About those stealth ships, and this is just me being curious, did you send all 2000 of those boarding troops in them? If you did, you just launched over 300 ships since they fit 6 men each, which is a little hard to miss even with stealth suites hiding them on scanners.

Yep, there'll not get too far before being spotted. They are essentially one way dart transports with a good stealth suite. Picture 6 guys packed onto a bike.

He did three things to assist.

Spread them out to not cluster their signature.
Use the sun to try and mask any resultant energy signature
Put them out of range of the main fight, using that as a distraction.

But for sure, even stealthy tiny tin cans if there is 300 of them or so they are getting spotted, more so when they actually move towards their target, shots are going to hit them indirectly even before that.

Seems logical to me, your planning on losses but their will be so many that some will make it to target. Probably at 1/3 to 2/3rds strength.
