Darth Ren Malgus
Sojourner
Wren nodded ok. She hesitated, “We need to take them at the same time, I hope they activate on contact”
She felt nervous, scared what if they were wrong? She laughed, lord Wren you jump into dark caves and you’re worried about this?
She nodded, “On 3, 1…2…3” Wren picked up the amulet and just as they had suspected the room began to shake.
She quickly slipped it over her head but felt no different. Should she? She looked at Coren to make sure he was doing the same. The braziers glowed brighter, as the fire grew taller. Nothing was hidden now there were no shadows.
The ambience of the rooms had been shed and the bare stark walls looked at them Wren looked around waiting above them a seam seemed to part at first a trickle, and then the deluge of water.
Wren took a breath, Goddess now would be good. It was a terrible feeling to be waiting to find out if something would save your life or take it. Make fools of them both.
Who would mourn them? Better yet who would find them? There was nothing to see as the room filled in moments. Wren pushed upwards hoping to clear the ceiling.
Then everything went black.
Was it hours? Days? Minutes? She did not know. She only knew felt like she was floating. Was she dead? Did it work?
She slowly opened her eyes she could see a sea of stars above her. She took a breath, “Coren” she called softly her throat hurt…where were they she moved to where she was treading water looking around, and in the distance she could see the boat still anchored where they left it.
She couldn’t help but laugh, they had done, where was Coren?
