleased to know you'll be keeping an eye on him for me."

The conversation that would be attempted to be held would go not much of anywhere, as Rayne found herself a bit too nervous to speak through the butler droid again, so it was a lot of nodding and shaking her head. It was... weird to have her dimensions measured, or maybe her selfconscious nature made her feel like it was weird. Regardless, she was assured that she could travel the ship freely, and then the cute clothes maker was gone.

So now what?

Part of Rayne wanted to stay in her room and hide out of mistrust, but she was already too far in now. Her heart seemed to patter with excitement at the prospect of some new and luxurious thing to discover simply awaiting her outside the door.

But then again, the bed was so soft. She didn't really want to leave it.

The Twi'lek came to a compramize, grabbing the fuzziest blanket in the room that she wrapped herself up in before nervously venturing out to explore, the soft patter of her un-shoed feet echoing out through the starile halls as she began to make her way out from her suite....

Kreedence flinched when Matthew ruffled his hair, surprise clear at first before it quickly turned into a frown. No sooner had Matthew dropped his hand did the young Divinarie move to fix the tousled mess.

Despite the moment to preen, Kreedence was still wholly focused on the two brothers before him. Zarael had told him to be respectful and polite to Matthew, the Seneschal of the Sunstar Order, leaving Kree with the impression that Matthew was strict and particular. The tone of their meeting was anything but that.

"Why do I feel as if I'm being made to choose between the two of you?" The black haired boy huffed, his words far from serious. He'd relaxed a little, feeling less on edge as the brothers had bantered back and forth before him; though whether that was their usual attitude towards another or simply to make Kreedence feel at ease was unknown to him. If they were going to joke around, he'd try a crack at it too.

"I've already pledged myself to following you, Zarael." Determination burned in his aqua gaze as he fixed it on his mentor. "I don't go back on my word, and I, for one, am tired of running."

"And you, sir,"
Kree's eyes darted to look at Matthew, the very corner of his lips curling slightly into a faint smile. "Make a promising enough offer and I'll bring all the dirt on Zarael you could ever want."

As Rayne stepped out of her suite, wrapped in the fuzziest blanket, she found herself in the Exhonerator's grand hallway. The moment her feet touched the polished marble floors, she was greeted by the breathtaking sight of the ship's magnificent infrastructure. The corridor stretched out before her, bathed in a soft, warm glow emitted by concealed lighting along the walls.

The walls themselves were a marvel of artistry and craftsmanship. They were adorned with intricate golden patterns that seemed to dance in the ambient light. Here and there, discreet alcoves displayed captivating art pieces, holographic displays, and sculptures, all carefully selected to enrich the visual experience of those traveling through the ship.

As she took her first steps, a holographic directory screen materialized before her, hovering at eye level. It was a transparent display that seemed to blend seamlessly with the opulent surroundings. With a gentle touch, Rayne activated the directory, and it responded with a soft, melodic chime.

The directory screen displayed a detailed map of the ship, and the elegant fonts and graphics made it a piece of art in itself. A digital cursor blinked invitingly, awaiting her command. It listed several of the ship's locations, each accompanied by a brief description:

Ambassador Suites/Havens: The pinnacle of luxury for distinguished guests.

Zarael offered a wry grin, his eyes sparkling with a touch of mischief. "Ah, the beauty of this arrangement is that you don't have to choose. I'll teach you the intricacies of the constellations and more. Matthew and I have a habit of pooling our wisdom, you see."

Matthew's laughter filled the air, a melodious sound that seemed to invite warmth. "Bribery does have its merits, but I prefer the currency of merit over mere flattery. So, is there anything you're curious about concerning our Order? Questions often pave the first steps toward mastery, after all."

Options.

There were so many options. Rayne found herself almost completely overwhelmed by the ammount of locations present on the directory. Her eyes almost immediately settled on the Balroom. It felt... unreal, like the plot of one of the holo-dramas she had binged. What she wouldn't give for an experience like that. And almost immediately Rayne decided against such a thing. Maybe she was a little too much of a peasant for that room...

The Twi'lek's eyes settled on the Lounge and Bar next. That seemed cozy enough, perhaps something that she could visit without any kind of extreme imposter syndrome. Lounges were suppost to be simple and welcoming, right? That surely wouldn't be overwhelming.

So off she went, hopefully not to be lost in a ship she could never find her way out of.

"Questions about the Order...?" Kreedence frowned in thought. He'd been thinking about it lately, about the order, what he might want to do in the future as a part of the order, anything that confused him. At that current moment, however, he came up short, unable to think of anything in regards to the order that he might have been curious about.

"Actually, the only thing I'm curious about right now is whether or not you two are biological siblings." He'd grown more comfortable around the two of them, clearly, as he glanced between the two curiously. "If it's alright for me to ask?"

"Because you said one thing, but your actions and how you've treated each other says another."

“We’re more akin to half siblings as we share the same mother.” Matthew answered truthfully.

Zaral smiled at this. “You’re quite perceptive little one. Often times manners and carrying a polite conversation make communication more of a game when you want to say something but it would be rude to do so for example. I think you will learn to ‘play’ easily enough.”

“Ah, good morning. I trust you rested well miss?”

The man she found standing before her in the lounge was a giant. Rayne was, of course, no slouch when it came to height. An encounter like this always made her a little more timid. The giant wings were another thing that very easily caught her attention. There was another individual present, a young boy. He was much shorter, and Rayne had to bite back the urge to absolutely lose her mind over how much of a cute little man he was and give him pats on the head.

No, instead she needed to find a way to respond to what she was being asked. There wasn't a droid in sight for her to take over, which was not ideal. There was no way these people knew sign.

So Rayne simply nodded, giving a nervous smile as she continued to stand, unsure of what to do with herself.

That was a good idea.

Kreedence frowned, squinting up at Zarael as he thought aloud. "I feel as if that might be a dangerous idea...." A mischievous grin crossed his face a second later. "I look forward to it." The young Divinarie chuckled at the idea, of using his words one way when they truly mean another. It was an amusing thought to be sure.

The thought didn't last long as Matthew's words caught Kree's attention. His long braid flew through the air as he turned his head quickly, a perplexed expression across his face. A newcomer? A twilek? Who was she? Kreedence cocked his head to the side a bit, much like a curious bird would, watching Rayne for a moment, well, up until brunch was mentioned.

"Brunch?" There was clear surprise in his voice, but it still held notes of the curiosity and confusion from the newcomer.

In the Exonerator's formal dining room, an air of elegance and tranquility pervaded. The room, bathed in soft, natural light filtering through large windows, offered a panoramic view of the breathtaking expanse of the sky outside. The decor was a tasteful blend of modern and classic, with polished wooden surfaces complementing the sleek, metallic accents of the spacecraft.

Matthew, ever the gracious host, ensured his guests were comfortably seated at a large, oval table. The chairs, upholstered in a rich, dark fabric, provided a luxurious yet cozy seating. The table itself was set impeccably with fine china, sparkling crystal glassware, and gleaming silverware, each piece reflecting the ambient light in a dance of shimmering reflections.

Bow and Vincent, were present and waiting their guests.

As the guests settled in, the servants, moving with practiced ease, presented them with menus. The menus were a work of art in themselves, featuring a sleek design with a touch of elegant flair of rose motifs. The list of dishes was wide and varied show casing the culinary team's creativity, offering a fusion of intergalactic cuisine with classic Centerran favorites.

To start, each guest was served a glass of lemon water, infused with fresh mint and chilled with ice. The drink was a refreshing palate cleanser, its subtle flavors a prelude to the culinary delights that awaited.

Matthew took a seat and offered Rayne a curious glance. " Would you like a data pad or white board to write with?" Matthew asked. "I'm not sure every one here knows basic sign. "

Zarael, with a demeanor that seamlessly blended authority and warmth, turned his attention to Kreedance after expressing his gratitude to Vincent for pouring his glass. His eyes, reflecting a encouragement, watched Kreedance intently. The young apprentice, under Zarael's tutelage, had been learning the finer aspects of etiquette and decorum, essential for a knight's holistic development.

"Like we practiced before, see if you remember your table placements," Zarael encouraged, his voice carrying a note of gentle challenge.

"I'm not sure every one here knows basic sign. "

D A T A P A D

Rayne spelled this out with individual letters with her hands, hoping that the large winged man knew some sign as indicated by his statement. She sat down sort of awkwardly, waiting to be delivered a means of communication. In the meantime she was kind of just there, left to observe the really fancy setting that she had found herself in.

Which begged the question, why had she been picked up in the first place? She had been in her walker, albeit sick. She had sorta just been plucked out of her home.

The other winged man, an observation that was getting confusing at this point, spoke to the boy about proper etiquette, which only made her feel more out of place. All of this was just so... weird. As much as she liked being pampered, maybe she just wanted to be on her way and get back to her walker...

Kreedence narrowed his eyes slightly at Zarael, doing it just quickly enough so that it would (hopefully) not be noticed by others. "Remember my placement.." He spoke softly, more like a grumble under his breath. Regardless, he focused his whole being on the dining placement that was set before him. Bright teal eyes looked over each utensil with careful thought, well, until he was given the menu. Even for being a Divinarie, he couldn't recognize a majority of the dishes on the menu.

His focus was easily broken when Matthew spoke up, pulling his gaze to the Twilek that sat with them. A data pad? Basic sign? Wait, could she not speak? Kree averted his gaze, not wanting to make her uncomfortable by staring, though she'd certainly piqued his interest a little.

"Sir.." Kreedence turned towards Zarael, attempting to distract himself until the means of communication arrived. "Could you please explain this? I've never heard of this dish before; what is it?" And he pointed at a random one on the menu, well, one of the ones he didn't know that is.
