Jedi and a Mission

For Koda, you had to give her a few chances generally. With Josh though?? Ehh.. she seemed to warm up to him pretty well. She was surprised and never really noticed it until they were part way into the conversation. He seemed to be a pretty cool guy though for a Jedi master. Some were too prim and proper, but he was himself.. maybe that's what it was. Going back to their conversation, Koda kept listening to him and gave a slight laugh to what he said.

"Hmm.. I'll definitely stay away from parties and bars then.. I'll also watch my step.. and then if the people try to do something.. I'll just give them a piece of my mind."

she responded, lifting her hand and creating a medium sized snowflake with quite a bit of detail. Watching the snowflake, it floated above her hand with it's own bit of light. Thinking back to his story, it had been quite short in comparison to hers, but if he didn't want to say anymore than he did, she was ok with that.

All of a sudden, Koda jumped from the beeping coming from one of the two comms. Looking at hers, she realized it was her own. Looking to Josh for a second, she picked it up and pressed the button and acknowledged she was there before anyone on the other side spoke and she tried her best to make sure only she and Josh could hear the comm.

"Hello Koda. I had some trouble reaching Josh so I contacted you. I've just been informed on your mission. There were reports of a robbery at one of the smaller Temples on Voss. A group of pirates and a Sith were found in the temple from security recordings. I went to see if there was anything I could help with after the robbery and I found that there were multiple kyber crystals missing along with three holocrons. A young padawan of ours witnessed this as well and was able to place a tracker on their ship before they left. Our last scans show that they landed on Felucia.. good luck with the mission. I'll keep you updated if we see any changes. May the force be with you."

Koda looked to Josh with a look as she was in thought, but then she snapped out of it and smirked.

"Let's go get these pirates.."

she responded.

(Sorry about that, only catching up on posts now)

His trust issues would always be a, well, issue, but it appeared he had at the least warmed up to Koda quite well for the time being. Time would tell if she would continue to give him a reason to even remotely trust her. Josh was far more casual then most Jedi she was going to meet, that was a fact. He wasn't the type to really, well, be all prim and proper and formal. He could do it if he had to, of course. It was as he had been taught to do... But outside of when it was needed, why bother? He didn't like to be fake at all, and he wasn't going to work well with anyone by being fake, nah uh.

He chuckled at her remarks, and watched the snowflake move up a bit before playfully letting his finger summon a small candle-shaped flame from the tip before tapping the snowflake with it, shooting her a light grin. He didn't seem bothered by the beep of her communicator, actually he was expecting hers or his to go eventually.

"Huh... Mine must be on the fritz" He remarked as he listened, tapping his own communicator a few times with a quirked brow. But with that, he would pay for his drinks and get up. He wasn't buzzed at all really, and any dulling effects would pass before they reached Felucia.

"We can use my ship then. Final Dragon's a fast SOK, should get us to where we need to go in no time."
