It is Memory Precious and Pure (complete)

Wren nodded ok. She hesitated, “We need to take them at the same time, I hope they activate on contact”

She felt nervous, scared what if they were wrong? She laughed, lord Wren you jump into dark caves and you’re worried about this?

She nodded, “On 3, 1…2…3” Wren picked up the amulet and just as they had suspected the room began to shake.

She quickly slipped it over her head but felt no different. Should she? She looked at Coren to make sure he was doing the same. The braziers glowed brighter, as the fire grew taller. Nothing was hidden now there were no shadows.

The ambience of the rooms had been shed and the bare stark walls looked at them Wren looked around waiting above them a seam seemed to part at first a trickle, and then the deluge of water.

Wren took a breath, Goddess now would be good. It was a terrible feeling to be waiting to find out if something would save your life or take it. Make fools of them both.

Who would mourn them? Better yet who would find them? There was nothing to see as the room filled in moments. Wren pushed upwards hoping to clear the ceiling.

Then everything went black.

Was it hours? Days? Minutes? She did not know. She only knew felt like she was floating. Was she dead? Did it work?

She slowly opened her eyes she could see a sea of stars above her. She took a breath, “Coren” she called softly her throat hurt…where were they she moved to where she was treading water looking around, and in the distance she could see the boat still anchored where they left it.

She couldn’t help but laugh, they had done, where was Coren?

He had no idea what to expect from this action. The Starchaser did agree with Wren though, they were going to need to grab them together, it was a pair, they were linked... it was how it needed to happen. He watched her for a moment, just... enjoying the view? Was that odd? No, he hadn't really been close to anyone lately. And this, this connection, it didn't feel forced or foreign. The Corellian was a hyperspace trailblazer, this... this was something different. He knew the water, but to handle it here?

He grabbed the amulet, holding tight and ignoring the shaking for a moment, slipping it around his head to hang at his neck. He looked back at Wren. "Well..."

At a loss for words, what was supposed to be happening, was this? What was going to occur?

Water.

Of course, it had to be. He took a breath as it came up, breathing a bit faster and harder, super-saturating his lungs with oxygen, he'd be able to go without a breath a bit longer now. The chamber was flooding.

He was wet. That was the next thing he noticed. He was also under water, sinking. A few kicks and the man surfaced once more. Coughing and shaking his head, sputtering from the water. How long had he been under? "Wren! You alright?"

"Yep" she began to swim towards the boat. "Well it worked!" She laughed.

They would both make it to the boat. Each with a token of the time together. Memories are precious.

Whatever lay ahead for them on their paths they at least could be friends.

Wren climbed the ladder. Falling onto the deck wow she thought. Lol. Who knew. All their time taken up by the adventure it was time to head back.
