SPECIAL FEATURES
Cockpit: Seats the pilot and weapons officer who work together to navigate and combat opponents in and out of the combat zone.
Harpoon Controls: Manned by a specialized gunner who works with either harpoon launcher.
Engines: One engineer works to keep the ship going, there isn’t much room so typically it’s the same person who works the harpoon controls...
Strengths:
[+] T-47 Style: In the spirit of modified T-47s from ancient galactic history, the Ithaqua looks to harass and trip up ground vehicles and possible even other fighters.
[-] Overcharged: The Ithaqua runs the risk of becoming overcharged, if her shield plating system takes on too much she’ll short circuit and find herself sailing perilously into the wind or much rather into the cold hard ground.
This limited produced elite fighter was designed to harass. Equipped with magnetic harpoons, and mag-pulse warheads the Ithaqua’s goal is to cause completely chaos. At home in the snow and the cold, her camo pattern makes it easy for her sneak around the banks and play pin the tail on the fighter.
Defensively the Ithaqua maintains only the charged plating shield system and standard starfighter deflector shields, and a reinforced hull. She’s still prone to many of the routine weaknesses that would plague any fighter. Small, maneuverable still liable to be shot down by larger vessels, warheads, and of course anti-aircraft fire from the ground.
The Ithaqua was designed by Yostine Armitage and set to be produced at Javin on Tokmia where the fighter’s initial testing and design began. Primo Victorian Shipwright is responsible for the new fighter while working on revising their Crown and Reign-type attack craft. The craft was named for Yostine’s home village of Ithaqua, Tokmia a small place somewhere outside of Aridente.
