Jedi and a Mission

Coruscant
~
Koda was walking through the Temple on Voss. She was unsure of what to do for now, so she was just walking around, admiring other things she may not have upon arriving long ago and things that she may not of had access to when she was younger. She hadn't been on much missions lately, but that would change soon.

She was walking through a hall that had many beautiful statues. As she went, Koda sensed a familiar presence and recognized it to be one of the masters. Stopping and looking at a specific statue, she spoke.

"May I help you with something, Master?"

she asked. The master smiled as he walked over to Koda, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Koda, there's a mission for you. You will be meeting [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] on Coruscant. From there, someone here will contact Josh to let you both know of your assignment."

he responded. Koda's slight smile faded into one that wasn't amused.. She didn't have many friends, but when he said that she'd be on a mission with someone else, she questioned it.

"Uhh.. I think I'm capable enough of doing a mission on my own.."

"Well, considering last time I had to come and save you. You were barely even living. Remember, it took you weeks to recover from that capture? Hence why you are being accompanied on this one. Just don't get any ideas and try to get along.."

"Yes.. I know. Believe me, I haven't forgotten. Honestly, it still hurts and gives me nightmares from time to time.. But I'll do my best.."

she sighed. The master caught her eye and offered a smile. Koda returned a small one and she walked away getting ready. She put on one of her usual outfits. It was an outfit that was lightweight and was easy to move in. She then pulled her hair up and grabbed her sabers before heading off the the hangar bay, getting into a ship that was prepped for her and she punched in coordinates for Coruscant and once she took off, she put the coordinates entered into place and then she blasted off into hyperspace.

Honestly, Josh hadn't been to Coruscant in years.

It held memories, good and bad... It had been his home for as long as he could remember. At least, until the day he was betrayed by the Order's members and left. The next time he stepped on Coruscant was to fulfill one last mission during the One Sith's invasion, for the Republic's Jedi Order on behalf of former Grandmaster Carn Dista. Unfortunately, Master Dista had forgotten to inform other Jedi of this mission, which included Master Grayson, and things had gotten, well... Confusing. He hadn't seen Master Dista, Master Grayson, or any other members of the old council ever since. Quite frankly, he wasn't sure if he wanted to.

That had been the last time he had stepped foot on Coruscant. The planet that had been his home, his base of operations, where he had become a Knight, become a Master, become Grandmaster, and where he'd lost it all... He used to have an apartment here too, a place away from the temple to sit and think in peace, without being disturbed.

He hadn't stepped foot on it since.

But now, he was called here for a mission. He'd missed the invasion by the Republic to get it back... He didn't know who owned it now. He didn't care, and didn't care much about the Republic's ending... Well, maybe a little. He'd served most of his life, after all.

He was to meet his partner for this mission at the local cantina... And to the local cantina he went. Cloaked in robe, hood up, he didn't meet anyone's eyes. Just went on his way...

On her way to Coruscant, Koda remembered her life on Coruscant. After her brother left her, she ran to Coruscant, maybe hoping she'd find him, but she never had any luck. She wondered why she never left this planet and somehow managed to keep coming back. Everytime she went on a mission, it wound up on this planet. It was where she was beaten up and became ignorant to pain and lost her sanity, becoming insane. It's also where she earned the name Phantom. She learned to not let it bother her, but other times, it got to her when she was alone and it crippled her.

So now she was going back to her nightmare of a home. Why not Lothal? Why couldn't they have met where she was born. No one knew her there and she wouldn't have to risk being recognized.. except by a few family friends that may have known her parents. Besides, no one would have recognized her there anyway except for whatever the Empire had evolved to. She was recognized anywhere she went though.. it never mattered, she was recognized.

It bothered her.

During her thoughts, she had put her right leg up on the dash, slightly slumped in her seat with her arms crossed. Soon though, she was brought back to reality from her daydream as the beeping came from the dash board, indicating that she was about to emerge from hyperspace. Uncrossing her arms and taking her foot from the dash, she hit a few buttons, preparing the ship and then seconds later, the stars that were once a blur, went still and the lit up planet sat in front of her.

Sighing, Koda gave her code number and the like and then she was assigned a landing pad. It only took her a few seconds, but once she found it, she prepped for the landing and when the ship was down, she sighed again, standing up as she walked towards the entrance of the ship grabbing her cape on the way and slinging it around her shoulders, buttoning it as she went also checking for her lightsabers. Once she was ready, Koda pulled the hood over her head and pressed a button lowering the ramp. After she disembarked, she closed the ramp and made her way to the cantina she was told to meet the other Jedi Master.

Once she got there, she was tempted to go in a grab a drink, but she saw a big enemy of hers in there. It was one of Koda's old boyfriends in there and she swore that if she ever saw him again, she'd beat him into the dirt. So instead, she waited outside the door until her new friend came. In all of her luck though, a voice came from her left.

"Koda Berus! How funny to see ya here!!"

It was the boyfriend. She glared at him before rolling her eyes and looking away.

"Oh come on, no reason to be shy, girly."

he said as he then touched her waist and tried to get a kiss. 'Girly'? Really?? He'd have better said his prayers, because now he was dead.

"Really Seth? I thought you had more class then that. I also thought you had a better sense about yourself as well, because now I'm going to definitely kill you."

she responded, putting her hand on his, freezing it. As she did this, she glared at him and her started glowing and icy blue. Seth grew fearful and jumped away holding his hand. Taking her left hand and lashing it towards him, she froze him solid, fearful look and all. She then gave a two fingered salute to a drunk man who came out the bar, getting ready to hit on her until he saw Seth and looked to her. Koda smirked and leaned against the wall again, placing a foot on the wall and crossing her arms as he ran off quickly.

OOC: I'm so sorry for the length!! It wound up being much longer than I though XD

"Do unfreeze the fool. Killing civilians, idiots or not, without good reason, isn't exactly how a Jedi should behave."

A large hand had laid itself on Koda's shoulder from behind. As Koda hadn't concealed her Force presence, it was more or less a homing beacon for the Jedi Master to identify her. Sure, it was possible she wasn't a Jedi at all, but considering he'd been told to meet a Jedi here, and the only Force User with an aura clearly discernible enough to know it was an active Force User was this girl... Well, it was simple enough to put it all together.

Should she turn, she would find a 6'4 man standing behind her. Cloaked in brown Jedi robes, his hood had come off when he had reached his hand out, exposing his face. He had a youthful face, and yet the experience of a Jedi was written all over it. He looked to be in his early to mid 20s, with golden-blonde hair and brimming brown eyes. But below those were a frown expressed from his lips, in disapproval. Where Josh had come from? Who knows? It was possible he'd heard the commotion from within the bar. Or was hanging by the entrance to see if he could sense her.

Letting out a sigh, he would decide to simply handle the matter himself, removing his hand from her shoulder and placing it on the block of ice. Closing his eyes, his hand would begin to radiate heat as it would glow a bit, and the ice would quickly begin to melt. Once the idiot was unfrozen, the Jedi would give him a light kick, motioning for him to leave, his expression and tone turning cold and stern. "Saved your arse, but you still harassed the girl. I was about to punch your block off myself before she took care of it. Get going."

And with that, he would turn to the girl herself.

"I assume you're my partner?"

[member="Koda Berus"]

Koda sensed someone behind her. She sighed as a hand was then placed upon her shoulder and her asked her to unfreeze the two faced jerk. Hearing him say that she had to have a good reason, she pulled her hood off her head, revealing her own light blonde hair and turned to look at him, an eyebrow raised and a slightly sarcastic smirk on her face as the glowing of her icy blue eyes died down to her usual light blue. She was met with a tall golden haired man with brown eyes. He didn't seem exactly thrilled, but she had at least gotten some fun before the mission.

"Well.. I've known that two faced jerk for a few years. I do have my reasons."

she responded, her smirk fading into a non emotional face. People may have thought Koda wasn't a Jedi, but she was. She just had some past issues she needed help to get through. Not to mention she had a mind of her own and sassing ran through her blood. As the man then stepped forward, moving his hand from her shoulder to the block of ice, she noticed as he melted him, bringing him back to his human form. Seth still had a fearful look on his face and when he looked to Koda, she gave him one last glare before he ran off. Then the man turned back to Koda asking if she was the one he was meeting with. Nodding, she held out her hand introducing herself.

"Yes sir. I'm Koda Berus."

~ [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] ~

A cheeky smirk was brought to his lips at her remarks, ignoring the man apparently but an eye following him as he ran. Always wary, Josh was. No matter what was going on. But his eyes would return to meet hers, and he would shake his head at her words.

"Darling, I watched the whole thing, it was minor hitting on harassment. I've had it happen to me plenty. No need to kill 'em, just send them packing" He would crack in turn. Oh, he could meet sass with a bit of sass of his own, and in spades. "I mean, by your logic, I could have killed you for trying to kill him, and I'd be totally justified by the Jedi for doing so. Right?" Josh would add, grinning wryly. His expression, his tone, everything had changed. He seemed amused at the whole thing, and he really was.

He chuckled once more, before extending his hand and shaking hers.

"Josh DragonsFlame. A pleasure."

[member="Koda Berus"]

Koda watched as he grew a smirk of his own and shook his head. Maybe he was enjoying this more than she thought. If he only knew where some of those scars of hers had come from. Most were from the kid she just iced. Either way, she listened to what he was saying with a hand on her hip. After he finished, her eyes widened for a second before narrowing and glowing slightly and a small smirk as he left her with nothing to say. It was an odd thing. With the ice powers she had, her eyes glowed at the most inappropriate times. This was one of those times. She briefly looked to the side as she crossed her arms and rested on her left hip and then looked back to him with an not so amused look.

"Ok fine.. you win this one. One, because I got nothin else to say and two, I don't know you too well yet."

she responded. Once his hand shook hers and he told her his name, she tilted her head to the side for a second, taking a second look at him. She knew that name.. yes of course the master back at the Temple told her his name, but even then she recognized it slightly.

"Josh? That's a nice name."

Koda said, still having a small look of curiosity on her face.

~ [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] ~

Oh he definitely was. Josh was a sarcastic little chit, people found out in time. Sure, he was dead serious when it came to it, and could be as stoic as one expected for a Jedi Master to be. But with the need for it out of the way, Josh was back to being himself, the snarky, sarcastic little smartass that would sass just about everything. It was part of his charm, really. Who said that being 25 meant you weren't young anymore? Because it didn't. He was totally still a young man, and he could freely be as sassy as he damn well pleased. Even if not everyone in the Jedi approved. But hey, he'd managed to become Grandmaster once. While still being sassy. It clearly didn't hurt anything.

"Ok fine.. you win this one. One, because I got 'nothin else to say and two, I don't know you too well yet."

"And here I thought it was because of one, my dashing good looks, and two, my charm" The Jedi Master would quip back, another grin following that. The question then followed, why the change of attitude? Sure, there was the "No need for the stoicness" thing, but there was also a chance he was simply allowing himself to fit into a side of him that worked more with who he was dealing with. Who knows with him, right? Nonetheless, this was definitely him, no act needed. The how and the why, despite dealing with an unruly Padawan who usually would demand a stoic and more stern stance on them? Who knows?

"Josh? That's a nice name."

"And Koda is a pretty name, matching a pretty face" Josh would tease back cheekily, as he would release her hand. He was primarily joking around of course, even if his words were generally what he legitimately thought. Josh wasn't a man to lie, after all. There had been plenty of things said about him, spread around the Jedi. Some talked about his interesting, sometimes enigmatic personality. Others talked about the fact they couldn't figure him out, as though he never seemed to let people in truly, despite his laid-back nature. One thing spread was that at one point in his Jedi career, Master DragonsFlame had been a serious heartthrob. That was the one that made him laugh, really. He hadn't flirted -that- much back then... Had he? Alright, maybe a little... Although he'd definitely toned down in the years that followed. If challenged in the flirting department though... Well, there was a chance he still had it in him. Part of him awaited the day a certain person would find the courage to try that herself. He really -did- want to test that with her, deep down.

"Alas, are we going straight to the mission, or were you intending to get a drink first?" The Jedi would inquire. Most people didn't make plans to meet at a cantina without at least grabbing a drink on the way out, so common courtesy followed. Although he wouldn't mind grabbing one himself for the road.

[member="Koda Berus"]

Josh had only witnessed a fraction of what she could do in personality. She was able to go undercover and act so well, that she was believable as that person. Koda herself had sass beyond belief and her sarcastic level was just as good. The masters in the Temple didn't exactly like her sassy attitude. In fact a few of the Padawans called her out on it, but she didn't care. Everyone soon accepted her for it after a while. Anytime it was reported, the one reporting it was told to forget about it, because she was never really ever going to change. Hearing what he said, a smirk grew back onto her face.

"Maybe that too, but that wasn't exactly on my mind at the moment."

she responded. They could probably do this all day, but they didn't have time for it. He had a very quick change of attitude towards her, another thing they had in common. They were two smartasses who could switch their personas in half a second. Koda didn't know why he was being nicer to her . Nobody really ever cared about her. Maybe it was just because he was a Jedi as well. Then hearing him something about her face mathcing her name well, a slight blush still came across her face. She still remembered fighting a Sith once and she made him stop fighting with one kiss. It was hilarious, but even he couldn't beat her to a drinking game.Hell, that's why they kissed because he had gotten so drunk and wouldn't shut up, so she kissed him.

"Thank you."

she responded. 'Thank you' was literally all she could say to that. Pretty wasn't exactly a word said to her once. Especially being about her. She was a monster and a "Phantom" to everyone. Losing her parents and brother at such a young age, she shut everybody out, becoming a very confusing person. She developed a no-care attitude, though she did care. Koda was a very tough person, but in the company of herself, she was truly broken. Nobody knew of her past, nor would she tell anyone she didn't trust. Coming out of her thoughts, she heard him asing about drinks and the mission.

"Well, I haven't been briefed on the mission yet. One of the masters at the Temple said he'd notify me once I met up with you.. maybe I'll have to let him know we found each other unless you want to have the honor of doing so. Anyway, we are standing next to a bar, it wouldn't hurt to get one drink."

she responded. After all, who would meet at a bar and at least not get something?

~ [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] ~

And she had only seen a taste of what he could say when the situation merited it. Josh had never stopped being a loose cannon, really. He just... Toned it down a little to be at the more... Family friendly level. With time and experience came age, and with age came wisdom. So knowing when to do and what to do at that time, had become a critical part of his arsenal. What he would say and do throughout the course of this mission? Well, it seemed that Koda would just have to figure it out for herself as time went on, wouldn't she?

"Almost got my hopes up" He joked, chuckling a tad. He wasn't the flirt that he used to be, but he could still make jokes here and there at least, even if this had been very minor. He would merely smile to her thanks, before motioning toward the bar.

"Must as well" He remarked. "We haven't been briefed yet, so no harm in getting a drink on the way. Depending on where our mission will be, we may have a long flight there as well, if we're going by ship, so no regrets on the alcohol intake" Josh would crack, not sure if she was of age or not but the joke still stood, laughing a bit as he headed inside. Once inside, he would order himself a drink and once poured, take it with him to a table near the corner, just out of the way, preferring not to be disturbed when he went to cantinas. He would sit down, and casually sip his beverage as he waited for the Padawan.

[member="Koda Berus"]

Along with her sassy and sarcastic attitude, deceiving was another thing of hers. Just like Josh said that he thought she had nothing to say was about his good looks and to be honest, it partly was, but she loved deceiving people into believing that it was something completely different. She did this all the time and seeing peoples' reactions always kept her spirit up. Sure it was evil, but at times, some people played along or they just deserved it. Koda laughed upon hearing him say that he almost had his hopes up.

"That's the way of the game."

she responded, giving a small wink. It was true, she did play that way and she was good at it. Almost an expert, but not quite there yet. After all, it couldn't be a regular practice with no real master or a rival within the Order. She saw his smile and beckon and she followed him into the bar. She had just turned 18, but she had been challenged in drinking competitions since she was 16, so alcohol was nothing new. She just decided to get something subtle instead of something strong like a whiskey or vodka.

"Very true.. I tend to not get anything that strong anyway, so I'll be good."

she responded. As he went to the bar and ordered something and then went to a table in the corner. As the bartender asked er what she would like, she ordered a Corellian beer and once it was given to her, she went over to the table and sat down.

~ [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] ~

Deceit wasn't something Josh liked to do. He didn't play that game. Sure, some called him a mystery, but... Talking to him, he was always so upfront and blunt. He didn't tend to pull punches, most of the time, and would say just exactly what was on his mind unless the situated merited that he act otherwise. He was an open book, and yet an enigma at the same time. He was open and honest, but there was so much that people didn't know about him... He heard the whispers in the halls, of course. But it didn't matter.

Because people didn't ever think to just ask.

The way of the game, huh? Little minx she was, clearly. An amused smirk crossed his lips at that and he merely shook his head. "You're not the first minxful little Padawan I've met, you won't be the last" He would tease. "Let's see how you hold up."

A laugh escaped him though, when she deigned not to get anything strong.

"If we weren't about to go on mission, I'd call you a coward. Perhaps another time..." He cracked, as he would sit down, and order something light himself. He'd probably drink something much heavier once he was home. Something told him that after dealing with this chick, he'd need it.

[member="Koda Berus"]

Koda was honest. She didn't exactly know Josh too well and it was known that when she got to know people, she pulled them every which way until she was comfortable with the outcome. Underneath all of this, she was a sweet and loyal, caring girl who was broken. Koda didn't trust too many people the way she wished to. Everytime she had, she had been hurt or cheated.

As he realized that she was playing a game, she saw the smirk grow across his face. She grew up in the game and she lived it. Now she played it. When he said that she was the little minx, it was pretty accurate. She was still young and still had time to make a life for herself.

"I bet I'm probably one of the best though."

she smirked, winking an eye.

"But, challenge accepted."

she responded. A laugh could be heard from Josh and Koda gave a small smile before following him into the bar. While they waited for their drinks, she looked over to Josh, hearing his comment on her drinking choices.

"Ehh.. wouldn't be the worst name on the list. I've gone pretty strong before, but since we're going on a mission, I think I want to still think straight."

She said. Koda had gotten drunk once and it didn't end up very well. But he would definitely be needing a drink after this mission.

~ [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] ~

She'd find a kindred soul in him, most likely. Loyalty to a fault, until the day he'd been betrayed by his very brothers and sisters, Josh was no longer as trusting as he was. He trusted few, and even then rarely ever fully. He knew what it was like to give everything you had toward something, and then to have what you worked toward, who you trusted... Just turn and stab you in the back when it first benefited them and their agenda. He was always cautious, even if his casual personality didn't indicate it.

"Considering you haven't forwardly attempted to charm me into the bedroom on the first meeting, I wouldn't say that" He would joke, chuckling as he indicated that one prior to her had indeed attempted this. "I will say I learned the hard way how Echani view their sparring sessions. Though I suppose the lack of clothing probably should have been my first indicator" Josh would add, with a grin. He had been a business-minded thinker then... Only seeing the practical side of things back then and not thinking of the personal implications until later. Most things he looked at as "How can I use this to benefit our cause?" or "How can I merge this combat style into my own?" depending on the circumstances.

That's what happens when your entire life is consumed by a someone else's cause.

"Tell you what" He spoke as their drinks arrived. "We'll put your money where your mouth is after the mission, how about?" The Jedi Master would offer. Since she wasn't one of his students, he could be lenient with her. Usually he kept things far more professional with Padawans, but as she wasn't under his tutelage... Well, she was just another Jedi at this point.

[member="Koda Berus"]

Another similarity the two would have was a brother. When their parents died, he had vowed to protect her, but he had been conspiring with dark forces and he left her to fend for herself. She hadn't seen or heard of him since. Koda had been looking and looking for years, but always came upon a dead end and meeting new people on the way. That was probably the best thing while looking for him; finding new people while traveling the universe to find her brother. She made friends on the way, but she also developed enemies. She was on the road to recovery with the Jedi as she had already lived in the dark for way too long. Much longer than any Jedi should.

Hearing what Josh was saying about her approach to him, she raised an eyebrow snorting and nearly started laughing at the description he gave.

"The way someone dresses can be very important Josh. Especially if they're wearing nothing at all.. That should have been your main indicator that she was bad news. But yeah.. I don't think I could top that other than trying to kill you upon meeting you for the f
irst time.."

She responded with a raised eyebrow still remaining. Koda had a practical mind when the time depended on it, but more often than not, she had a wild imagination and she always had this curiosity about her that no one or nothing could shake. When their drinks came after a little while, Koda looked over to Josh, listening to him as she took a sip of her drink.

"Sounds like a deal to me."

Koda replied with a smirk. She was definitely liking this guy. They were pretty similar in a few ways, except she never had proper training except from when she lived with a family friend. He was killed though not long after her parents.

~ [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] ~

A laugh escaped him in turn. "Oh plenty of people have tried to kill me in sight. The nearly naked sparring was far more of a surprising first impression then that" He would joke. "I mean, you're free to try and beat what she did if you want, but I can't guarantee I won't start throwing headbutts this time" Josh would add, with another chuckle. "I come prepared this time."

With the deal made, it seemed the two had made friends in this instance. So he would down his drink and casually say cheers to it all.

"So tell me a bit about yourself, Koda. What was your motivation behind joining the Jedi? It's not exactly the easiest job" He would remark, smirking in turn. Speak for yourself, he supposed, he didn't really have a choice, he was conscripted at the age of five.

[member="Koda Berus"]

Hearing his laugh, she took a sip of her drink and turned to look at him, listening to what he was saying about his previous experience with others who have tried killing him and his challenge for her to try to beat the naked lady incident. There was no way she could beat that. Koda was crazy, but not completely insane enough to remove her clothes in public.

"Hmm.. not sure I could beat a crazy naked lady. I'm not that insane. Pretty sure she had a few drinks before you met up. Her mind was clearly not on your mission. My only advantage is ice and that is limited to a point.."

she responded. Koda had ice as an advantage, but she only knew so much, such as freezing her ex boyfriend and scaring people with it. It was a strong power to have within the force and rare one from what she had heard. As he lifted up his drink, Koda did as well, taking another sip before she then heard that one question of how she got into the Jedi. Setting her drink down, she looked to Josh.

"Well.. I didn't exactly have the greatest childhood. I lost my parents at a very young age and I am now 18. My dad was a Jedi and my mother was a sorceress. My brother Zack is/was a force wielder as well. When my parents died, we both went into a bad spot. It was when I discovered my ice powers and the force. A friend of our family was taking care of us, but one day, Zack came home with a look in his eyes. He attacked our friend, defeated him and then went after me.. He gave me the biggest scar of all. I lost my trust in people at that time too.. I was played too many times afterwards. After that I left and lived on the streets and in our old home until I was chased out by imps. I had been captured a few times, literally went crazy and made some bad decisions. I still feel the pain from then, my broken bones were never fixed. But after a while of realizing what I had done I found that I had disobeyed the Jedi code. Finding the closest group of Jedi, they took me in and helped heal me. I told them the same story I'm telling you now and they took me in. I still stand out because I went crazy but I'm learning. The masters there are helping me, but I don't have one to train me personally. I'm all self taught. My motivation was to cure myself from becoming a beacon of evil. It was for my parents and Zack.. I have set out to find him, but I still have yet to."

she had a long story and she didn't want to chat his ear off but to be fair, he asked.

~ [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] ~

[SIZE=10.5pt]"I mean, she wasn't -naked- really... Just almost naked, as I said. She still wore... Well, enough for her modesty" He would admit, laughing in turn as they would continue to drink and make conversation. [/SIZE]

"Yes, yes, I know, I'll keep that in mind next I'm paired up with a woman on mission" He would remark, with a chuckle in turn. "My advice if the same ever happens to you? Avoid Zeltros. Always avoid Zeltros. Because what happens in Zeltros doesn't always stay in Zeltros" Josh would joke, seeming to find humor in this whole thing. Oh, he'd seen what happened to people who went to Zeltros. He was lucky, he'd learned to develop a resistance to the pheromones of Zeltros. He let himself slide in that a bit and almost paid for it, but he'd stopped the other party in time.

So in turn he would listen to her story. It did give him a little bit of perspective on why she was as she was, and he would nod his head along with her story to indicate he'd been listening, not seeming to mind that it had gone a little long.

"I haven't really had a choice" He would admit. "I was conscripted at the age of five, and have served since. For better, and for worse."

[member="Koda Berus"]

As Josh tried to explain what he had seen with the woman, she couldn't help but laugh. They seemed to get along well even though, their first impression wasn't the greatest, but he at least got to see Koda's bad side without provoking it. They would soon see it again though after they got to wherever they were being sent for the mission. Hearing hat he said after, she laughed again.

"I'll definitely remember that if and when I get there."

she responded with a slight giggle. Koda hadn't been to Zeltros yet, but she bet that she would sometime in her future. He then listened to her life story which, she was happy to know he had been listening and didn't seem to mind that she had just been rambling on. In turn, she listened to him and his story. Simple, but typical for a Jedi. Most were conscripted when they were young. Koda would have been, but her life took a wrong turn and she came in when she was older, with the mentality of a Padawan other than a youngling, due to how much training she had done on her own.

First impressions weren’t always the best, but well, who judged based simply on a first impression? That was how you missed the goods ones. They didn’t always have he most luck or behave just the right way for a first impression. You just had to give them a chance, and sometimes you would find yourself very much impressed. He smirked in turn at her response in regards to Zeltros “Pheromones and spiked drinks, honey. Avoid them at all costs. Avoid suspicious looking folks too but that’s a bit easier to do.
