Into the Void

Aerion Ivelisse

Young Ivelisse's eyes settled on the prototypes as they entered the secondary hangar, though his expression didn't change when he regarded them. Aerion didn't get surprised easily. So his light blue gaze went over the prototypes and then looked to his side at [member="Choli Vyn"].

"Something like that," he said in regards to her first question. Apart of the Galactic Republic Navy? Less of that, and more apart of the Military as a whole, not allowing himself to be restricted in one capacity when the entirety of the force required guidance, though his tenure wasn't as long as he would've liked, or so he'd have Aerion believe.

"Tython," he said simply. Jedi Homeworld planet. Most people knew what the planet was, few knew what had happened to it. Aerion was determined to touch ground there and purge all evil there... Of course, he expected to find his home in ruins, if he was even capable of doing so. "Master Bishop, was his name," he said with a casual shrug of his shoulders. Doubtful, was he that she would know who he was.

"Did you have any anyone in the One Sith and Galactic Republic's War?"

Oh wow, Tython. That surprised Choli. She hadn't met anyone from Tython yet. At least, not who lived there. She heard stories of course, and Chloe had ancient Jedaii texts, tombs, and a couple of ancient holocrons she had let the young Rogue study.

Word had it that Tython itself had suffered terribly under the rule of the One Sith. The sort that had many a spacer warn others to stay away from the former home planet of the Jedi.

Master Bishop didn't click any bells for Choli. While she had traveled from one end of the 'verse on the Aurora and met many Masters, one with the name of Bishop was not one of them.

"Me?" the One Sith and Galactic Republic war? That was a bit more complicated. Coming to a stop under the prototype, Choli gave a slight grimace.

"Not exactly." she admitted, pulling out her datapad to bring up the pre-flight checklist for the craft. She had a special encrypted red datachip that connected to her datapad, allowing her rare use of a particular set of schematics for this check. Finding the right encrypted ruleset, she read through them, all the while answering [member="Aerion Ivelisse"] 's question.

"I spent most of my time on a ship coming and going places than actually in the war." she clarified.

"Grew up on Tatooine, spent some time with the Jawa clans and a Tusken Raider camp or two."

Aerion noted the slight grimace on [member="Choli Vyn"]'s face, and a thick brow raised in question. But soon after she gave an explanation of some sort. So she had grown up on Tatooine? Suppose that explained her pigmentation, he supposed. Two suns and all that heat weren't going to leave you as a pasty white girl.

"Oh," he said. Jawas. Never met one. Probably never would, not that it'd make much of a difference in his life. Scavengers weren't of use to him.

"How did you get here then? And to be a Rogue?"

Well, that was a loaded question. Not to mention, had a heck of a backstory to it. Flipping her servodriver in hand, Choli gave a cluck of her tongue.

"Short version or long?" Granted, she quickly followed with, " Long version might be a tad boring, eff, why, eye."

A half grin and the girl went on to climb the prototype. She was looking to remove the engine panel and then check inside to make sure nothing was loose.

There was a huff as Aerion turned his head around to see his astromech droid rolling up to him, likely beeping profanities at him per usual.

Soon enough it was rolling around him to nudge his leg into the direction of his Stealth-X.

"Give me the long version when we've deployed," he said as he started backing away from the prototype.

And then he was swinging up and onto the Stealth-X some metres away with a force aided hop, and an inadvertent flex of his muscles as he pulled himself up onto the hull and then into the cockpit. Once inside, he saw the pre-flight check had already been completed and he hooked the commlink into his ear.
