Sorry for the holdup, I'm waiting for Arya to respond to my transmission. She has requested OOCly that we target other ships, but since I've currently asked her a question regarding the cruiser I don't want to suddenly ignore that plot point. If she doesn't respond within a few hours, I will simply state in the narrative of my post that she replied by saying what she said in the PM, but I don't really want to put words in the mouth of another person's character unless it becomes necessary to do so.
Also, please note, I'll consider you my first officer, so you don't just have to man weapons. Most likely I'd delegate tasks to you and you would micromanage all the people manning that station, or I might send you on other assignments around the ship. If you want to just take the role of weapons officer that's fine, but please understand that you could do a lot of other things besides.
