Invasion of Prakith

Ladies and gentlemen, as the military chief of staff I am empowered by our faction leader to launch invasions. I guess this needs to be stated between now and then: no Dominions will be launched until the conclusion of this counter-Invasion.

I am currently going to the leadership of the One Sith to discuss basic rules of engagement for this Invasion. I'll follow with more information as soon as I have it.

We're going on the offensive, ladies and gentlemen. Steel your nerves and steady your hands.

War is coming.

About time.

If you choose One Sith over Republic - You just prove the point that you have absolutely zero desire to see the Republic succeed.

I mean we can always go back to the "Let's be a Rebellion vote..." doesn't everyone want to be a Rebel! - Edited in to make sure people know....

I AM JUST JOKING

Thats an incredibly close minded viewpoint of RP'ing in general and you guys should be rather ashamed of yourselves for trying to guilt people.

Some people write for story, not just winning.

I chose to fight for the Republic in Manaan because i thought there was great opportunity to push Lira's story into something amazing. Either she would succeed and help bring down one of the greatest Assets the OS had or she would fight and lose to a Sith Lord and gain some new perspective. It was great story either way. I did it even though i have not one, but two One Sith characters that were well suited for the invasion.

The fact that you guys are displaying such acid and bile just because people might want to write for the other side to advance their characters is absolutely disgusting and a massive turn off to further write for the Republic in any sort of invasion or skirmish.

Jack Rand

Captain of The Love Boat
Yeah, I'm playing as Jack because I feel like he can give and take more away from this than Viktor did. Viktor still has a lot to do before I feel like he can properly benefit from a full event. I'll probably try to get him better as alchemy and as a commander-type or maybe just have him become a puppeteer. Jack on the other hand I love to do everything with, so I'll be using him for events and such.

I should probably figure out what Rogue Regiment can actually do and what assets it has available.

I agree completely.

People will RP for the Republic IF and only if they want to. Abrasive comments will not help in this.

Either way, let's move past this....

*raises an eyebrow*

Actually, at one point, people did it in spite of me cause I was a jerk about pressing people to write as Republic characters. So please, spare me that lecture. And let me note, I learned my lesson from it.

Second, I was only kidding because of that incident. I don't care if people write a fish out of water or a bacterial-strain that somehow infects every person present.

Finally, with the events that are in motion as it stands - The ASA/OS merger on the horizon and Kashyyyk on the agenda for an Invasion, I believe it's a mad dash scramble to save what people have worked hard to write into.

No one is getting butt-hurt or vile about anything. I believe it's all in good fun.

What you choose to write as your alternates, and many others who read these forums, is your business and choice.

No one is guilt-tripping anyone into doing anything. I find that to be insulting in it's own right.

Here is the bottom line.

As long as you have fun.

Say its all in good fun however much you want, but at a certain point sarcasm and joking goes out the window and turns into plain bitterness. Perhaps if you have already been through this you should know better than to say things like this at all, especially in a place where tone is actually hard to read.
