- Sandwich Construction: A single sheet of Defensa cloth, despite appearing relatively thin at casual observation, is actually made out of several layers. A pair of armorweave sheets sandwiches a thin film of thermal gel in which barabel microbes are suspended. This armorweave sandwich is then linked together with burthan thread stitching whose intervals are dependent on how large the thermal gel pockets are intended to be (and thus defining flexibility and stiffness as well). Lastly, the cloth is dipped into a spun-plast solution in order to receive a waterproof coating which can provide some additional durability against physical threats and provide some minor insulation to ensure that the dormant microbes receive some insulation from environmental extremes.
- Cloth Substitute: Defensa is a fairly lightweight and flexible material, allowing it to be used as a substitution for armorweave and many other fabrics in most pieces of clothing.
- Self-Sealing: Defensa is a self-sealing material, which can be useful in protecting its wearer from certain threats. When the material is penetrated, the spun-plast almost immediately reverts to its last relative location. In small penetrations, this reversion may be enough on its own to seal the material (especially if heat was applied such as from a blaster, causing the spun-plast edges to melt together). In larger penetrations from energy weapons, the microbes rapidly multiply and fill in the gap before dying off just as quickly, once again sealing the material. Penetrations from larger kinetic threats and other weapons tend to be more effective and the self-sealing process tends to be less effective. If an attack involves heat, the microbes may be triggered to a degree to multiply just as in an energy attack, but typically to a lesser degree.
- Comlink Gauntlet (Right Gauntlet): The Guardian Armor's right gauntlet features a built-in SC-1 Hardened Comlink, providing a convenient means for the armor's users to keep in contact with their allies.
- Ascension Cable Launcher (Left Gauntlet): The Guardian Armor's left gauntlet includes an ascension cable launcher with a power winch, allowing the armor's users to easily move up and down vertical surfaces or swing across chasms and similar obstacles. It can also be used as an impromptu weapon by creative users.
- Utility Belt: The Guardian Armor comes with a utility belt, but takes it one step further equipped with compartments made out of the same armor plating as the rest of the suit. Each belt contains the following equipment: a spool of high tension wire, one grappling hook, two power packs, three ion flares (for illumination or emergency signaling), a combat de-ionizer, a Pneuma-series Rebreather, a FastMed Emergency Medpac, and four ration packs.
- Built-in Back Sheathes: An option for Long Handle Lightsabers like
Caltin Vanagor 's Conservator to sheathe onto and over the back is an optionsas these weapons cannot simply clip to a belt.
- Brass Knuckles: "Not Very Jedi-Like", these weapons are equipped to the armor as well and detachable at any time.
- Force Affinity: Altered with force-infused materials that imbue to the Jedi wearing them a standard slew of protections and capabilities. The ability to better resist the dark side influence, ease the access to learn skills that have been practiced, and feeling generally more energized and lively.
- Force Resistance: Not pure resistance to the force but its influences specifically the Darkside.
- Force Enlightenment: A general enhancement of the specific Jedi's talents in the light side of the force. They don't know everything but using their own abilities is easier, sharper focus.
- Revitalize: A more robust feeling mentally and physically aids in calming the mind and body to focus.
- Insight: With the hood up the mental capabilities of the Jedi to observe and feel their surroundings is greatly enhanced.
- Precognition: The hood when worn and focused on improving the precognitive capabilities of the Jedi wearing it.
- Telekinesis: The hood and wrists are designed to improve the focus of telekinetic abilities.
- FORCE AFFINITY: While not the first set of armor to be imbued with the Force, this is the most cohesive, capable of multiple different ideals and affinities.
- REMARKABLY MOBILE: Let's be clear, this is NOT a normal "Jedi" armor" it's a big set. However the design is made for a Jedi who will jump into the middle of a fight, more than willing to take a shot or two in order for their friends to find openings to get involved. It isn't lightweight, but it will not hold you back.
- FORCE AFFINITY? WHAT ABOUT NULLIFICATION?: While this is a strong advantage in many cases, it can come at a cost. These enhancements can help you, but only "help" you still must be capable of each skill before the armor can enhance your skill. If you rely too much on the armor, it will come at the cost of draining your energy and tiring you out that much faster. On top of that, when you come across a point where the Force is being suppressed, this will actually compound to that drain and cost, making this armor heavier than you want to be, and slow you down.
- STILL CLUNKY: This set is indeed deceptively mobile, but you still need to put it on when you reach the destination. If you are riding in a transport where you can stand, that is one thing. However it is not meant for "day to day" use and fitting into speeders or ship seats.
- "GUARDIAN" ARMOR: While this set is for any Jedi who wish to use it, let's face it, it is called "Guardian Armor" for a reason. It is combat oriented, and while a Shadow, or a Temple Guard (to whom the design does borrow influence from), could get by, it is not for everyone.
Jedi Armor has a long if somewhat controversial history among the galaxy's force-users, with some eschewing it entirely because of beliefs such it impeding their ability to use the Force or it being uncomfortable or too warlike. But in times of prolonged conflict, whether during the Great Galactic War or the Clone Wars, Jedi commonly have donned such suits to better protect themselves from the rigors of battle. With its long association with the Silver Jedi Concord, Lucerne Personal Defense stepped up to make a standardized set of Jedi Armor that was plain enough to assuage some Jedi's concerns of technological reliance yet durable enough to provide a meaningful benefit on the battlefield. To that end, Knight Plate largely followed the tradition of Jedi Robes, being simple enough in form and construction to the point where it could easily be misidentified as the battle armor of countless civilizations throughout the galaxy. Its technological features are few and largely focused on simple utility: a comlink for communication, an ascension cable launcher for ease of vertical transport, and a utility belt not too unlike the old Jedi Utility Belt used just prior to the Clone Wars. While relatively cheap compared to many high-tech armors being produced in the galaxy, the quality of the armor's plating and the general Jedi thought that one should become reliant on technology (especially at the Padawan level) means that the armor has only been produced in limited numbers for Jedi Knights and Masters.
The Guardian Armor borrows influence from several sources, and while in some cases it is "big", it is not necessarily meant to be the type that you could use for every single solitary mission. What it is for is when you are going into a situation you where you need to balance every potential disadvantage you might have. The principle designer of the armor,

... and for you Jedi out there who are not of the "Guardian" Faith? Do not worry, he has plans for you.
