"Kark you, I won't do what you tell me."
[member="Tobias Wraith"] Well I'd like your opinion on my workout routine. I go to the gym twice a week, though once the week starts it'll be moved up to 4 times a week. That's when Springball for my Highschool Football team starts so I'll have more access to the weight room. I do.

12/10/8 Squat Rack

12/10/8 Bench press

12/10/8 Incline

12/10/8 Lunges (Static, Dynamic, and Side)

12/10/8 Bent Over Row Closed Grip

12/10/8 Bent Over Row Open Grip

10/10/10 Deadlift

12/10/8 Upright Row

How many days a week would you suggest working out? I know 2 is to little, but is 4 enough to get me results? Should I work out everyday of the week? What lifts should I be alternating or adding in so that I might give my muscles some time to relax? Is there anything I should/n't eat?

I went out at the weekend, and had a grand old time!

People have worked out 3 to 5 days a week since time immemorial, it depends on how well you recover. If you have lots of skill work and running, cut back on lifting or vice versa. I would focus on squats, deadlits, dips and chinups (I think barbell benching is not great unless you are a power lifter). The 5/3/1 programs you can find are great for football players. The big lifts help you get stronger and the accessory stuff helps build muscle to prevent injuries. Remember, you are lifting predominantly as an athlete and not a bodybuilder, so how you train will change compared to someone whose goal it is to look awesome on stage.

[member="Ceska Starshield"] All useful information and I appreciate it. Will definitely take it into account while working out. It's slow going but hopefully I'll be big enough and strong enough before season starts. Can I ask another question though? Is there anything I can do to work on my Deadlift technique? It's god awful right now, and I've been karking up my back really bad, especially when you get into the heavier weights of like 200lb+.

Go on lifting forms, filming your form from the side. Ask for tips. I have a feeling your butt his lifting to early, meaning you aren't driving your heels into the ground. Try deadlifting barefoot or in wrestling shoes. It will make it easier to drive your heels into the floor.

If you keep posting in this without a picture I will kill you, Chon.

Also, party photos from a party I helped host for my University's societies "Goonion." While I am the person responsible for advertisement of the Goonion, I am not the President. That night, for some reason, people thought I was the President and kept wanting photos with me. I didn't deny I was President. Why would you deny fame?
