Into the woods

"Mr.[member="Jak Sandrow"] ."

She responded playfully, having opened an eye and when she noticed the corner of his mouth twitch. She contain a little giggle before closing her eyes once more and taking a deeper breath to feel the force around her. "It is warm." She started off. "As if a little candle lit within my being." She took another breath and sank deeper in and felt the force surround her. "It is brisk and gives a light but overwhelming sensation..."

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Alright," Jak said. "To give you a sense of what using the Force will be like for you, I'm going to lift a rock again. Try to sense how the Force moves... then try to duplicate that."

For himself, it was like cupping water, then moving the water around as needed.

The rock lifted, and he could sense her watching him in the Force. "Your turn."

[member="Lily Hex-Volsh"]

She felt the force course through her then through him and finally around the rock from him. She took in a deeper breath and did as she did, feeling she move through the force. She raised a hand letting the force flow, the rock shook lightly before rising up little by little until it reached the height of his stone.

She continued to practice for the next few hours and began to get the hang of things. First it was the the one stone then she moved to two and then three keeping them elevated in sync with one another. She kept her eyes closed and controlled her breathing but spoke lightly. "H-How am I doing?" She asked [member="Jak Sandrow"] .

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
"Just use it over and over again," Jak said simply. "Like a muscle, the more you use it, the better you'll be with it.

"And not everyone's the same," he continued. "Some people have a limited Force capability, and only become a Knight, at most... they just can't go any higher."

[member="Lily Hex-Volsh"]

"Oh my...The force is limitless, it is one with all, at least that is what I was taught...How could it be limited to each person?" She asked her curiousity peaked by the big plant man.

[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Well this was where it got into science-y shi

"Every living thing in the galaxy has a certain amount of... well, little creatures inside them. They're called midi-chlorians, and, depending on how many someone has, there can be any number of them. In the days of the Original Republic, all the way back in 33 BBY, the average for a Jedi Master was about 17,000 midi-chlorians each, but today that number has become average for Force-users. I don't know how many you have... but time will tell."

Leaning back against a tree, he sighed. "Things are slightly different for me."

[member="Lily Hex-Volsh"]

And here she though the jedi were mythical being with powers unknown to science. She was completely wrong this whole time, for once she was speechless. "What....Huh? MY COOLNESS COMES FROM CREATURES LIVING INSIDE ME?!" She asked shocked. "That's....Kinda cool within itself...I guess? Ish?" She pouted a bit, that was kinda lame but it would not make her think anything less of jedi or other force-user. "Bleh, we're still pretty magical. Bet I got like...A billion or something, you'll see...." She blinked and looked at [member="Jak Sandrow"] intently. "Oh? How so, Mr. Plant man?"

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
He snorted a bit at the 'billion' remark. He had never met anyone quite that powerful... Still, you never know....

"Well, it's different for me. In order to use the Force, I have to be a plant man."

He gestured to himself. "This isn't regular me."

The green of his skin melted into himself, the one or two leaves in his hair fluttered to the ground, and he stood before her, still the same size, but much more human-like.

"This is the regular me."

[member="Lily Hex-Volsh"]

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
He shrugged, grinning, as his skin blossomed into green again. "Yeah.... a friend of mine doesn't think so. Then again, he's only human."

Stretching out his hand, a flower blossomed on the palm. "He doesn't see what I can see."

[member="Lily Hex-Volsh"]

"Well, your friend, whom ever they may be." She said in a sweeter tone. "Should open their mind, it is a big galaxy after all, different species, animals and even the darkness has it's unique beauty." The young girl smiled and lightly touched the flower that blossomed in his palm. "I'll say it again, Plant man, I wish to see what you do."

[member="Jak Sandrow"]

"It will be my training. To understand another persons world, I will come to understand the force deeper and the abilities that it may unfold." She said with a light giggle. "There is alot for me to learn from you, Plant man."

[member="Jak Sandrow"]

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Jak shrugged. "Alright, then... Try to feel what I'm doing with the Force, as best as you can."

He started small, a fruit blossoming out of his hand. Creating it to be slightly tart, but with a sweet aftertaste, he picked it from his palm and lightly tossed it to her. "It's edible. And don't worry, it's not gross."

Then he stepped back, the tree behind him lifting him with large oaken branches. Vines sprung up from the ground to mesh together in the air just in front of him. Within moments, a rough shape formed, focusing into a triangular shape. The triangle's base bulged, and a small projection formed on top. Within a few seconds, a green, very detailed Empire Star Destroyer 'hovered' in front of Jak, connected with a few vines to the surrounding trees. He slowly moved to the forest floor with it, settling it down in front of [member="Lily Hex-Volsh"].

"And then there's things I can do...." he continued, his arm shifting and melting into an organic flechette launcher, spinning around and firing five or so long, skinny projectiles into the bark. "...like attack."

His arm melted back to normal, and then his skin grew brown, and he began to bulk up, forming large chunks of bark all over him. Once he was finished, he stood another half a foot taller, well-armored with dense bark. ".... or defense."

The bark clattered off him, and he hit the ground lightly, barely breathing harder than normal.

"Your thoughts?"
