Invasion of Ord Mirit OOC [GR vs. OS]

[member="Alva Calvarona"]

Blasters and Napalm work very differently.

Blaster bolts themselves carried no heat. On impact, however, their displacement of matter produced kinetic energy that causes heat
The bursts merely caused a huge amount of heat to be produced that they'd melt through the surface in a split second. Whereas napalm burns for hours, that heat like any energy will transfer and turn the vehicle into an oven. Not to mention the napalm it carries will severely alter the nearby environment by depleting oxygen in the air, causing hypothermia, and self-perpetuating winds of up to 110km/h. (sauce)

Just making sure this is kept in mind, napalm isn't something that you can forget about as things go on -- it sticks, it burns, and it causes big problems for those who are too close for comfort.

7. We ask that for any NPC use that any characters who use them write down their exact numbers to begin with and post it clearly in each and every post.
You have already been asked to adhere to the above rule.
Your latest post violates it again, and you did not mark the change in your location despite moving in your post; the headers are there to provide accurate information at a glance, and it would be appreciated if you edited in said information.

Here is a link to the AT-FAT. These bad boys, while cool, do not have shielding.

Also, for reference for anyone else ([member="Alva Calvarona"]):

This is what those Yaret-Kor are firing. I get that I targeted three squares instead of one, but these munitions are also semi-explosive given that they are made out of molten lava and erupt upon impact. 300 Meters across, 300 meters up, that's not a lot of room for play, not to mention the damage from canyon instability and tumbling rocks.

I did take damage from debris in my post. I identified your attack appropriately I didn't ignore it. The canyon walls themselves also are a barrier in the right places. While as I said I didn't take a direct hit, I did acknowledge your effort and fairness in spreading the attack out by taking hits from falling debris. This was already in my post.

One of the plasma blasts impacted the canyon wall above the AT-FAT trudging along beside the Imperial Captain's own, causing an explosion which rained bits of the stonework and rock onto the armor the heavy walker, the clanging sounds making the crew within jump, though they smiled nervously after. So long as they didn't take a direct hit they would be alright, and while the main column was following the path, they were moving past the initial shots as they made progress.
I really love the pic though. Cool cannon!

I'll slit his throat nice and deep should the opportunity present itself... though making a quadriplegic of him could be infinitely more entertaining.
