Just An Average Every Day Sort Of Occassion

Zeke Tune

Your Secret Dark Obsession
Zeke kept them occupied, looking away from his companion. When the bolt flew out, it flew out true, and struck the pirate lord in the head. Immediately the smell of ozone, and burning hair and flesh filled the air, as the pirate had a smoking hole in his head. The guards move to their leader looking in shock, then turn around to where the danger came from, readying their weapons. The artist didn't give them the chance to target his assassin.

Moving towards the two closest, he draws his vibro-blade and hold out blaster. The vibro-blade moved skillfully into the back of the neck of one, severing the human's spinal cord, causing him to fall limp to the ground. The holdout blaster wasn't powerful at range. It was pressed right to the back of the head of a rodian and he fired, causing his head to boil and a bolt of energy to go through the rodian. Dropping the hold out blaster, Zeke smoothly grabs the blaster from the rodian's hands, and wraps his other arm around the rodian's corpse, and uses it as a human shield, driving the vibroknife into the corpse's side, to keep better hold.

He forces the body towards the next, forcing the twi'lek woman to stumble into a large wookiee, making him growl loudly. Besides those two, the only survivor was a human-cyborg with one red eye and a metal arms and legs. They were now trapped between two dangerous enemies. He couldn't win this fight alone, Zeke knew this, but, he used every bit of ability he had to keep them trapped between himself and her. “RAWWWWWW!”

LIs'Ra watched Zeke with rapt interest, he was quite good with a knife. She watched through the scope now as he danced through the bodies of pirate's henchman, her finger on the trigger. She aimed for the twi'lek and once the woman had gotten away from the wookie she pulled the trigger and the woman collapsed immediately to the ground. She could feel the adrenaline rushing through her blood as she let out a small smile and moved to her next target, the cyborg. She honestly didn't know where to aim for this one, cyborgs were tricky, she had to find the motherboard and the one other time she killed a cyborg her contact had given her the schematics of the machine. So she just used the same location as the last time and aimed for the right shoulder.

Taking a deep breath, trying to calm herself she glanced at Zeke one more time before pulling the trigger, hoping it would be in the same spot or this would get really tricky.

As the wookiee approached him, he let him have it with the blaster he picked up from the Rodian. Hitting the furry creature's leg, arm, and even part of his chest, he couldn't seem to land a killing blow. The smell of burning flesh and fur along with the deafening roar of an angry wookiee made Zeke rethink his plan here. Soon he was charged by the wookiee in an act of hate, making Zeke remove the knife from the Rodian and push the corpse at the charging furrybag. As he did, he dove to the side, rolling out of it. He had to be careful as he did this, with the knife and blaster in his hand, but manages to accomplish it.

The Cyborg was hit by Lys'Ra's blaster in the shoulder, it does almost nothing. However, it does damage his arm. He raises the other arm up, and readies his repeater, it wurrs up to life, and right before it fires, the Rodian flies into him, after being smashed across the hanger by the wookiee, making him stumble, and his shots fire into the hanger wall.

Zeke leads the wookiee on a merry chase, getting a few weak pot shots off at the creature as it angrily just kept charging. He ducked as it threw bodies, weapons and other things at him. He puts the Cyborg directly behind him. When the wookiee threw a large piece of metal, Zeke quickly goes the other direction, and the metal slams into the cyborg, making him grunt in frustration, and almost fall over. Zeke almost seemed to be having fun with this.

Lis'Ra huffed in frustration at missing so she decided to focus on the giant carpet causing mayhem across the hangar, it was causing so much noise she was surprised that no security has stormed the hangar yet. She aimed for the wookie's head and gritted in annoyance at it's choppy roar. She rolled her eyes, at least one person is enjoying this. She peered through her scope and pulled the trigger, hitting the wookie dead in the head. She could see blood shoot out from where the blaster shot through. Grinning she let out a small little victory laugh before she settled in to the Rodian.

"Zeke, this is not what we bargained for." she whispered to herself as she focused her next target at the Rodian's head. She licked her dry lips as she took a deep breath and pulled the trigger. Zeke you owe me a drink.

Zeke watched as the wookiee fell down, into a furry heap on the ground. He owed her a drink, he knew it. Maybe a bonus. He hadn't expected the two heavies, of a wookiee and a cyborg. But with just the cyborg left, he was confident now. Rushing towards the cyborg, he doesn't event attempt to use his blaster, instead, focusing on raw art with his vibro-knife. As the being attempts to shoot at the girl once more, he brings it to a leg, to the joint of the leg, letting it slide into the mechanical joint, slicing through the sensitive motors that allowed it to keep moving.

The large cyborg began to lurch sideways, his blast once more missing Zeke's partner. As Lys'Ra fired at the corpse of the Rodian, it's head just exploded. He had been stabbed, shot, thrown around, bashed and now, his head was just gone. Once more, Zeke's blade flashes out, and drives into the back of the neck, it was tough, but he pushed it through the man's neck, severing the neural link that allowed him to move his body. The cyborg collapsed to the ground, and he drove the knife into his one good eye, for extra measure. “Phew....that was a close one.”

Brushing off his hands Zeke moved over to the corpse of the pirate lord. Reaching into his bandolere, Zeke pushed something in there, and backed off. “Ah, all done.” Eyes move up to the rafters and he waved. “Well done!” He cried out. “Shall we get out of here?”

Lis'Ra stared at the boy and let out a stressed laugh. She shook her head and packed up her gear before climbing down the rafters and poles and met him on the hangar bay floor. She noticed how clean he still looked, as if he hadn't just danced with death. She let her hair down from the bun and let the loose waves roll over her shoulders as she stared at all the bodies.

"Yeah, I could do with a drink. I think we can let security deal with this mess cause I sure as hell don't." she huffed out a little bit of laughter as she glanced back up at Zeke. Her green eyes flashed with amusement as she stared at the pirate lord and then over at the rest of his crew. Her eyes darkened at the ship.

"I wonder if there's anything of value in there." she stepped over the rodian and took a step towards the ship with avid curiosity. Maybe there was armor, or weapons, or credits. Her heart lurched at the last mention, she was desperately poor. She stared back at Zeke with a sense of hope at extra cash. Quickly though it was replaced with a mischievous grin. "Wanna check it out?"

Zeke watches her carefully a moment and shakes his head. “I wouldn't touch anything they have, or enter their ship. It's likely to be a death trap, the chance of making it out alive is very small. Explosives, booby traps and the like. Just not worth it for the small amount of credits they brought on an errand run. However.” He gives her a warm smile and gestures to the door. “If you choose to leave that door alone, and come out this one with me, I can promise to get you paid, and a lot more credits where those started. You proved yourself quite capable, and I admit, I get myself into more trouble than I would like.”

The man moves towards the hanger door, grabbing his hold out blaster and placing it in the wrist holster, then wipes the vibroknife off on the dead pirate lord, before putting it away too. Putting the blaster in his jacket pocket, he then moves to the door and presses the button, opening it. “Besides, with them dead, station security will be here soon and want to try and flex its muscles if we are still here. I don't want to spend the night in a jail, I don't think I would ever leave it.” The last part, he said ominously, like he knew something. “A drink, credits, looking at art work, and a job proposition, if you desire. But you are a grown woman, the choice is yours to look in the ship and bodies, or not.”

Lis'Ra pouted slightly and felt her rifle hit against her leg. He was right. Turning she sighed and gave him a small smile. "You had me at drink." she lead him out of the hangar bay and into the cramped roads of the city. Her eyes were down as she lead him back to the bar. As she walked though, she quickly disassembled her rifle and stuffed it into her bag. She glanced back at Zeke, her eyes dark as she turned back around and looked out at the path ahead.

As Zeke and Lys'ra went to the bar, Zeke slide into a bar table and ordered a simple tea, and told the bar tender to order the woman everything she wanted. “Tab is on me tonight.” Plopping on the well used cushion he chuckled. “You were good, very good. That went perfectly. I almost can't believe it.” Shaking his head, he smirks at her. “So, jobs. I'm packing up shop here, and heading to the planet Melida/Daan next.”

“I'm offering transport off this station, food, lodging, drinks, as well as weekly pay checks. Ten thousand a week. About as much as you would make as the bodyguard to the head of a mega corporation. Also, I still need to pay you for this job.” Reaching into his coat pocket, he places the credit chits infront of her. “Forty thousand. As discussed. Now as to why. Well.” When the drinks were delivered, he sipped it gently. “This station will probably be attacked soon. We killed a man with a fleet. So yeah. It's best to not stay here for long. You saved me, so its not fair to leave you here.” He admitted honestly. She had seen him fight, it was doubtful she would think of him as just an artist. True, he had been in a tough spot, it would have been difficult without her.
