Jin-Teel Welcome

Wu rubbed and looked at her master taking the compliment with a nod of her head. Where she might be able to look around. "I'll be alright, it was just surprising. I haven't really tried anything like that." She was looking at some of it so that she would be able to train and hopefully seem somewhat impressive in her skills. Wu stood as tall as she could looking at her master and wiped at the small streaks of tears but she wasn't feeling pain right now, just a dull ache she couldn't control for them. "I am ready to continue master, it was just something to remember to avoid int he future." DOn't stand in the way of flying objects."

"If you're sure, then we'll continue, but then let's move."

She stood up from the bench, then stretched her arms as she stood out in the clearing.

"Okay, we're going to try to transfer the pebbles between hands, but this time, it will be you to me. This is a good time to practice control. Visualization is a core component of telekinesis. Visualize in your head carefully moving the pebble from your palm to mine. A nice slow, gentle flight."

She held her hand out forward to catch pebble. She wasn't too worried about Wu having another mishap with the stone. She would be able to react and protect herself with no issue. However, she wanted to present herself as a means to help Wu focus on exercising more precision out of a concern for her well-being.

Take it slow, visualize where you wanted it to go and how you wanted it to look. Wu could do that as she was looking at everything they had going on and there was a small nod of her head. Seeing the pebbles with herself prepared to make them go between her hands and her masters hands. First to make sure she had control she stayed there for a moment. Allowing the pebbles to hover and almost juggle between her hands and the air. FOr a little while until she felt comfortable with it so she could send it lightly with a soft touch of the force and control towards her master easing it and adjusting her stance so that she was prepared to shifted it and make it more into a circular motion that would let her push and pull the stones.

Arisa couldn't help but smile as she watched and felt Wu handling the pebble with much more control this time. Her success made Arisa feel more confident in her teaching method, as instruction was new territory for the junior Knight.

"Very good," Arisa complimented right after the pebble landed in her hand. "Much better than the first time around. Visualization is key, remember that."

"Now, let's have a little back and forth for a while, to get you used to control."

She directed the pebble back to Wu's palm, the arc of the
pebble smooth without a single sign of wobble. While moving the pebble, she remained completely still, in contrast to the way Wu had been motioning to make her move.

She was letting the force remain here, time passing between them as Wu continued to train the force skills. Letting her mind ebb and flow with force energies as over time her and her master were spending it training and minutes felt like hours where they could keep the momentum flowing between the jedi themselves. Arisa was a skilled master that was showing Wu a lot in their time between lesson and she was finding working in the kitchen just fine once they gave her a small step stool she could stand on to work with all of the other kitchen staff. Wu found herself coming back out to meet her master after a couple of weeks of trainign and her body was loose, worked out so she could feel it in her muscles. "Evening master."

Two Weeks Later:

After a few more encounters, Arisa decided that she would indeed take on Wu as her first official Padawan. She arranged for them to meet in a small conference room to go over expectations, and begin the first lessons in the Jedi way of life.

"Thank you for joining me today. After much consideration, I believe that I would like you as my apprentice. However, I wanted to go over a few last requirements before we make that commitment."

"Within the Silver Jedi Order, I work as an investigator and military commander. I have additional responsibilities on my home planet of Kiribi as its Watchman. What that means, is that you're going to be on the road a lot away from Voss as I carry out my duties to both the Silver Order, and the Kiribian Systems Union."

"While in training, in the early stage, I will not require you to participate in these activities, and honestly I'd rather you not while you're getting the hang of things. That said, you will be expected to work in at least a support capacity. When I'm working, you will be doing the same in some form."

"As far as philosophy on alignment goes, I take an alternate view in than some of my peers. As the world is a complicated place, so are individuals. There is no black and white, and to think in such ways limits your flexibility and ability to grow. Rather than steer clear of the Dark Side, you will learn to confront it, and then master it within yourself to become the best person and Jedi that you can be."

"If you're fine with these conditions, then I will accept you as my apprentice."

Wu had been spending the time for herself, with a chance that she would be able to better do. She had improved mostly in her use of basic and working with all of the other padawans. A couple ideas coming to herself so that she would be looking over at it. "Ah I understand." She said it while listening to it with a small nod of her head aout what she would be doing with the jedi knight herself. She knew there was a lot more that would be going into her being a jedi and that she would have to handle that for herself. She would need to work on it until she was prepared allowing herself to be ready. "I am fine with this."

Arisa smiled, both for the fact that Wu had accepted her terms, and was speaking Basic more clearly. For now, while she was trying to teach Wu about the Jedi, she would still be speaking in Wu's native tongue with her implant handling translation.

"Well then, with that, it's official, you're now my apprentice."

There would probably be no special ceremony to commemorate the event, but she may treat Wu out to some fancy meal upon her return to Kiribi.

"For the next week, your days with me are going to look like this. We'll meet in the morning before breakfast for physical and Force exercises, then after some freshening up and breakfast, we will convene for lessons. I'll be covering basic topics like the history of the Jedi and our values. I'll speak a little on other Force-based organizations like the Sith but for now, our focus will just be on what it means to be a Jedi."

"I have this conference room booked for the day, so if you'd like, we can get into lessons right now."

She was looking at her master and her basic was better but not perfect as she moved ready to work on any of the things that they would be able to do with it. She had some of her attention there though while she was make sure she understood the plan and what was going to be happening with her master in the long run. She said it to herself in her head and bowed her head. "THen I am ready to begin the lessons master." With a small smile on her face before she was looking around and ready to begin. She had her small amount of equipment with a look on her face.
