LFG Jedi Padawan in need of character development

Sounds doable, I had a plan for Rath to venture into Hoth to investigate an ancient jedi tomb encased in ice that had recently been uncovered due to a expedition crew that went too far into an ice cave. It could be a labyrinth-like maze that allows you to reach the tomb or something.

Sounds good. I'll let you set the scene.

Do you have a master in mind as another pc or npc? What themes do you wanna explore with their present dynamic?

This could work i just need to know some que cards a little so to speak

It would be Starlin Rand Starlin Rand leading the team, as he has a history with both Eloise and the cult in question.

Well, Eloise thinks things are cool between her and Braze. They're not friends but they're not enemies. However, based on my snooping in yours and Diogo's threads it looks like Braze has some lingering feelings regarding El, idk if it's resentment or what's going on with him. But I think it could be worthwhile to explore, especially if they're in a situation where they have to work together to survive finish the mission.

Also, if Braze joins the team will be Padawan > Knight > Master rather than two Padawans and a Master.

Braze still holds onto the opinions he formed from his first interactions, but he doesn't actively dislike her or wish anything bad on her. He doesn't entirely understand why Diogo Talon was upset with him, so he's made some (wrong) assumptions. From his perspective, those opinions may take time to shift, but they aren't rooted in hatred—just personal viewpoints that might evolve over time.

Exploring that dynamic with Paddie < Knight < Master could be interesting. Right now, he's in a place of uncertainty, wanting to learn from others about what it means to be a good teacher—how to recognize what someone needs and help them find it. He's becoming more self-aware, more self-conscious.

I'm intentionally playing him in this awkward space; where he's in a position he isn't sure he deserves, yet surrounded by peers who are still Padawans or older friends who are navigating the same uncertainties.

What do you hope to see from Eloise's development within that dynamic?

I see some potential for them developing a more professional relationship, even if they don't become close. There's room for that middle ground where they don't necessarily like each other but develop a functional dynamic, maybe it's begrudging respect, or maybe it's just an understanding that they don't need to be on the same page to work toward the same goals.

There's an opportunity for them to prove each other wrong and find some level of understanding, likely breaking assumptions in the process. It could be interesting to see how Eloise challenges or unintentionally subverts the opinnions / assumptions over time. Maybe she does something completely unexpected that forces Braze to reconsider what he assumed about her, or even how he feels about her.

For a more frictional route there could be the possibility that she might question his choices or call him out, even unintentionally, pushing them both forward. If she sees his uncertainty, does she respect it, exploit it, or misunderstand it? That kind of vibe.

Does any of that seem of interest?

Sure I guess I can fight you too-oh

The Last Son
Eloise is the "kill all Sith on sight" type, so she probably wouldn't talk it out even if she could lol. If you want to radicalize your boy against the Jedi after having him face the El, we can duel. Otherwise we could invent a scenario where they have to work together (i.e. captured and need to escape) if you don't want it immediately escalating to a fight.
Awww such a sour puss. Well, instead of us getting captured, if it was a mission that you had to complete and we were of like minds, would that work?

Also, Delsin doesn't present himself as Sith. He wears basic clothing or just Echani fiber armor. Only real say to tell is that he has a dark presence. Which could be anything.

I was going to follow that trend and post a feedback thread, but then realized El has only interacted with like 2-3 characters with any degree of depth, which would make it hard to offer feedback lol. Plus I’m low on threads at the moment, so gimme some more.

Eloise is a Jedi Padawan with a reputation for being headstrong and brutally honest. She started out as a bully but has since mellowed out, though she’s still pretty outspoken. Her parents were Sith and she ran away from home, but still has to deal with the shadow of her heritage/upbringing. She’s a berserker built on brute strength and raw power.

I don’t have anything specific in mind. I’m open to connections, allies, friends, enemies, rivals, etc.

I'm always happy to make more friends among Jedi!

The Force side of life is currently a gap in his overall story and so meeting new friends with a similar background/upbringing could do well to tip the scales in his favor, certainly.

Always happy to thread with new faces :D

Reason I suggested they both be captured is cuz Eloise would be restrained and Delsin thus wouldn’t immediately catch her hands. Anything else feels like it would be pushing the envelope with what she would accept as far as a ceasefire goes.

Your character reeks of corruption, but that could mean anything?…

Idk man, I don’t think Eloise is compatible with what you’re going for with your character. Don’t get me wrong, I used to be into the whole “tainted by the Dark but is actually a good person” schtick back when I was writing a Sithspawn Jedi. But now I have no more interest in entertaining such ideas, at least not with Eloise. You write a Dark Sider, you’re a villain in her book.

WolfMortum? It’s been a while. Your Arenais guy almost trained Eloise’s mother way back in like 2021, lol.

Can you give me a description of Balun’s Force User… vibes? Since it looks like he's no longer a Jedi, what exactly is he?

It's a small Galaxy here on Chaos :p Although Balun is somewhat different from my typical characters, still very much a Lightsider and was raised by the NJO up until the age of 15 where he left of his own accord, but he still see's the New Jedi Order as a second-family after being reunited with his Father.

Now, he's trying to make a difference without claiming to the mantle of Jedi. He's a bit of a jack of all trades, master of none. A Shipwright and a Force User, a Rebel and lastly considers himself a Ranger - Free-roaming Space for the adventure while looking to make a positive impact where he can with his diverse range of skills.

So...He can be anywhere, and the potential plots are many ;)
