Introducing: The Jedi Alliance and Council.

The Jedi Alliance and Council.

Long as the tale of Jedi in the galaxy been difficult. Jedi focusing on different aspects of the code and the approach to the galaxy, and very few had this discussion elevated to ‘what are Jedi doing for the galaxy’. Those times are no longer. The Jedi Alliance and Council work to ensure that the various sects of Jedi have their freedoms, but the greater message of the Jedi are not left to the wayside.

In the past, in-fighting and discussions on dogma and approach have been cause for schisms and division. Following the persistence of Jedi Master Coren Starchaser, these sects of Jedi are beginning to change. They will remain the same Orders they always have, as a space-zebra cannot change its stripes, but a unifying push, understanding that Silver Jedi, Green Jedi, Jedi Covenant, are all unified in their end goal. The freedom and peace of the galaxy.

Set up as an advancement of the Jedi Academy Network, the Jedi Alliance is the organization from which the larger sects of the Jedi Order are united. Remaining within their own drives and focuses, the Alliance strives to ensure cooperation between the factions. All of this is lead by the Council.

The Jedi Alliance Council is a living group, changing in size, number, and members, but one thing remains the same: the focus on the greater path of what it means to be a Jedi.

Containing elected or designated representatives of the great Jedi Orders of the galaxy, the Council meets to aid the Orders by providing connections and support where it is needed. Is one Order focusing on exploration of a new world, and needs protection from unseen forces? The Council will provide the necessary aid. Is one Order assisting a military to overthrow Sith rule from a planet, but has little knowledge on the proper care of wounded and the displaced? The Council will arrange for this support.

Structure & Hierarchy:
The Purpose of the Council.

The Jedi High Council are the coordinators of the Jedi Alliance (Not to be mistaken for an Authoritative presence over other factions). This Council is made up of leading and high profile Jedi Knights or Masters from their respective Jedi Organizations, those that are experienced and willing to come together with their peers and co-ordinate Jedi Order Operations, Planning or Events relevant to the Jedi across the Galaxy.

The Goal of the Jedi High Council is to advocate for all Jedi to be able to come together, regardless of their differing doctrines, and to promote as greater presence of the Light in the Galaxy to counter the Darkside of the Force.

One of the biggest misconceptions of Jedi in the Galaxy is that they all follow the same doctrine. As Role-models, the Jedi Alliance High Council are responsible for encouraging equality across all branches of Jedi, understanding that they all have their good qualities, their struggles and inevitably all work to promote peace and security for the Galaxy, in their varying ways. Jedi are not to judge other Jedi, and the High Council are advocates for this value.

When it comes to major decisions that impact on all varying Organizations or Branches of the Order involved within the Jedi Alliance, a vote will be called in which majority rule is implemented. In the case that the decision does not meet the ideologies of a specific branch of the Jedi Alliance, they may refrain from participation as the High Council does not seek to govern across other factions, merely co-ordinate and help plan the possible.

Currently, those on the Council are:
