Invest In My U.S.S. Enterprise [Camellia Swift]

HK-36

The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
[member="Camellia Swift"],

Although the droid may not have always looked like a proper leader of the Barony, after all he could be spotted more going off on some adventures, attempting to woo some unfortunate woman, or joining battles to fight for the grandeur old views of chivalry in his personal crusade against the Sith, but it seems that nowadays more than ever he played the part of a politician and diplomat.

For after the rather disappointing conference where alliance to defeat the Sith was to be discussed seems communication between factions has broken down, but the machine remained hopefully, and he decided to start taking matters into his own hands. Well his and Siobhan Kerrigan, for the grand cooperation he was attempting to built was to be raised on the foundations laid in the Coalition between the Barony of Abregado and Kaeshana Confederation, so called the Last Alliance of Elves and Droids. Or just the Last Alliance, to not sound too inclusive.

Anyway, it was during the Conference that the droid noticed Camellia, a representative of the Rendili Stardrive, as passionate and idealistic in her views as most of the younger beings in this Galaxy were. But it was that sort of beings HK needed, strong, passionate, willing to work for peace in this Galaxy, besides, ships were always useful.

And so, he has summoned miss Camellia Swift to meet with him on Abregado-Rae, he awaited her arrival in a more secure portion of Capital City Spaceport from where he would take her on a barge ride along with his guards to discuss the business between them.

To be perfectly honest Camellia wasn't so certain the conference had really failed so much as it was to be expected. After all, it was exactly how things played out under the stringent ways of politics and diplomacy. Earnest discussion with rationale and logic was what really got things done. It was all rather dismal that things had not gone the way anyone had hoped, but considering the problems of a large scale alliance it wasn't a shock. Culture, Infrastructure, Economics, Social Construction, Government, Representation. Every galactic power had these thing to consider when thinking about the possibility of being able to mesh with another faction. It would be too difficult to get people who had different views on how to live and what was good and right and what wasn't to work and live together for an extended period.

Like maybe trying to stick a Vong and a Droid in an apartment together, or an Echani and a Mandolorian, or a Jedi and Sith. They just wouldn't see eye to eye even if you could keep them from fighting, there would be an underlying unrest. One would have to conquer the rest, or people would have to stop caring about being different. Honestly the latter didn't seem so hard unless one's goal really was to conquer the rest. Something the Sith seemed intent enough on that everyone else really should have banded together. If at the very least to take back what they had conquered.

So when she received the strange request from the oddity that was HK-36, who had also been at the conference and been quite informative about the enemy, to come meet him on a matter of business, Camellia was quite perplexed. Still, she made sure she would arrive on the time given to her, making her way to the planet aboard one of the Rendili Defense Fleet's refitted Hammerhead Cruisers, just to be safe. Though she was shuttled down to the surface in one of the Security Shuttles it had on board. Which she would exit, along with a pair of Rendili Defense Force soldiers in their RCA gear, and likely see HK nearby(?) "I must admit I hadn't really expected to get such an invitation after appearing at the conference."

"Yet that conference is specifically why I sent you an invitation, miss Swift."

The droid along with his envoy of copies would bow to her in a deep greeting,

"It is a pleasure to see you answer my call, I hope your journey went well."

He would motion for her to follow him while he turned towards the entrance into spaceport building.

"I believe you realize already what the nature of this meeting is. What the Conference attempted to do has not failed yet, an Alliance is forming, we shall discuss more on the barge outside, where it is safe to speak."

He would disappear into the doorway of the steel gray building, golden details and ornamentation of bronzium decorating the archway of simple mechanical door that was their gateway. Inside there would be similar decor, simple industrial steel structure of the spaceport was not gleaming with golden-colored bronzium ornamentation, the sign of prosperity in the current reign of machine over the planet.

The deep greeting was somewhat awkward for Camellia seeing as how it felt more than was needed for her station, mostly arriving as the head and representative of a business, not a world, and certainly not as some kind of hero or nobility. Nonetheless she bowed slightly back, though her own escorts did not and kept to nodding. "My journey was indeed well. No disruptions or even bad news along the way, though things have not been going well enough recently anyway."

Following as the droid motioned for her to follow, Camellia actually wasn't certain why she had been called after the conference. She did indeed have some assumptions, but she wasn't sure what exactly for in the end. In fact if the young Rendili woman were to be asked for her best guess it would either be for some form of business with Rendili Stardrive after taking a liking to her claims about new warship designs being produced soon, or it would have to do with the subject of the Sith the conference had been on about.

Needless to say when the mention of the alliance was brought up though Camellia hadn't expected that. Surely the Chancellor of the Republic would be a better person to call on? Or at the very least where Rendili was concerned its Senator or Arch-Provost? "Alright . . . . i must say though I am rather perplexed at my being brought in then."
