In all honestly it really depended on what you were trying to accomplish, but in general it was entirely plausible to weaponize alchemy on a combat-level scale, it was simply not all that useful in that capacity for most of the situations you found yourself in. Why use alchemy, when you could simply break your problem with telekinesis, flame ball throwing or a plethora of other offensive capabilities.

But that did not take in account the one rare situation where you found yourself combating an enemy that was created through a blend of Sith Alchemy and Mechu-Deru Vitae.

Darth Carach was not interested in destroying the Sith Knight, that would have been a waste of effort, time and more importantly… a blown-up Sith Knight would be far more difficult to study for recreative purposes.

It was for this reason that Carach reached out with his mind.

And froze the hinges of the Knight.

Suddenly the alchemical-creation would find itself unable to move properly, its knees, elbows and other joints frozen in their last stance. In turn the Sith Knight fell over to the side, the pike still clutched in frozen hands.

“Well, that was that.” Darth Carach would mumble, before taking another wide look around the room. Then he started to take any valuables and make them disappear into his robe.

“Get the Keystone, Ardik.”

"Pardon you- try to save some of those for me." Darth Adekos grumbled, gingerly stepping over the immobilized Sith Knight and the deceased one.

Adekos would have been lying if he said he wasn't envious of that little "freeze its joints" trick. Unfortunately, Adekos had no talent for the sorts of alchemy (beyond its applications to Mechu Deru, naturally) or Sith Magic. Such intricacies were beyond him. Besides, he could hardly devote time both to honing his Technopathy and unraveling the mysteries of the Arcane. That was just the fast track to being mediocre at everything rather than highly skilled in one thing over the other. The Umbaran practically skipped over to the room's center.

He studied the apex there for a moment, admiring the fine design. Then, with the utmost caution, plucked it from its anti-gravity suspension. There was another rumbling sound through the fortress as a final trap triggered. A second pile of Rakghoul bones was deposited into the chamber they had just exited. Mekhis, for one reason or another, really liked her Rakghouls. Or perhaps thought they were a fitting fate for whoever attempted to steal from her.

"Oh, you know what?" Said Adekos, turning to face Carach as his fellow Sithling continued to rummage through the room. "You should go find some more of those looters. Mind-trick them into putting these cyborgs onto a cart for us and taking them out to the ship. No sense leaving them here."

All in all, this was turning to be a very productive outing. They should do this more often.

“Good idea.” the Sith Lord finally replied, there literally wasn’t a reason for any of them to break their backs at the weight if they could make those chumps work for them, no? So Carach left the room in search for a few of those idiots that were roaming around the place with their miniguns and explosives, didn’t take too long to find the few left still though.

Mindtricking them and subjugating them to his will was a pretty easy task, took him a few seconds and then they were all off towards the chamber of secrets again. They left their miniguns behind, obviously, because that would have been just weird.

They strutted back into the chamber and Carach pointed to the two Sith Knights, one destroyed and the other one immobilized.

It was really a good day for the two Sith Lords, not only had they managed to find the keystone, but they also encountered an ancient alchemical creation that would speed up his experimentations in the alchemical game.

“You ready to go, Adekos?”

"Oh, wonderful. You brought the help."

By the time Carach returned, he would note that the room's contents were already sorted neatly into a few crates and containers. Adekos had gone to fetch some unused ones from the other room. Also, there was now a third Sith Knight corpse, destroyed in a similar way as the one that had been deceased when Carach left. Adekos' meticulous sorting had sprung another trap. It was all very gruesome. On the plus side, they had an extra Sith Knight to study and everything found within the room was now sorted and categorized. It would all look smashing in the Lucrehulk's libary.

With little fanfare, Adekos helped load up the cart that the enthralled mercenaries had brought along with them. He did not, however, help them load up the Sith Knights. Adekos didn't want to touch those things, especially not the live one. They probably weren't very hygienic, not after the some thousands of years.

"Well then, I believe that accounts for everything of note." Adekos said. "We should leave before the Silver Jedi catch on to us. Goodness knows they won't appreciate a ruin picked dry under their incompetent noses."
