Zarael kept his tone gentle and encouraging, especially towards Kreedance. "It's basically a breaded and fried potato. Hard to go wrong with that," he began, a hint of enthusiasm in his voice for the simple yet delightful culinary creation. "It's been cut into a pom-pom shape for a fun texture," he added.

As he spoke, Zarael demonstrated setting his own place with a practiced ease. He unfurled the heavy handkerchief, and laid it across his lap with a fluid motion.

Turning his attention back to the menu, Zarael pointed out a unique feature to Kreedance. "The little text sections on the side explain all the ingredients in the dish," he said, guiding Kreedance's gaze to the written blurbs that accompanied each menu item.

Zarael's finger traced along the menu, drawing attention to the tea section, which boasted a variety of floral options. The inclusion of such flavors spoke of a menu that was carefully curated to offer a sensory journey as much as a culinary one. The floral theme extended even to the desserts, with rose flavors making a prominent appearance, including the use of rose hips. "They have lots of wonderful teas filled with vitamine C. The pictures here wshow you what you can exspect your item to look like when you get it. "

Matthew moved to fetch a simple data pad and switched it to work so that it have a vocalizing setting on for anything that was written. He then gently offered it to Rayne Lo'to Rayne Lo'to

"Here you go. I'm so sorry about that. " Matthew added.

"Here you go. I'm so sorry about that. "

Matthew didn't need to change any settings. As soon as he passed over the data pad, Rayne wormed her way into the device, taking control of it.

"Thank you," A deeper masculine voice spoke, but a frown came to her face. That didn't seem good. "I can work with this," was the sentance that followed, shifting to a softer feminine tone. "Uh... hello. I'm Rayne."

The Twi'lek woman took a moment to breath before collecting her thoughts. There was a lot that she could say now, and most certainly a lot that she wanted to ask. She just had to make sure that she shared this information in the best way possible...

"So... Where are we, how did I get here, is my stuff okay, am I still sick, do I have to pay money for staying here, are you a bird?" Was she missing anything else? Her heterochromatic eyes shifted to Kreedence for a moment. "And can I adopt the child?"

It was probably a no on that last one, but she couldn't help herself.

Kreedence followed Zarael's lead, looking through the menu. Honestly, the floral teas didn't really sing to him, though the potato dish they spoke of previously did sound tempting... He was just setting his own napkin out, though it was partially folded so as to not slide off his lap (what with his short stature and all), before the new voice chimed in. The sudden robotic, masculine tone briefly spooked Kree, causing the feathers on his wings to puff out as he jumped a little in his seat. The embarrassment he felt afterward when he realized it was just the Twi'lek speaking through the datapad was a little mortifying, his feathers quickly laying back down as he tried to pretend it never happened. It didn't last long.

"Wait... what?" Kreedence looked very confused. Adopt? Him? They'd barely met ten minutes prior, if that, and had barely exchanged actual greetings. She wanted to adopt him. Adopt. Him... Smol bird boy could not compute.
