She fluttered.
Rather, her heart fluttered.
There was so much happiness and whimsical hope filling the air that Cybelle felt like she might burst in the best way possible. Sponging off the emotions of others was something that she had generally accepted as an unpleasant experience. Usually, it involved trying to take their pain away. To draw it into herself like one might draw poison from a wound. This—Was different.
Cybelle didn't really know the bride or the groom, unless, two ships passing in the void of space counted but she was quietly stitching together information about them from the venue. Strangely, she knew the groom's father

from the Hapes Gala. He had kindly saved her from an overly...
Confident, would-be suitor. It was surprisingly
pleasant to be a plus one. Even more pleasing was the fact that Brandyn wasn't bound by responsibility and security detail this time. He could dance, chat, or even have a little juice without feeling as if he'd shirked some sort of duty.
"We should just be…Guests, more often."
Her words summed up, swiftly, how overwhelming their timetables could be. Flitting from place to place. Darting from one danger, one injustice, one ultimate evil and darkness to the next without taking time to recognize the inherent toll. They were at peace with themselves, as all Jedi should be, but by the Force she needed a nap. A long, long nap.
This was the next best thing.
Topaz eyes flickered back toward Brandyn's face, easily, as if drawn by a magnet. She had her left arm wrapped around his while her right hand toyed with some of the greenery that was winding around a pillar. Cybelle hadn't thought herself to be overly swayed by something so simple as décor but she found herself pressing a little light into the plants around her. Making petals bloom, vibrant, so they might shine a small grace for the newlyweds.
"It's perfect."
Small. But, her eyes kept stinging.
Internally she groaned and mentally gave herself orders to get a grip, but it was hard. It was a happy sting. Her face turned into Brandyn's shoulder before for a moment before she let her head tilt to rest her temple against him. She did her best not to think about the future. To remain in the present. Mindful, in the present. But—How could she not wonder?
So many Jedi took these vows. Vows that would have been in direct violation of the Code… But now? It seemed to bring unity. Peace.
Cybelle could hardly argue with that.
"Do you…Ever think about it?"
The future. Weddings. All the…
things that came with such attachment. Her ever-inquisitive mind was spinning itself a web of curiosities that Brandyn would no doubt sense while she took in the final preparations for the ceremony. Eventually, her heartbeat slowed and settled. Her eyes were softer still while she watched the other well-wishers. Almost, as if it were a secret, she answered the question he had never asked. Sheepish, guilty, embarrassed but innocently honest.
"Sometimes…"
"I do."
