STANDARD FEATURES
The Revenant TIE/rc Reconnaissance Starfighter is fitted with modern software and hardware up to technological standards of the time, with comparable analogs to other standard systems used in starfighters like it. Its systems are easily updated to match improvements made in the future.
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Stealth Suite:
The Imperial Revenant-Series Twin Ion Engine production line was designed and manufactured by Revenant State Industrial, intended to highly resemble the Galactic Empire of old. The symbolism of the TIE was refurbished and updated, but as the Revenant is meant to be the haven of the Imperial Lifestyle, its aesthetic choices needed to represent the New Order as well. With classical cockpit design also came necessary improvements to visibility, using one way view panels to the sides and rear as well as view screens to provide a pilot with a more comprehensive, less obscured view of space.
Unlike its ancient predecessors it features a built-in hyperdrive and deflector shield, updated drive units, weapons, and software to put it on par with modern bombers such as the Y-Wing. Minor stealth systems like drive bafflers, sensor-reducing hull coatings, degaussing, and other systems have been included in the design to allow squadrons of TIE’s to approach a system or ship undetected until they reach engagement ranges if they fly quiet. Usually, this requires the fighter to keep its weapons and shields powered down, of course they are still visible and so at a certain point it doesn’t prevent detection or notice.
The TIE Reconnaissance, TIE/rc, or colloquially TIE Seeker is a specialized variant of the Imperial Revenant TIE series designed for sensor patrols and detection where the use of a larger specialized capital ship might be impractical. Similar in appearance to older TIE bombers, the Seeker has the central cockpit module with its limited weapon systems and two large hubs to either side of it. Each of these hubs contains very powerful full spectrum sensor arrays designed to detect stealth vessels and objects.
Its long range sensors are very good at cutting through stealth frequencies, DERP’s, and detecting trace evidence of thrusters in the void of space, but they are not infallible. A formation may be able to use these in order to cut through EWAR and sensor disrupting technology at use from modernized fighters, but are unlikely to detect full cloaked vessels or rare stealth technology. Normally these sensors are less effective in combat. The hubs also contain sensor buoys with mirroring sensor technology which the Seeker is able to drop and network through in order to increase its range and effectiveness.
On the chin of the cockpit module, the TIE Seeker features a pair of laser cannons for use in combat as a method of defense. Normally these are not craft that would participate directly in combat.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Stealth Suite:
- Much like many modernized ships, the TIE/rc is able to use a stealth suite to minimize its sensor signature and allow it to float unnoticed through space. When not participating in combat with shields and weapons powered down, the fighter can limit its signature allowing it to remain undetected, especially from enemy starfighter grade sensors and long ranges.
- The TIE/rc uses large, dedicated sensor arrays to provide its parent ships and allies with accurate sensor data and detection of stealthed vessels.
- Eyes and Ears: The Seeker is able to use Short and Long Range sensors to detect stealth vessels of various types and assist in cutting through sensor disrupting or blocking phenomena.
- Stealth Mode: The fighter can limit is sensor signature and fly unnoticed from enemy sensors when not participating in direct combat.
- Lightly Armed: With only a pair of laser cannons, the TIE Seeker is considered poorly armed for combat.
- Quiet: Using its stealth systems requires its shields and weapons to be powered down, and at dogfighting ranges as it is still visible to the eye. Some dedicated sensor ships will likely detect them regardless as they approach.
