I would have loved to have the Army of Malastare deploy around Theed but unfortunately the NPC now in provisional command is a non-Gungan that feels that there is no minefield around and I am ICly stuck on Chandrila after that tank shot incident... arrested and detained by the SIS.

Yeah, [member="Mythos"], sit down with [member="Marcello Matteo"] and hammer out a more plausible premise. A lot of work has been put into securing the Naboo system lately, and especially Theed. Starting with a fait accompli like this is cheap and unrealistic in a lot of ways. I'm all for skirmishing, but you're trying to start out with the assumption that you've beaten multiple layers of Naboo security to get this far with your hundred Gungan insurgents and your bomb and walking around town with heavy weapons, and that just doesn't fly at all. But hammer things out with Marcello; I'm on LOA at the moment.

Unless given consent by the King, the Alliance won't be deploying artillery in Theed. Small teams of tactical response units on the other hand should be able to easily dispatch this rabble without/ too much collateral.

@Elayne Thul - The 'urban setting' remark was Ajira being sarcastic. Theed Hangar and the RSF don't have artillery set up in the city. Defensive positions around the city? Sure, as needed. But like Astarii says, this falls squarely within the realm of posse comitatus - the Theed cops and RSF can handle things. Heck, the Theed cops took down a small Dark Jedi army a couple invasions ago. I'll be subbing them as a quality-A unit when I find a minute. They're more than good enough to handle this stuff.

That's all well and good, but they won't be deployed in the field unless given consent by the King. Naboo is a sovereign world within our Federation. It'd be poor form to hamfist our authority and jeopardize their membership. If you decide to ignore my words here and carry on with such a reckless exercise of force, there will be In Character consequences.
