<C> "Running is uh, great exercise! On this planet I'm on!"

Iris didn't stop running. Wouldn't stop running. Master Valery was way angrier than she expected and.. This was fun. A lot more fun than she figured it'd be. She flashed a grin to Ara as they sped down the hallways like bats outa hell. Ruined date night? Iris burst out into laughter. Then, fear. The rapid footfalls of her master running after them pumped her full of adrenaline.

"Must go faster! She's coming! Run! RUN!"

Iris' terrible lying was genuinely not helping Ara's breathing as they sprinted as far away as they could get. Despite the dread of imminent vengeance from the Master, Ara was having a blast with all of this. Except when Master Valery emerged from behind, rapidly gaining on the two padawans. "Oh kriff, OH KRIFF!" She called out, stepping up her pace to try and get away.

"IT'S A JOKE! IT'S A KARKING JOKE!" She called out as she spared a glance behind her. The sight made it impossible to take the situation seriously. She quickly fished out her datapad to send a voice message. "Kyell, pack your bags! We're dead, dude! We got an angry master comin' after us!" She shouted before sending it to the guy and slipping the device back into her robes.

Another padawan emerged from a hallway, right into the Zabrak's path as she ran like hell to get away. With a heavy grunt, her chances were up as she crashed into the ground on top of the Padawan. "Iris, help!" She called out, scrambling to get back on her feet. By the time she was back up, the space between her and certain death had vanished in an instant.

But the sight was worth it.

Through heaving breaths, Ara folded in on herself as a squealing laugh erupted through the hallways of the temple. All of this was worth it. She collapsed back on the ground as she clutched her stomach, heaving laughs like an idiot.

"Oh I've got you two now."

Iris' reply over comms had only challenged the Master more, and so she moved faster and faster to catch up with them. Finally, when she came around the corner into a new hallway, she spotted the two criminals, laughing and joking around while they tried to escape certain death. But she wasn't going to let them get away with this.

"IT'S A JOKE! IT'S A KARKING JOKE!"

Valery just grinned and focused on Ara first, who wasn't paying attention enough to sense the other student approaching. They crashed into each other, leaving the Zabrak on the floor, calling for help but she was still laughing, Valery came to a full stop right beside her, and extended an arm towards Iris, attempting to pull her all the way back and straight into her right arm with the Force, which she tried to wrap around the girl's neck. Not enough to where it would hurt, but enough to where she was pinned against her Master.

At the same time, she reached out to try and snatch Ara with the left arm, pinning her on the opposite side.

"Why are you two running? I just wanted a hug..." she said while she rubbed her pink arms across their necks and cheeks, hoping to get some of the paint on them as well. Finally, she let them go and met them with that fiery glare she had whenever someone had struck a nerve. "I think you both have earned yourself some cleaning time."

"My room is a mess."

"Get up! Get u-"

She was too busy laughing while trying to get Ara back on her feet to realize just how close Valery was. She rounded the corner and was immediately on them. She got out a yelp of surprise before she found herself captured, and covered in paint. Which only had her snorting in laughter now. "Oh hey Master. I just uh, showed up here. I like the uh, pink." She tried to speak in a straight face.

Didn't work. Too busy laughing.

Half stumbling away once she was released Iris just fell to the ground, still trying to catch her breath. "Alright, yeah. I figured that. But hey! Got you laughing, didn't it?"

Ara was too busy laughing to even realize what Master Valery was doing, until a paint-covered arm wrapped around her neck and held her against the Jedi. Ara squirmed and flailed about, trying to escape and save her fresh new robes. "Yo, Mas-MASTER YO! THESE ARE FRESH ROBES! COME ON!" She cried out to no avail.

When she was finally free to jump away from the Master, she looked over her robes with a look of defeat. That look quickly changed when she looked at Valery and the laughing resumed. Even the punishment of cleaning her room did little to phase the padawan. "Nah, master! Keep... keep it like that. It's perfect for Zeltros roleplay tonight!" She leaned against Iris, slapping her leg as she continued to laugh at the Jedi Master. She finally managed to calm down and follow after the other two, though the tears were still tugging at her eyes. She spared a glance at Iris, holding up a fist to bump against hers. The pink smeer over Iris' neck and cheek nearly sent her tumbling again, but luckily she managed to keep herself upright this time.

"Look on the bright side, Master! At least it wasn't hair removal cream." She spoke up. "Plus you got a free hairdo out of it!" She continued to stir, her cheeks aching from all the smiling she was doing.

"Oh you like the pink, huh?" Valery asked with a roll of her eyes.

Iris would probably be able to tell that Valery struggled actually staying angry. Sure, she was frustrated and tired still, and this was going to be annoying to clean up, but seeing the two Padawans laugh like this; it almost made a smile slip through the cracks. But then her eyes were drawn to Ara, right as she made a comment that caught her off-guard.

"Nah, master! Keep... keep it like that. It's perfect for Zeltros roleplay tonight!"

Valery's face turned a shade red, and she actually seemed to not have an immediate answer for once. Crap, they saw that? She sighed and ran a hand up through her now pink hair, deciding it was best not to add too much to that topic. Kahlil wasn't going to escape their "date" night either way, but they didn't need to know that.

Seeing Ara go for a fist bump, Valery rolled her eyes again,
"For your sake, I hope this paint is easily removed. If you two actually messed up my hair..." she trailed off a little, but her eyes showed they'd be in a lot more trouble. Few people knew what she went through to keep her hair looking presentable, so she didn't appreciate people messing with it too much. Well, with one exception...

"But hey! Got you laughing, didn't it?"

She looked at Iris and the first chuckle escaped, "Yeah, yeah, you two are hilarious. But if you're done laughing, I think it's cleaning time." One thing was for sure, Ara was getting the smaller towels and wipes.

Zeltros roleplay?

Iris tilted her head, clearly not understanding what that meant in the slightest. But she didn't ask. No, it was funnier to think about poor Valery fearing the paint wouldn't come out easy. She giggled a bit more, shaking her head.

"It comes out easy, don't worry. I wasn't going to cover you in paint that'd be hard to clean." Even the mess in her room would be easy enough. Iris returned the fistbump, flashing a grin to Ara. Worth it. That was for sure.

Definitely worth it.

The long silence from Valery told Ara all she needed to know. Any hope of free time was lost forever... and she had the Master in a corner. Though in hopes of not escalating her punishment any further, Ara kept quiet for the moment as she followed the Master along with Iris. Valery commented on the paint in her hair, to which Iris seemed quite confident on washing out. Ara, on the other hand, idly scratched her chin as she tried to remember what paint she used for the shampoo. "I dunno... shampoo could have been oil based... can't remember now." She commented idly before looking up at Valery with wide eyes and a nervous smile.

The sight genuinely couldn't frighten her, no matter how much she thought of the consequences.

"Don't worry about it, master. If it's a problem, I'll get you some of my degreasing soap. Used it before on my own hair, it works like a charm." She reassured the woman with pink hands raised. She kept quiet about the fact that it burned her scalp like crazy, Master Valery didn't need to know about that bit of information. "Besides, if that ain't enough, I'll fix up your ship or anything broken for you. Pro bono, of course! Hell, you can even embarrass me in front of my boyfriend, it'll only be fair, right?" She nervously tried to reassure the woman in hopes of lowering her punishment in some way or another.

Perhaps staying quiet would be the best course of action...

"It comes out easy, don't worry. I wasn't going to cover you in paint that'd be hard to clean."

"Oh how thoughtful of you," Valery said, again with a roll of her eyes. At least it would be easy enough to wash it off, so maybe she wouldn't have to come home looking like a complete mess. But then Ara chimed in again and revealed the paint used in the shampoo wasn't the same one used in the bomb. The relaxed expression Valery had shifted back into a killer glare, and she turned to the Zabrak.

"Oh I really hope it'll come off, or you're not going to see that boyfriend of yours for a little while." She seemed pretty serious about it, but after a few seconds, she seemed to relax again. She was already frustrated enough, so worrying too much over this wasn't going to help her. Maybe after she got it all cleaned up, a long warm bath or massage could get her to actually relax.

More thoughts for later.

"Alright you two, let's get moving. I have cleaning supplies in my room."

Ara caught Iris' gaze as she glanced at her, though she didn't have time to react on it as Master Valery turned to glare at her again. Though the Zabrak merely dismissed her worries with a wave of her hand. "Hey, don't worry about it master. I actually worked under a barber for extra cash when I was ten. If it don't come off, I'll help you out easy peasy lemon squeezy." She reassured her with a confident smile.

Wheny they finally reached her room again, Ara wasted no time in mixing up the soap and getting to work. With a practiced precision that exceeded her capabilities as a Jedi by far, she started to scrub and wipe away at the pink paint in the Master's bathroom. Like a machine, every last spot was washed clean until no evidence remained of anything happening. The only thing that couldn't be salvaged was the shampoo, though Ara had half a mind to repaint the entire shower in that bright pink. Perhaps another day, when she felt particularly suicidal, but for now the spotless shower would do. And the sink... and the rest of the bathroom.

"Hey Iris, what you think?" She spoke up as she emerged from the bathroom with drenched robes and a mess of hair on her head. "If the Jedi thing don't work out so well, should I open my own diner?" She quipped as she helped Iris with the rest of the mess in the room as well.

"You missed a spot," Valery said while she used her foot to smear out a tiny spot of paint to make it worse, right in front of Ara while she almost finished cleaning her part. She had to make sure Ara wouldn't miss it, after all. With a grin, she then turned to Iris, who had been cleaning up as well.

"You're lucky this wasn't the permanent stuff." She wouldn't think it beyond Iris to accidentally mix things up and do unreversible damage with her paint bombs. That would have provoked a whole different kind of anger. "But I can hopefully count on this not happening again? Next time I won't be so easy on you two."

Others were definitely going to be the target of their pranks as well, but if they decided to go after Valery again... they'd live to regret it. She just needed to come up with some fun punishments for it.

Iris tilted her head, blinking at Ara's question. ".. Huh?" What did that even mean? What did being soaked have to do with a diner? She didn't really think on it long though, glancing to Valery nervously. Ah, yeah. Good thing, huh? Her smile was just as nervous as everything else around her as she turned her gaze back to cleaning.

"Right. I'll uh, never do that to you again."

Pranks? Oh, yes. Iris certainly would keep doing those. But not the same one, that'd be boring. Right?

Moving with surprising speed, the Zabrak grabbed hold of Master Valery's foot to lift up and wipe it down before she could plant a bunch of new paint spots all over the floor. With a look of suspicion at the Jedi Master, Ara said nothing as she wiped the worsened stripe on the floor down. She wasn't going to the her get away with making the cleaning even more of a chore.

Cleaning out the rest of the room, Ara idly listened to Master Valery as she put the squeeze on her friend. She kept her laugh in, though a smug smile cracked through her poker face as she cleaned with precision. It was almost a challenge to the girl, to see what other kind of tricks they could pull on the Jedi Master. Maybe a stink bomb in her ship's cockpit? Or maybe a buzzer connected to her room's controls for that classic electro shock.

But one look at the Jedi Master quickly changed up her ideas. Maybe targeting that Mirialan at the Padawan sparring session could work for next time. Or that brat of a guy that danced around her blade like a Twi'lek dancer at a night club...

"Right. I'll uh, never do that to you again."

"Hm? Do what?" She idly remarked as she was yanked out of her thoughts. "Oh! Y-yeah... won't happen again, Master." Ara agreed, though with the sincerity of a con artist. Once the Zabrak felt she had cleaned out every spot of paint and every speck of dust, she set her cleaning items away and looked at the two Jedi with a smile. "Well, now with that over with... any of y'all in the mood for a burger and a shake?" The pink Master earned a stifled snort. "Can make it a strawberry shake too..." She snickered away.

While they tried to "assure" her that it wasn't going to happen again, Valery remained cautious. They were laughing and enjoying themselves far too much for this to be a one-time thing. But maybe they'd hit a different target next time — either way, Valery decided it was best to keep an eye on the two Padawans.

"Well, now with that over with... any of y'all in the mood for a burger and a shake?" The pink Master earned a stifled snort. "Can make it a strawberry shake too..." She snickered away.

Valery rolled her eyes and raised a hand up to pinch the bridge of her nose,
"You two can go get burgers and shakes and put it on my tab. I'll have to skip this time though. I'm going to try and get home in time to see my daughter." She offered a faint smile and looked at Iris, "We'll get back to training again tomorrow as well, so don't stay up too late goofing off."

Burgers? Shake?

Iris perked up, glancing between the two other woman with a faint smile. Food always got her attention pretty easily. Though the fact Valery wasn't up for it brought a frown. Then again, no. That made sense. Vera needed her mother. And Kahlil probably wanted to see her. She nodded once, offering her own smile in return to her Master.

"I look forward to it, Master." Then turned her gaze to Ara with a grin.

"So, strawberry shakes and burgers? How spicy can the burgers get?"
