Madlad automatically starts the defensive as the nightstalkers find them. Madlad doesn't have built in flashbangs, but it has the ability to change the color of it's singular camera esque eye. Thus, it changes the eye color to a bright white, and then back to dark red, over and over to serve as a makeshift flashbang right into their eyes as it opens fire with it's 8-M slugthrower, aiming for the body and neck. One shot to the neck from the droid's extremely accurate aim would be enough to completely sever the head from that body due to the thin neck basically being destroyed by an 8 gauge shell. Madlad would do this while always making sure to position itself between the enemy, and the medic it's supposed to guard.
Talohn takes up the same strategy as his droid companion, putting himself in between the beasts and the demolitionist as they make their way to the hill. With the way those heads move, Talohn's TDW has no chance of making direct head impact, thus he aims for the lower body and the legs in order to slow down the enemy. Once the enemy is slowed by getting shot in the legs, he would finish it off with shots to the body. They may have blaster resistant skin, but live rounds are likely to pierce their skin easier. For any enemies that happen to get too close for comfort, Talohn will pull out The Mule from his back hip, and open fire, the spread at that range likely making a shot to the viper beast's neck unmissable, and likely to be devastating due to the beast of a sawn off shotgun being loaded with literal grape shot rounds. Both Talohn and Madlad follow to the hill, bute they do follow a bit slower to protect the important people they are supposed to keep alive.
