~Strengths~
Strategic Mind - Jayce was introduced to strategy board games at a young age and got pretty good at playing them before being sent to a military academy. He was naturally gifted with quick thinking. At the military academy, Jayce realized his passion for tactics.
Hands-on Leader - Instead of commanding from the back, or simply just ordering his troops around, Jayce prefers to work alongside his troops. When he gives a command, he doesn't just watch his troops perform the task, he participates in completing the task as well. This tends to attract more respect towards him from soldiers.
Quick Draw - Jayce takes pride in his skills with a handgun. He is able to draw his weapon and fire it accurately in under half a second.
~Weaknesses~
Overconfident - When he has a plan, he is positive that it will work. Even when he has to improvise, his confidence of victory remains. This overconfidence can be used against him. Also, if his plan continues to go wrong, he starts to get largely aggravated.
Smart-Ass - Jayce acts like he knows it all, which can get annoying at times. He also likes to pester others with sarcastic remarks.
Fear of Oceans - Jayce does not like large bodies of water. He doesn't like to swim in them, or even be near them. He has a fear of potential creatures in the water and drowning.
~Appearance~
When he isn't wearing his combat gear or issued dress wear, he's dressed in rather nice clothing(suit, button-up, etc.). Jayce likes to comb back his light brown hair. His eyes are like the surface of a silver moon. He stands just under 6 feet and weighs like that of an average man of his stature. He loves his facial hair and refuses to shave, only trim. Though, he does shave his cheeks often. Jayce is toned and fit, which he has to be to do the type of work he does.
~Biography~
Ever since he was young, his parents have supported Imperial jurisdiction. His father served in the Imperial Navy and his mother served as a communications officer on a remote planet under Imperial control. Jayce's parents raised him early on to serve in the Imperial military, hence the strategy board games he was given as a child. When it came time for Jayce to go to military school, his father wanted him to join him in the Imperial Navy, while his mother wanted him to discover his own path. Jayce listened more to his mother's advise because he enjoyed the free will. He pursued Infantry and gave his father a heart attack (Infantry usually had alarming casualties during war time).
Jayce's elder brother, Dante, had an impact on his life as well. Dante used to strike fear into Jayce and bully him around. Jayce remembered when Dante fled the family, and still gives a sigh of relief for that. Jayce knew well and clear why Dante fled... he was always the rebellious type and hated Imperial rule. Jayce heard Dante took off to take part in pirating and illegal activities, but a part of him believes that there was more to it.
While at military school, Jayce learned the ins and outs of being an officer in the Infantry branch of the Imperial Military. He even caught the eyes of his superiors during training exercises, partly due to his leadership, partly due to his quick hand. After four years in military school, Jayce graduated in the top five of his class. Now... he moves on to pursue his military career.
