Journey to Ilum

[member="Quinncolson"]

Quinn had pointed to the side of the chasm that seemed to descend farther into the earth as it stretched onward. Ben's intuition would have been to take the path that seemed to slope upward, but he was in no place to argue. His mind was clouded at present, and his only concern was getting the two to safety.Quinn's mention of freezing to death unnerved him--he had not until that moment put two and two together: Quinn's most traumatic memory to date was being frozen in carbonite after her master's death. He needed to get out of the open air. Maybe the path that led into the catacombs was best after all. Quinn was very strong in the Force, and Ben trusted her.

Besides, hopefully the other Jedi on Ilum were headed into the same network of tunnels.

Ben started down the path, almost carrying Quinn's whole weight as she slipped in and out of consciousness. It seemed that the caverns on Ilum, like many caverns with Force-attuned Kyber Crystals, were capable of producing visions. Whether Ben's experience had been a premonition of the past, present, future, or simply a meaningless dream, he could not tell. It was possible that Quinn, too, was having some sort of Force Vision, but Ben could not tell. He was afraid to reach into the Force after what he had seen. To complete his trial on Ilum, however, Ben would surely have to let go of his fear.

The pair moved along slowly, Ben pulling strength from the Force, until they eventually reached the mouth of a cave. Inside it was warm, and Ben gently propped Quinn against a cave wall.

"Hello? Anyone in here?" Ben shouted.

There was no response.

It was quiet and dark. Ben took a deep breath and attempted to reach out into the Force. Hopefully, these were the same Crystal Caverns where their fellow padawans would be. If Ben could find the group, he could save Quinn and himself from trouble. Quinn needed a moment to rest, anyway. If Ben felt anything, the two would begin moving again.

Quinn realized what she needed to do. "Ben look at me you need to trust me." She had started to shiver even more than before but she had to be strong even as her memories became even more real to her and tears began to flow from her eyes and the memories overwhelmed her and she dropped to the ground balling her eyes out.

As the heterogeneous Jedi gathered before Master Roberts, Ayden noticed members missing and faces fresh and new. It appeared Quinn Colson and Ben Corscifine had all but disappeared. Lips thinned and tightened as any number of possible scenarios ran through his mind. It was certainly a bad sign; they had not even entered the caves yet and already there were casualties of a sort. Other new faces like Ronin Wendigo's sprang out at him. Where had he come from? The pit of his stomach was defiant - an open rebellion against what his mind and senses were telling him. Chaos.

Yet strangely enough those feelings vanished as the troop made their descent into the hidden temple. The visual aspect was astounding. Marble statues and wrought-iron pillars framed the antechamber. From up above came a strange light, basking the spherical room in a dim but glorious sheen. The statues and architectural structure appeared untouched by natural forces. Time was but an itch on the nose. And the Force was strong here, Ayden could discern almost instantly. It was impossible to ignore as he ambulated deeper; his senses teemed with life. It was like breathing fresh air through clean nostrils after an illness obliterated the once peaceful sinus region. In those few moments the cold no longer mattered. Here, the Force was an inner bastion of hope, leaving the young Jedi feeling like one of the many sparks of a empyrean flame.

Fears were temporarily forgotten.

This was it, Ayden told himself, the moment of truth. The Force was his strength. All he must do is trudge forward; though whether he would be traveling into the past, present, or future remained to be seen. The Diathim, Lahi Te'ala--a literal angel in the snow--rapidly burst out in flight and quickly disappeared into one of the many dark, dank tunnels. The rest were starting to spread out. As Ayden's senses adjusted to the immense nexus of Force here it all came back. He stepped forward, hands shaking. In that moment it occurred to him just how small he felt; like he was a child out of reach of his mother's arms for the first time. Trembling hands reached for his blaster pistol. Once, twice, three times. A modicum of comfort, for what it was worth.

Then the mouth of one of the subterranean tunnels was out in front of him; the Force was pulling him onward step-by-step. Was anyone following? He couldn't tell. And slowly, more light from the antechamber was disappearing. Black boots scuffed idly against the dense mineral floor. Soon, there would be only pitch black darkness. In that moment Ayden wished he was not just a lonely, indecisive boy. He wished he was the vibrant sun of Aleen Minor, glowing with eternal grace.

Amara gaped as they entered the Temple, her eyes going wide as she shoved her goggles up atop her head, knocking her hood and hat off in the process. She barely stopped to pick up the hat and her eyes didn't leave the sculptures and crystals illuminating the main chamber as she stuffed it in her satchel. The instructions were clear enough; enter the catacombs, find a crystal, and come back in an hour.

The Diathim whizzed by Amara before she could even process what was about to happen, but Amara shrugged off the other Padawan's excitement and, for the first time this trip, hesitated. Two paths called out to her, and she wavered between them for a moment. She cleared her mind, letting the Force flow through her, and it was then that she decided upon the left most passage. She took off down the path, but only a few feet down the darkness seemed to swallow her whole and she stopped to catch her breath.

"Kriff it's dark down here," she whispered, reaching out to feel along the wall. She dug into her satchel and found a small flashlight, and upon clicking it on found that she was in a tunnel of dark stone whose ceiling was only a few inches above her head. All she wanted was to find the crystal and get out, so she let the tug of the Force pull her further into the catacombs. Her footsteps echoed off the stone and Amara steadied her breathing. Eventually she came to a fork in the tunnel, one path going to her left and one to her right, and she frowned. It was unclear where she should go, but then a scream echoed through the tunnels. "Lahi!" Amara screamed, and she immediately started sprinting down the path to the right, grabbing a large rock as she went just in case whatever was making Lahi scream was big. She only hoped she'd find the Diathim before it was too late.

[member="Dune Rhur"] shouted and the Force echoed his reply. Karen turned her head towards the doorways and nodded. Scooping up her gray helm and fastening it down. Pushing her white shawl over her shoulder and marching towards the arch, the Knight disappeared into the dark. Shadows swallowing her whole.

Ilum was often seen as a trial and test for Jedi Padawans. The planet herself was known to be tricksy and to lay clever challenges for newcomers especially. So while it was no surprise that something had gone terribly wrong? Karen disagreed that anybody ever had to actually get hurt. Even if it seemed that every time she came here, somebody eventually did. Mm. Maybe next time she'd distribute Rocket Launchers to the whole group in preparation? Mmm. Nah.

...

Roberts reappeared deeper in the caves. Long tall tunnels filled with green and purple glows. Icy sheets of glittering crystal. Indeed, this whole cavern felt very much alive. Like the blood vessels of a very large and complicated life form. The Crystal Caverns were as mysterious as they were wonderful. Gorgon creatures and all.

"[member="Lahi Te'ala"] if you can hear me. I need you to show me your location in the Force. I need you to calm yourself and reach out to me. I can't sense you this deep into the planet. You must overcome your fears, and your foes, and reach out to me in the Force. Only then can I appear at your location."

She spoke aloud and into the Force. The Apprentice would hear the words easily and within her own mind. Then the challenge was hers to conquer.

___

Elsewhere, Ben and Quinn continued their quest for survival.

As [member="Dune Rhur"] and [member="Amara No'orabi"] ran towards the source of the screaming ahead, Lahi was continuing to fly for the young angel's life. A sudden bit of mischevious intelligence made her fly far too closer to a crystal shard-piece, the point of it ripping open her jacket as she turned in an instant. The charging Gorgodon rammed right into the crystal as it followed her, a loud shattering as the tough hide of the creature rammed the crystal, and impaled itself on it.

Or at least so Lahi hoped, as she turned around to look, only to see the strong-boned creature rising, only a few scratches done to its face. This time it wasn't Lahi who yelled, the creature gave a loud roar, and practically pounced on the poor girl - only to have her fly up into the ceiling of the cave just in time to get herself trapped up there, a voice echoing in her mind, as the three and a half meter tall monsters flailed at trying to get her - luckily just barely missing her as it jumped to try to get to where she hid.

The Diathim could smell its breath as it jumped at her continually, grunting the whole time. Breathing in, she took a deep breath, and then breathed out, and then in again - but as she breathed in, she could feel the claws of the gorgodon rip the - luckily already ripped- jacket off her, almost pulling her down with it. Her breathing became unsteady as she was taken down to only the undershirt, and the monster continued jumping, and she seemed even less calm than before, as she hid in her little nook of the cave ceiling.

The Bith's sensitive ears heard the beastial roaring of the gorgodon hundreds of metres before catching sight of the huge creature. His research into Illum had warned him of the non-sentient reptilian lifeforms. Eaters of anything, especially meat, they hunted by sound and smell to compensate for poor eyesight. It also happened to be invulnerable to most blasters and blunt force injuries.

He saw the image of Lahi flying up as high as she could, narrowly avoiding the claws of the menacing beast. It's grunts, growls and roars hurt his vulnerable hearing but he didn't have time to worry. "Lahi, I'm here and others are coming!" The apprentice shouted.

His plan was two-fold, one let her know she wasn't alone. Two, attract the gorgodon to him. It's sensitive hearing immediately caused the drooling creature to forget the flying meal in favour of the easier standing one. Dune's olfactory senses picked up the rank odour of it's breath as it snarled at him and came forward.

He felt oddly calm as sure death closed the distance, unlike his earlier fears. He knew what he had to do and that was it. The Bith drew in the Force and felt it envelop him so completely as he'd never experienced. He even smiled as he raised his hands.

A lightsaber probably wouldn't have helped even if he had one. Instead, he reached out with something far more powerful. The power of calm suggestion. The non-sentient mind was simple, desiring only sustenance.

Dune began to send him the feeling of calm and the gorgodon slowed it's pace, stopping perhaps ten metres away. The creature tried to resist, it was stubborn in it's primal need for meat. But it was nothing compared to the will of the Force.

Dune was locked into the mind of the furry reptile now. Not hungry, tired. Sleep now. So tired....

ooc: dear god I can't sleep or relax

Dajara felt more thing happening as she stood there in the cave. The glow from her skin illuminating it instead of a glow rod as she was searching for her crystals and staying calm. There was some tension and the force was humming in her ears while she reaching out touching a section of the ice. Her hands wiping away from of the frost as she was able to apply some pressure to crack the top layer and get to the crystal with bruises on her hand. She felt her finger snap while she yelped and pulled her hand back clutching it to her chest with the crystal in her palm cutting into the flesh but she had while shaking a little and grinding her teeth to keep from screaming out.

They had found their sacred stone and had make their way back to Knight Roberts. When what was left of the group reassembled, the blue-haired Jedi Master led them into the cavernous hall of the Hidden Temple. The central antechamber, a large circular room with an terribly high ceiling. There are a multitude of statues that surrounded the chamber, accompanied by braziers carrying torches which their leader soon made lit.

With the room fully lit up, it appeared far less menacing, and far less cold. She was no idea how much of that was psychological though, as she could not see how those little fires could warm them up much in these huge cavernous chamber. The group of padawans task was to navigate the series of tunnels and hallways leading deeper into the hidden temple, towards the area that would lead them to crystal caves. It would be a place rich in the force, and she had no doubt that she would be able to find it, albeit with a little help. They had one hour.

Quinn turned around and Ayden was gone. Where did the man go? Searching around for the familiar shape of his figure, she finally found what she had been looking for, up there ahead. He started moving on ahead, seemingly as though he was in some sort of trance. He made his steps forward, and she followed quickly behind. No sense in splitting now, they might as well do the whole thing together. She called out to him. "Ayden! Wait up! Let's find the crystals together!"

Quinn was having some sort of vision-induced panic attack. She was on the ground, tears streaming down her face. Ben had to work quickly and with a great deal of focus, or else she may exacerbate her broken leg. Seeing any of his peers like this would be jostling, but Ben had grown fond of Quinn, and everything they had been through on this trip so far only served to strengthen his sense of duty to protect her.

Keep your head, Ben. If you're not calm, she won't be, either.

Ben took deep, slow breaths, trying to quiet his mind. He could feel Quinn's suffering, and it was hard not to panic. He tried to be the eye of the storm that was raging in the Force within this cavern, attempting to determine a course of action from a place of calm. She had told him to look at her, to trust her. Ben could do that. He dropped to his knees and held Quinn's face gently in his hands. He was inches from the bleeding amethysts of Quinn's eyes. Immediately he was filled with the sensation of her suffering. They were in this together now, they both knew it.

"You're alright, Quinn. You're here with me in the Crystal Cavern on Ilum. You're safe. I'm not going to let anything happen to you. Control your feelings, we're going to get out of this."

Often, Ben ran into trouble for saying things he did not believe. He was skilled at telling people what they wanted to hear. So skilled, in fact, that he often couldn't tell the difference between what he truly meant and what was lip service. He was a liar, often, even to himself. At least he was aware of this. In this case, at least, Ben was sure of what he said. Ilum was strong in the Force, and the Force was on their side. Ben was letting go, and he was going to get the pair of them out of this.

Quinn could hear Ben but what really brought her back was the cold and the pain of her leg. She tries to stop crying but she can't she looks at Ben and see that he's shivering too. She knew she needed to move quickly and get them to safety. "Ben there's a outcove not to far from here we need to get there.

Ayden crept through the darkness. The faint dripping of water could be heard in the distance. His ears perked; with concentration and a little help from the Force, the young padawan tried to discern its source. Instead, he heard echoes. As the sound reached him it became a familiar voice, effeminate and strong. He turned to find [member=Quinn Byrne] sprinting toward him, her once glowing features now soft and dim under the gloom of the tunnel.

"Sorry, wasn't sure if you were comin' or not." He paused to listen again. "I think I can hear water. Can you?"

He gave Quinn a moment of silence. Then he thumbed the ignition switch on his lightsaber. Blue plasma spilled out and covered the tunnel, providing the pair with a comforting blast of light and heat. "That's better," he said confidently. Ayden had a flashlight, but he recalled a master once telling him that the lightsaber was the only tool a Jedi needed. He was very much a hands-on kind of guy, and it was a maxim worth putting to the test.

"So you're based with the Galactic Alliance on Sullust? Is that where you're from?" he said as they trudged forward. His voice was soft, an attempt at temporary comfort in case Quinn was as apprehensive as he was. If she was from Sullust, she seemingly defied convention. Most harsh environments bred harsh people, and Quinn didn't appear too rough or crude.

The pair marched down the bowels of the catacombs until the tunnel suddenly opened into a small rectangular enclosure. Blue-gray eyes quickly scanned the area. There seemed to be no other tunnels leading out - no exits. "Careful," he whispered. A small babbling brook flowed before them. Mineral structures and stalagmites littered the landscape to either side, and the ceiling was covered with them. With the lightsaber in hand he crept closer and waved the light over the skinny river. One of the last things Ayden remembered in that moment was how pure and delicate the water looked.

Then an ear-shattering crack rippled across the enclosure and the floor started to cave in. The blue glow of the lightsaber disappeared. Darkness again. Pain - his shoulder was on fire. Rocks crumbled, and stalagmites fell with ferocious accuracy. He thought he heard a scream, but the ensuing chaos muddled the mind. Was it his, or Quinn's?

Amara had heard [member="Dune Rhur"] yelling to [member="Lahi Te'ala"] and urged herself to run faster. The warmth of the cave was starting to become more burden than blessing as she ran, her under most layers beginning to stick to her skin with sweat as she raced through the tunnels. The light from her flashlight was jerking with every step, the unsteady beam of light her only guide other than her hearing as she went. Unfortunately that severely limited her peripheral vision, and she stepped far too close to the edge of another path, a path downward. Her ankle rolled and she was sent sprawling down the hill, gravel biting into her chin and nose as she went, and she slammed into the cavern wall at the end of the hill none to gently.

"Ugh, kriffing hell," she groaned, rolling onto her back. She felt blood trickle sluggishly down her neck and seep into her heavy scarf and hoped that it could be washed out. She hated wasting things. Her flashlight was several feet away, the light winking off of a chunk of what looked like ice. "Crystals?" Amara breathed, heaving herself to her knees. The world spun around her slightly, head throbbing, and she huffed in annoyance. A mild concussion from the feel of it. She hobbled over to the flashlight and scooped it up before turning to the source of flashing light. "Wizard," Amara grinned, reaching out with the Force to decide upon a crystal from the cluster. There was one toward the back of the cluster, a narrow yet sturdy thing, and it came away from its base quite easily with a little bit of urging from Amara and the Force. She took her hat out of her bag, wrapped the crystal in it carefully to avoid breaking it, and then tucked it away again.

"Now to find Lahi and Dune. I hope they're alright," she murmured, starting back up the way she had fallen down. Her head swam and she swayed a bit, but she felt the Force urging her forward and she surrendered her pain and confusion to it so that she could help her friends. By the time she reached the others, Dune was facing off with the gorgodon and Amara felt her breath leave her.

"That can't be good," she groaned, even as the gorgodon seemed to slow and stagger. Dune looked incredibly focused and Amara had no desire to break whatever trance he had apparently put over the beast, so she slipped slowly through the tunnel around it, picking up another large rock as she went just in case it didn't work. She whistled softly to get Lahi's attention, hoping the Diathim would extract herself from the ceiling and start heading out of the way of danger.

As she caught up to him, Quinn gave him a warm smile. It was good to be back again, even if she had only met him about an hour or so ago. She'd rather not be alone. Not here. Ayden then called for silence as he asked if she could hear the sound of water. She perked her ears out and listened for any such signs. Then she heard it. It sounded like water, but it was not that of a raging current nor flowing water, it was a steady drip of water, like those one would hear from a leak on a pipe.

"I hear something. Something dripping in steady rhythm. It may be water. Or something else." It was then that the buzzing ignition of a lightsaber springing to life caught her by surprise. "Woah, you have a lightsaber?! An actual lightsaber! That's really cool." Quinn possessed nothing as cool as that, and took her staff from her back, giving it a quick twirl.

The blue blade from the lightsaber illuminated their way ahead, its monotonous humming their only company as they down into the bowels of the catacombs. "That's what I'm from now. I'm still a greenhorn in the Alliance though, a rookie. I've only just recently joined. I'm originally from Tatooine. We don't have cold like this there. Or any kind of cold, really." It was then that Quinn heard the sound. The sound of running water, a type different from the one she heard earlier.

As they went forward, the source of the sound turned out to be a small brook not too far in front of them. She could see crystals and stalagmites hanging down from the roof of the catacombs. But these crystals was the the one they were looking for. And ear-shattering crack then made her jump, before she realised what was happening, thanks to her gift of precognition. She pulled Ayden into safety pas ta shower of rocks, as they tumbling down, choking out any noise and sending a cloud of dust into the air. The pair was safe, but only barely.

It was clear that Quinn was not doing well. Moments ago, the pair had been freezing to death, but Quinn had led them in the right direction. Now, they were inside the cavern, where it was considerably warmer, but she was still violently shaking. Ben reasoned quickly that her body may be going into shock with the pain of her broken leg. Ben, who had no medical experience, could only provide calm by example. He controlled his breathing and spoke softly as he once again lifted Quinn and began to move in the direction she had prescribed. She seemed somewhat delirious to Ben, insisting that they move farther into the darkness of the Crystal Cavern, but he could only hope that the Force was working through her.

Ben worked diligently to moderate Quinn's panic and fear, whispering, "Hey, now, you gotta stay with me here. Control your feelings. The Force is with us," and other such small comforts. For a few moments, Ben himself believed that the two would be alright, but he had sinking feelings in his stomach. Not to mention the fact that carrying Quinn, who would not be an entirely unmanageable weight for Ben--who constantly utilized weight and gravity training for physical condition, and was able to call upon the Force for physical strength far more easily than for mental clarity--under normal circumstances, was taking a massive toll on the young Jedi with the injured shoulder. Ben tried to control his breathing, for her sake and his.

The darkness was closing in as the pair moved deeper into the cave. Ben couldn't see very well, but he wouldn't be able to reach his training lightsaber without putting Quinn down again. Every time he moved Quinn, Ben ran the risk of further injuring her, and it was taking all the strength he had to carry the young woman--he could no longer try to hold her leg steady with the Force. Before long, Ben caught a glimpse of a small indentation in the side of the cavern wall. Could this be the alcove Quinn had mentioned? There was no way for Ben to know, really. In fact, he didn't have any reason to believe Quinn was guiding them anywhere. For all he knew, she wasn't even lucid. And yet, Ben had trusted her to keep the pair moving in the right direction.

You're responsible for the both of you now, Ben quickly decided for himself.

"Quinn? Is this the place?"

Before Quinn could answer, Ben caught a wisp of energy from further up in the cave. He knew immediately that the other padawans were here...and maybe they were in danger. The tremors in the Force were violent, panicked. Maybe they would be able to pick up on the two injured padawans, if they played their cards right here. Ben reached out with the small amount of strength he had left, and then, exhausted, lost the whole thing. He could feel nothing but his hot breath in his throat and the pounding of his heart in his chest. His lungs were on fire.

Well, at least he was warm.

It had only been seconds--a minute tops--but that was all it took. Destruction and chaos at the blink of an eye. One moment he was glaring in awe at the crystal clear brook, listening to the soft and gentle voice of his fellow padawan. The next, his world was quite literally falling apart.

He felt hands dig into the flesh of his arm and pull him miraculously away. Just barely escaping a shower of rocks, he realized, that most certainly could have killed him. Still, moving targets weren't impossible to hit. A sharp agonizing pain went bone-deep from his shoulder to his wrist in that instant. Then Ayden felt the warm embrace of Quinn as they tried to avoid separation. He tried to keep his rough, calloused hands wrapped around her but his fingers were slipping. It was only a tick and a half later that the mineral floor below him completely gave away, taking everything with it. The young Human tumbled down into the dark abyss. Quinn was lost from his reach.

...

When the dust settled, Ayden found himself lying in a shallow pool of water - alone. All he could feel was pain; aches in his arm, his head, his mind. He slowly gathered himself and began slithering his way across the floor. It would do no good to just sit here, he knew, he had to move quickly. He tried to locate his lightsaber, but there was only darkness. He reached for his hip only to find that whatever tools his belt once held were all but gone. Damn... "Quinn," he softly whispered. He kept his voice low in the hope that no dormant beast was awakened by their raucous little accident. "Quinn... you there? Are you okay?... Quinn?"

The gorgodon suddenly stopped jumping, and the terrified Angel opened her eyes, as the words of the Bith echoed in her ears. The beast turned to the noise as well, however, and she could feel a terror welling up inside of her. Not for herself, but for her friend - she had seen what this creature could do... But it didn't pounce, it didn't charge the Bith, it stared, eyes locked with [member="Dune Rhur"], an unseen battle of the mind taking place. She'd known the basics of this kind of thing - she'd read up on the type of animal control skills a trained Knight could do.

Dune wasn't a Knight, she was still scared for him - but she could see [member="Amara No'orabi"], waving her down, and she pulled herself out of the nook she had hidden in, quietly, silently floating down, past the gorgodon, to Amara. Her voice was low as she whispered to the girl, "Master Roberts is looking for us... she.. we need to focus, and find her. I-I can't fight this, and Dune... don't want him getting hurt for me..." She was shivering, not from the cold, but from the fear of her new friend getting hurt due to her stupidity. Still, she took a few deep breaths - if Dune could face down the Gorgodon, she could at least focus while it was distracted.

The Force was all around her, it was next to her, in front of her, it filled the cave, and everyone in it. "Help, Master." Projecting her thoughts was nothing new to the girl - it was a talent she had, but over distances, to specific people, trying to project where they were to [member="Karen Roberts"] was much, much more difficult.

Alone, not surrounded by a nexus of Light Side power, the Bith knew he'd have been dead. As it was, the huge, furry beast was beginning to teeter on the brink of sleep. It grumbled in protest instead of roaring and staggered into a rocky wall. 'Yes, sleep. Must sleep,'he droned on without words in the bestial mind.

Then it slumped against the wall and fell to it's knees as if drunk. Finally, after what seemed hours, it collapsed face first into a puddle of yellowish saliva. Dune let out a long, slow breath from both relief and exhaustion. He noticed [member="Amara No'orabi"] there for the first time with a start.

She was ready to brain the gorgodon if need be, it looked like. Holding a long digit over his lips he motioned for both of the others to follow him out of the tunnel....

It has been if anything a trying day for Ronin who from the get go had been at his wits end. Try figure his way around seem all but lost. Ever since he decided to sort not follow heed his Master Coci word to him. A word of caution and advice before she set off for a mission no less that few season ago. Which was to be mindful of the living force and at all times .....try not break any of the rules by following what the other Master told him do while she was away. Which on all account he no less had fail do being as willful and somewhat stubborn as he was.

For some reason that he himself could not fathom it slowly became harder and harder for him to keep up with Amara. Seem as if some unforeseen hand had been pull him back despite the fact he was moving forward in fast pace he'd wanted. Reaching up to the cavernous hall doors where ahead he couldn't help marvel. At the massive figures surrounding the circle hall lined with massive amounts or size of crystal. Take a step forward just enough for one the knight or Master he recon [member="Ayden"] Quel had took notice of him briefly. Though seem under strange veil that hinder his sight of them came across his eyes. Make it harder for him see ahead no more than a foot over. Then just like that a voice soft and sweet began to echo in the distance. Sing a song that he had not heard in many moons ago as such it draw him in to follow. Unaware nor was he able catch wind of the words yet its tune sounded vaguely familiar that it drew him away. Far from the others towards the left that as he progress deeper became even more steeper ...ill lit at some parts that he had squint and try make end of what was ahead.

"Yes this is it." Quinn said as she was sure that she was about to freeze to death with Ben she felt the force herself but had no Idea what was gonna happen next but she kept fading in and out of consciousness
