Invasion of Ord Mirit OOC [GR vs. OS]

[member="Elian Sarcos"]

You're in Objective B, Secure Fuel/Supply Depot: The Galactic Republic must seize control of the Supply Depot and OS must successfully defend Supply Deopt through PVP only to determine victory.

If you're not fighting, you're not helping the OS to win. There is only one course to determine victory there, just one.

Seizing control of the fuel depot is (almost) irrelevant to the objective, merely the staging ground. The objective of seizing control of the fuel depot is an artifact of results of judging of PvP duels, by the Faction Admin of the OS and GR. If you go there with pure objective on mind, you won't impact the objective in the way you intend.

edit: Unless you meant the part about not helping the OS, then yeah...we get it.

I'm quite aware that the "objective" there is the PvP fights. I'm just a bad, bad acolyte, as established with my goals in my biography and the fact I'm currently trying to undermine OS control of Csilla.

A member of the One Sith actively working against it in some potentially meaningful way? Hmmm...

I assume you all worked everything out before hand...and I'm sort of tired but...

There is also no swapping of NPCs between chars.

I know you're commander of the army and what not but I think, for the sake of things not being confusing, it would be best if everyone posted their own locations and npcs in their own post. Instead of one giant aggregate.

They all will be in their posts. I only made the addition for that initial posting so you guys would have a one source reference for our force composition.

Also, in case you hadn't notice, we do have mingled forces, mainly in the form of writers' Infantry riding in other writers' vehicles, but this is only for travel purposes and no writer will be writing for forces not listed under them.

Your personal objective is interesting and all, but it's something you should have tried to work into this battle by coordinating with your fellow OS writers first, rather than spring it on them after the battle has begun.

This undermines the spirit of collaborative role play, and is not fair to the writers who supported your involvement on the assumption that you wanted to help them. The difference is they didn't know OOC, and when you spoke to me about it, I thought they were aware.

I would recommend giving it your all for them this go around and coordinate your character's subversion into a story at a later date.

All they had to do was look at my biography, [member="Ali Hadrix"]. It's been there since before the invasion started and before I was initially told I couldn't join. I'm not compromising my character for the sake of OOC. All story contributes to the story. I don't consider invasions as non-cannon to my character so I'm not going to make him act differently because of it. As stated in my bio, people won't like what he does. That's part of why I pre-established his motives/goals. Besides, how do you coordinate the fact that you are betraying them? Not to mention the fact that as soon as I "coordinate" it someone will magically know about it ICly. I know how these things work.

Besides, nobody here even knows what I'm going to do yet. Who's to say?
