Just Watch Me

Run.

Her body was faster, that was for sure, but her mind seemed to have sped up even beyond it. She knew she was moving with considerable speed, and yet it was still a bit like fighting through molasses and she felt like she ought to be going faster. What was slowing her down?

Even as she moved, her attention went inward again. Everything was moving quicker, at a steady pave in relation to each other so what was the issue? Was it simply a matter of muscles not being able to keep up? That wouldn't do. Attention shifted, and she sent the force into her muscles, urging them to preform better, to give more, to be more.

There.

Now the movement came easier, and even quicker than before. It occurred to her she likely looked ridiculous zooming about the room, but there was only Declan to see, and he could be counted upon. Nearing a wall, she leapt, so much higher than she could have before, bending knees to push off the wall, flipping in the air for the sheer joy and rush of it, landing. Glancing up she noticed that where her feet had impacted the very solid wall was indented.

Well that was interesting.

No, this made sense. Force users were known to be able to make themselves stronger. Why would leaping and running and being stronger be different? It was all the bloody same. Pushing your physical body past what it ought to be able to do. Very good then, set out to learn one and picked up three. Ha! This was easy.

When she wasn't giving herself heart attacks or brain aneurisms that is..
