"ITS A BIRD, ITS A PLANE... oh wait, it is a Bird... Woman... Thing..."

He looked up from the roof of his home in the middle of no where on Dantooine, the starlight and moon light falling on the grassy roof of the home. He always loved homes on Dantooine, built right on the plains and keeping nature close to you. It was only normal such a thing should be as it was, infact he felt that for once, tonight was going to be a good one and he never had to worry about something happening that would turn his peaceful night upside down... meanwhile in metropolis... I mean in the sky above him, the faint outline of a bird could be seen...

Oh, there was Charr. Down below me. It looked as if he could see me, or at least Aurum. It was an empty plain, after all. The best kind, where I had totally free movement in the air, and Aurum could range as far as he wanted. I turned a little, and swept down to meet the Jedi Exile.

"Aurum, go say hi."

Okay.

Aurum flew down, landing before I did, and looked into the Jedi's face.

Hello. Are you [member="Solan Charr"]? You look funny.

[member="Morrigan"]

"Buddy, if i screwed up your life in one way or another you need to take a number. Because im now serving him." He pointed to the thin air beside him beofre still laying there for a few seconds until he realized this man was not going to leave any time soon... and only then did he look and blink at Aurum. "Uh... hello... i am. What are you doing here?"

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
My Queen wishes to talk with you. She needs training... And we were sent to you.

"That's right, [member="Solan Charr"]. Nobody could find a person with fire shaping abilities except for you. Well, nobody who wasn't going to kill me on sight for being one of the Moross."

I smiled at him.

"Talking to yourself only relieves part of the weight of loneliness. Eventually, one must seek living company."

Solan looked from the bird and then to the woman, only to return to the bird. "Look, i didn't schedule avians in until next friday, plus i don't know where you got these rumors about me knowing fire shaping, but i can promise your pretty mind that i dont know how to use it..." He smiled as he finished the sentence in his head. 'to the degree of a master.' He smiled though and tapped his hands. "But say i did know, i don't know your name and nor do i know why or how you found me, perhaps you can tell me before i consider any training?"

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
"I'm Morrigan. This is my baby brother, Aurum. He can speak in your mind."

Damn right!

I grinned at the confused-looking rogue.

"Once I was shown what your Force Signature felt like, I could easily find you when I got to Dantooine. And so, I am here, Mr. Charr."

He steppled his fingers under his chin and looked at her for a few long moments before smiling wide. "I like you, ok then, lets teach you. How much of the force do you know or do i have to start from scratch with you Lady Morrigan and Mister Aurum." He stood slowly and crossed his hands behind him before staring at Aurum and her for a few long moments again, studying them.

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
"Well, I can talk to and control birds extremely well, and I'm pretty good with animals otherwise. I can use a sword, but I don't happen to have one, or formal training to wield it. I never really tried to use telekinesis or any real Force powers, like lightning and stuff."

I put my hand out to hold Aurum.

"I can't tell if Aurum's Force Sensitive himself, or if he can talk to people just because I affected his mind. I mean, I've met birds who have some limited power in the Force, but they were usually pretty weak."

[member="Solan Charr"]

[member="Morrigan"]

"Hmm... try speaking in my mind like you do with the birds Morrigan, perhaps we can start with that and see how skilled you are exactly." She smiled and walked slowly, his hands crossed behind his back as he walked up to her and inspected the bird for a few seconds from a foot away, then let his eyes slide and look at hers without his body moving an inch. "Interesting."

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
(The colored italics are gonna be me speaking. White italics are still Aurum.)

Like this? I haven't directly talked mentally since I was a kid. It's not a strain, but I'd honestly rather talk out loud... Or even use hand gestures.

I looked up at the rogue Jedi.

Were you two talking? I'm hungry.

[member="Morrigan"]

"It seems, that you have a innate ability in beast friendship or what ever its called. And in Telepathy itself... That is going to be very helpful but first i need to know why you want to learn from me and what it is that a beautiful woman would want with Fire shaping?" He smiled wide and looking very carefully at her eyes, still not moving from where he stood, looking for any deception that she might try on him.

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
"I want to be able to use fire. It was the tool of destruction used against me long ago... And I must be able to make sure it never happens again. Not just through defense, but also attack."

I smiled sadly at [member="Solan Charr"].

"I lived in a palace that was in a city in the middle of a forest. The forest bore a remarkable resemblance to Kashyyyk, only with smaller trees and no crazy buildings growing out of them. The Senate sent armies against me. They burned down the forest for leagues and leagues around my city. That can never happen again. I will destroy anybody who tries."

[member="Morrigan"]

He stared for a few moments before shaking his head. "Revenge is not the right thing miss, no one should ever sue for revenge and to have me teach you this to enact pain and suffering on others is not what i want... Hear me out if you will miss, my teachings will make you question your path if you listen so i ask you now. If i teach you this, you will need to forget your need for revenge, your rage, because that will only make you fall down the same path as the Sith."

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
"If not revenge, then what would my emotions go towards? I have no friends, because everybody is disturbed by my appearance. A Sith is different than what I am. I am what is created when a goddess has her religion destroyed. When a mother's child is killed. What can I do, but fight?"

[member="Solan Charr"]

[member="Morrigan"]

"I am not saying you do not use your emotions, i am every bit a user of the darkside myself, but you mix usage of the force with reckless emotions like revenge. Hate, love, pain, sadness, joy. All of them can be used for dark purposes, WITHOUT, becoming reckless. What you have in you is sheer rage and vengeance, emotions the Sith get mixed up with hate and pain. You must learn the difference before i can teach you... and the perfect way to do that is simple..." He straightened up, reached out, and would touch her forehead if allowed by her. Upon the connection physically her vision would go dark until they stood in a white space with no features at all, just white all around them. And there, standing before her, was Solan. "Welcome to my mind."

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
The Rogue put his hand on my forehead, and my vision went black.... And then white.

A white room, and [member="Solan Charr"] was standing before me. Fascinating.

"So your mind is... blank? Or is this just a single facet of it?"

[member="Morrigan"]

"Nope, its completely blank, nothing going on up here at all." He smiled and started walking... first normally but than as if the path he took was invisible and soon he was upside down infront of her, grinning as he looked at her from upside down. "You see, this is going to be a catalyst for my teaching you the difference of each emotion, a mixture of memories and feelings that could harm yourself if you see them. You will feel my pains, you will relive my worst memories... but also my best ones. If you want to leave my mind at any time tell me, though i do ask that you stay until then end, otherwise the point will not be made.... also stop with the "People are disturbed by your appearance, my comments about your beauty aren't just me being nice." He smiled and snapped, everything blank and he was gone, a eerie silence all around her.

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
"That's nice of you, but it doesn't stop people from seeing me as a creation. It's a bit disgusting, really."

I looked around. All I saw was white, silent air. Odd.

"I think I'd better stay for the show, then."

[member="Solan Charr"]

[member="Morrigan"]

Nothing would happen, absolutely nothing. Ten minutes, then twenty, thirty, and hour. It kept going on, time much slower in his mind than on the outside world, only a second passing in the real world while two hours soon passed and nothing happened in his mind. All the while she would be experiencing an overwhelming loneliness mixed with an insanity inducing silence that caused her to hear her own hear. This was the loneliness and abandon that he had felt over the last number of years, the despairation biting down deep on her own soul at the feeling no one would ever come and kindle any joy in her heart.

Vanir

Lightning-Struck Angel
"Oh, isolation. You isolate yourself too much, Solan. I remember... I isolated myself for a decade. There was no place I could go, nobody to see, nothing to do with my mind. My isolation only ended when I found Aurum. He brought me out of my near-insanity. A few hours is nothing, now. The isolation focuses my mind better than meditation."
