BIOGRAPHY:
Johnny's earliest memory is of pick pocketing, some old geezer in a fancy fur coat. In those days Johnny was being raised by his Clan. A Group of travellers, who well travelled, they were experts smugglers out of Epica officially, but they didn't seem to spend much time their except as a port to call home. Johnny knew how to beg, how to watch and how to steal since he could crawl.

The only problem was The Old Geezer was a patron of a rather flash establishment called Ladies of the Night. It was on the dodgier side of town, but was considered nieche by the upper class clientele, a place for a dance on the wrong side of the tracks, one that felt like real danger. In truth it was one of the more safe such establishments, and no one in the neighbourhood wanted to mess with The Family that owned it. So rich uppercrust would come down tell themselves they were living dangerously and go home all in relative safety and comfort.

Unless you were that old geezer in a fur coat. Johnny didn't care who the man was or that he was a clientele of the whore house, the only thing he cared about was getting enough scratch to find himself and his two brothers and the group of orphan kdis that had banded together for mutual protection and survival. Being five years old he had a lot to learn and got caught, the Old Geezer as he had become in Johnny's mind demanded that the establishment punish Johnny, which they did with a belt strap across the back. Then they gave him a job.

They decided a kid with fast legs and quick hands could be useful. Johnny started doing odd jobs for their crew, everything from shining shoes, to selling dodgy products, but where he really excelled was running. Johnny ran messages from one side of the city to the other, gambling, numbers, small passages, messages. He'd charge a penny per job and soon netted himself a nice little profit. Johnny continued like this for quite a few years and became known as Johnny the Hand though he preferred his other nickname The Emissary, a name that stuck.

Johnny also saw more of the world then most down on their luck orphans. He saw how the other half the one percent really lived, and he wanted it. He wanted it for himself, his brothers, for all the kids in the neighbourhood, for his family.

When Johnny was 10 or 12, (it was hard to tell they never really paid attention to the galactic calender, except as a date for shipments.) Johnny's mother came out of the woodworks and laid claim. John's dad had been something of a pirate which had appealed to a young woman from Hapan, she had disappeared for a few years while they had ran around together, before returning to Hapan nobility where she had come from, leaving Johnny with the other half of his family, who actually took care of him.

Only reason she had come back to lay claim on him, was because of some Hapan political drama or rather, in which she needed to prove she could continue the family line. Johnny went from street kid to noble in one shot.

He was still a bastard though and no one in Hapan society or school let him forget it. John managed to quiet some of the gossip at school by soundly beating anyone who challenged him, before running a pretty decent scam stealing test and quiz answers and selling them round the school yard. They were easy marks, rich kids who had more money then what they knew what to do with.
Essays were a little trickier though, Johnny had to do those himself change the argument each time so it wasn't too obvious that it was him everytime. It also meant John learnt a lot. He learnt, business, economics, trade deals, history, warfare even fencing. He was a star student even if the teachers themselves were somewhat afraid of him. The entire time he felt like he was living a lie, oh he loved the splendour but he missed his family, and he always felt like it wasn't quite real that it could all be snatched away as quickly as it had launched him. He was right.

When he was 17, some other Hapan family didn't like a bastard orphan going to school with their kids or some other political infighting John didn't know which and didn't care decided to try and kill him. First in a rigged speeder, then a direct assassination attempt. They bit off more then they could chew with the last one. Regardless the incident almost caused a Hapan civil war. John thought it best he get out of there quick.

John went on the run back to his old Clan, families family after all. They put a bounty on his head.. John decided to lay low on Epica. Connected enough that he could keep in touch. Off the beaten track that it wasn't an obvious target. All the Hapes thought he was Corellian after all. Being back home on Epica John saw the wealth and oppulance that had almost been his, he decided that it should be and one day would be. He also saw The Family out of the peripheral, John vaguely knew some of his Hapan side was involved with them so kept his distance, but also saw opportunity.

John was on the run for years. There were a few incidents as a result, bounty hunters mostly, Hapan noble guard one time. John was sick of running and looking over his shoulder. John knew enough of history to know the best way to disappear was in a war zone. So when he was 21 he signed up with the first military that would take him, some of his family insisted on going with him. They watched each others backs, but didn't know what they would be signing up for. five years service changed all of them. John managed to fake his death and made sure word of it got back to Hapan space.

Life at war taught him what he wanted out of life. Everything. Everything he could scratch, fight steal, scam his way to the top, to his old Title and for his family. In the year since, Johnny's managed to take control of his Clan, has a small discreet but profitable operation running out of his ship. Biding his time, hoarding his profit till one day he can claim his title, his birthright. Truthfully though he's come as far as he can with it, atleast without some support and resources.

John has decided the best thing for his family, both of them was The Family.
