The Twi'lek shook her head at Eli's apology, finding it not needed. "Well I certainly hope not. Last time I take you to an abandoned space station in the middle of no where." She had to joke, after all, she still didn't know why the woman had agreed to come out here with her. "We all make mistakes, frankly I thought I could take them too, but, well that nearly got us both killed, huh?" She shrugged, just glad they could at least have this conversation. Waving for her to lay back down, the Twi'lek adjusted her position, setting her hands into her lap. She studied Eli's form, trying to work out if the pale color of her cheeks was from blood loss or just natural. Results were inconclusive.

She only hoped the woman's spirits didn't get too down, she didn't need that after all. "Don't make me treat you like my padawan now, no mopping. You don't want to know what happens to moppers on this ship." She beamed, waving off the medical droid once it had finished sealing up the wound, and thankfully it seemed like she might be able to get around in another hour or two. "Well, we can take it easy, wait for you to feel one hundred percent, then press on. So..." She looked up to the ceiling and thought for a long moment, then to Eli. "Why exactly did you agree to come along with me? Not that I mind of course, you've been very pleasant, death risking antics included." She might as well start with the easy questions first.

Eli-Mae gently laughed as Mi’la joked with her “Yeah, I definitely thought that I was a goner” She said. As she laid back on the table she definitely felt feint from her injury. Looking over at Mi’la she thought about the thoughts she had as her vision blurred out earlier. It was strange to her that her mind had gone to Mi’la only after her own parents, she knew that forming attachments was frowned upon but she felt a unique attachment to this woman and she couldn’t explain it though she did want to dive deeper and explore it with her.

I’m glad you’re not too mad at me it was definitely stupid what I did” She said her blue eyes finding those of Mi’la. She felt like a bit of a failure but as Mi’la told her to cheer up she did a bit looking over at her. “The reason I came with you is because I felt drawn to you from the moment I sat eyes on you and I can’t explain it. I know attachments are bad but I feel a strange draw to you.” She said her eyes not leaving Mi’la’s

To saw she was expecting this was a surprise to be sure. Blinking several times, Mi'la had to wonder if this was due to the side effects of her bonding talents, or if she had simply stolen the woman's heart. Regardless, the Twi'lek was very much flustered at this revelation. "O-Oh, wow, um...really?" She muttered, unable to break eye contract with Eli, as she fumbled with an explanation. One that she did not have at all. Master Wu had told her about attachments, and how they could still work out as a jedi, but Mi'la hadn't a clue how to even handle this one. "You're very lovely to admire as well Eli, but attachments aren't terrible to have, you just need to learn when to let them go, not let them cloud your judgement." She managed, able to not come off as flustered, as she placed a gently hand atop the womans.

"I...don't know how to explain it, but I have a gift. I can form bonds quickly with people, so...maybe?"
She started, unable to look away from Eli, but unable to find a real path forward here. She smiled, squeezing Eli's hand a tad. "Let's explore this then, tell me, what feelings come to you when you look at me? Hm?" She asked, tilting her head to the side with a warm smile, trying to help the woman better understand her emotions, as keeping them clouded would make this future ordeal rather difficult. Even if she found Eli alluring, this wasn't the best time for that.

Eli would nod slightly, her face burned red hot as her cheeks grew to match her hair. Her eyes locked on Mi’la’s she couldn’t believe what she was hearing as she was complimented she wasn’t use to it but she would gratefully take it. “Thank you for understanding.” She said gently letting the words sink in

The small girl listened to Mi’la’s soft voice as she explained her gift to Eli but she didn’t think it was that, there was something special to Eli. As her hand was squeezed Eli’s cheeks darkened even more. As the question was posed Eli thought to herself “I-I feel butterflies I feel comfortable and like this is where I need to be” She said gently hoping she didn’t drive Mi’la away. She was not used to being vulnerable with people.

Well, at least things seemed to be going well on this front. Nodding to herself, Mi'la held her smile, trying to be as comforting as she could for the woman during this difficult time. Though being this close, holding her hand, Mi'la had never dealt with anything of this nature before, nor did she think she would in the future; least she hoped not. But attachments did happen and form, but for how long she didn't know. Eli's explination for how she felt was a bit difficult to process, as her brow furrowed in confusion, but slowly it seeped into her. "So I make you feel comfortable and needed? Well, these are good things indeed, so I am glad I inspire them in you." She beamed, nodding with confidence. So far, so good right? "Now, that you have these feelings, how do you wish to express them?" She asked, unsure what she was going to get, but figured it would be important for Eli to at least tell her, Mi'la keeping her hand on top of the woman's to provide comfort.

She really had no idea on how to properly handle this sort of affair. "I'm...not good at dealing with this stuff truthfully, this is honestly the first time." She admitted, her Lekku coiling nervously around her neck. Looking to Eli, she was hoping for a hand here.

Eli Mae made eye contact with Mi’la and noted how her brows furrowed as she held the young Jedi’s hand. As she listened to the woman parrot her words back to her she nodded gently her fiery hair flowing behind her as she laid on the cold table she felt a warm sensation flow through her a surge of emotions. “I-I do not know how I want to express them, I don’t want to overstep what you are comfortable with” She said gently her voice a soft breeze that could be missed if you weren’t listening closely to her.

Eli focused on the woman’s hand resting on her own before her blue eyes moved slowly upward over her arm and finally to her lekku wrapped around her neck “I-I guess it is a first time for the both of us” Eli said softly as she leaned forward moving within inches of Mi’la.

This was the sort of thing Mi'la was afraid she would hear, as she felt a tug of warm feelings with Eli's words, the knight pursing her lips as she studied the woman's form. She studied the woman as she moved closer, eyes widening as she realized what was being requested, and the idle questions did bubble to her mind. She had never tried to toy with these emotions before, or even give credit to them. What would happen if she toyed with them in this moment here? She couldn't be too sure frankly. There was something in how Eli spoke though now, almost as if Mi'la could hear her, without hearing her. The words just seemed to make sense in her mind, though her ears could hardly pick them up. She felt Eli's hand move to grab her arm, then it continued upwards. Her mind still processing this exchange.

She let out a sharp hiss as Eli took hold of a head-tail, her hand setting gently over the woman's wrist that gripped it so. "Careful." She said softly, dreading what might happen if Eli got too curious; Mi'la was terribly ticklish. With Eli this close, she merely closed her eyes, remaining free hand setting on the woman's shoulder, and leaned in for a gentle kiss; she was if nothing else, curious.

Eli-Mae’s eyes were deadlocked with Mi’la’s, her heart racing as her hand found the woman’s lekku. She didn’t know what she was doing or why she was doing it besides the fact it felt right. As Mi’la gently touched her hand and warned her to be careful Eli moved her hand just slightly to where it was just barely hovering over the surface of the woman’s skin. “I promise I will be” She said gently as she studied Mi’la’s face for a moment.

Eli tried to stop her mind from spinning about what she was doing but it was racing none-the-less. Her blue eyes fluttered closed as she moved closer ever so slowly her mind finally going blank. The young knight felt her lips meet Mi’la’s, as she did she felt a warm sensation go through her body starting in her chest and moving all around. Eli-Mae stayed frozen in place for several moments.

Mi'la winced as she felt the woman's hand linger where it laid, still able to feel where it nearly touched. It was a downside about her species, able to sense these things, but having no real defense against it. She felt anxiety building, waiting for Eli to make a move, and began to ponder if anything would come from this at all. Eli was studying her face, and Mi'la had to wonder if there was perhaps something on her that was distracting. She didn't know, frankly she hadn't a clue what was taking so long. Was this normal? She didn't know. How could she know? She'd never done this before.

She felt like she was going to be sick, but not really, maybe it was just the thought that counted.

Eli moved, eyes shut, lips pressing against Mi'la's own, bringing the knight still, as she leaned into the strange sensations, and lingered for several moments, before slowly pulling away, her face a bright violet color now, as she asked. "S-So...did...that...help?" She wasn't able to look Eli in the eyes as she asked, merely keeping to looking at the ground.

Eli-Mae looked at Mi’la and noted her inability to meet her eyes and tears began to well up in her eyes as she thought she had messed up and hurt the woman’s feelings. As the hot tears began to run down she mumbled ever so gently “Y-yes” As she did she bowed her head toward the ground. She started to pull back within herself she was scared she had broken the bond they had formed.

“I-I-I’m sorry” She stuttered gently her blue eyes hidden behind her mane of fiery locks. She brought her arms in to hug her chest as she started to gently rock back and forth. She suddenly became very aware of the cold table under her. She felt goosebumps form on her arms as she shook gently.

Mi'la was utterly thrown as the woman seemed to spiral into something of an emotional crisis, prompting the Twi'lek to move and embrace her. She wasn't very good on this sort of thing, but, she couldn't just sit here and watch someone cry their eyes out. "Hey, hey, it's fine." She soothed, hugging the woman tightly, trying to think of what she might do or say that would get her to stop. "There's no need to cry, everything is fine." She reasoned, feeling the wavering of emotions that were within Eli, and managing to keep the negative ones back.

She wished she was better at this sort of thing. "Eli, I'm not upset, or anything. I just....I don't know how to handle these sort of things you know?" She spoke, her hand stroking the woman's back, as she tried to find the words that might make this better. "You have really nice hair, I like it." It felt random, but people liked getting compliments. Maybe the same was true with Eli.

Eli-Mae attempted to brush the tears from her eyes as she was pulled into Mi’la’s embrace she looked up to the woman and tried to hold back tears “I’m sorry if I made things awkward I wasn’t trying to” She said slowly. It was then that alarms started to blare as the auto defenses kicked in as they fell under attack again “Thank you beautiful” She said gently reaching out with the force for her sabers summoning them into her hands.

“We have company” She said as she leaned forward once more kissing her on the nose before pulling back from her embrace. “What do we do?” She asked gently.

To Mi'la's relief, that seemed to work. She offered a smile back to the tear stricken woman, trying to attest everything was well and good. "Don't be sorry, it happens. Set it aside, and don't let it become a distraction." She advised, stroking the back of Eli's head, glad that she had been able to stir the woman out of whatever funk she had going on, though hadn't anticipated the compliment that was thrown towards her. A blush came quickly over Mi'la's face, though she was distracted by the sounds of her ship's defense systems firing up.

Puffing her cheeks, Mi'la rose, though not before giving Eli's healed over wounds an experimental poke, ensuring it wouldn't become an issue in combat. The kiss to her nose made her pause, blinking before she shook the distraction aside. "Well, first, I need to make sure you aren't going to pop." If that held, she would move on to the next problem. "The turret can take care of anything light, but it wouldn't hurt to see what the issue outside might be." She mused, tapping her lip as she looked about, before pulling over a terminal that they could watch from. The outside feed of the ship showed several battle droids from earlier advancing on them, though the ships defenses seemed to be able to take care of the droids for now. Sighing, Mi'la could see there was a lull in the droids entering into the hanger, meaning that would be the best time to move. "If you're feeling okay, we can talk about a plan." She took in a breath, steadying herself as she noticed the last few exchanges had elevated her heart rate. She needed to be in a clear mind for the path ahead.

Eli-Mae attempted to brush the thoughts from her mind and focus on the mission coming for them. She giggled gently as the blush went across Mi’la’s face. Eli knew she was about to have to go face down the droids that had gunned her down earlier which did not excite the young knight. As this thought crossed her mind a grimace crossed her face. The young woman decided to push her own feelings to the side and give in to the force as she was poked by the woman the grimace grew just a little larger as a bolt of pain arced through her body as she tried to keep a straight face.

Looking at the monitor that was brought over Eli saw the droids advancing on them and swiftly being demolished by the auto defenses of the ship. “I will be ok.” Eli mused softly as she started to try to think of a plan to get them out of this jam. “What do you have in mind” She softly asked thinking out a plan that didn’t involve rushing in on the droids for that was suicide and she knew it.

Mi’la was none too happy at the small glimpse of pain she sensed from Eli, but given the woman’s nature she imagined she’d lie about the discomfort. “Before we continue, as you absolutely certainly you’re okay?” She asked, trying to make it abundantly clear that Eli would be able to do this. Last thing she wanted to do was get this woman killed due to her own pride. “If not I can work another plan out.” She advised, keeping her hand over the injured area and trying to stem away any more pain.

Seeing that Eli was still wanting to go through on this, Mi’la began to explain. “We should be able to get through the droids with the auto weapons. After that, we need to power down the tractor beam keeping the ship in place, and download facility plans so we can work out who owns this station. Or how it got here at least.” Looking to Eli, Mi’la cupped the back of the woman’s neck with her cybernetic hand. “I’ll go first, you stay behind me okay? I’ll draw their fire and you take what I leave behind out.” She hoped this time it would work better for the two of them.
