Toned Build. Average height and slightly stocky build but he keeps in good fighting shape, good sized hands and feet. Pale skin and black hair, with pale cedar eyes, adapted to night hunting. Usually wearing red Mandalorian armor in honor of his dead father, who died when Dar'Manda attacked his ship.

Chapter 1.
Born into a traditional Mandalorian clan, Kas Varad was raised in the old ways—honor through conflict, loyalty to Mandalore, and the pursuit of strength. But where honor exists, so too do those that break their code. The Dar'Manda—those who had forsaken their oaths—sought to strike at their former kin. So in response, the Hunters of Dar'Manda were born, a ruthless group tasked with hunting down these traitors. Kas was the first.
Handpicked for his efficiency and ruthlessness, Kas thrived in the role. He led the clean-up after ambushes, ensuring no Dar'Manda lived to strike again. Like all Hunters, he walked the line between warrior and executioner, a tricky thing while maintaining his own honor, which he didn't always succeed in.
The Nyriaanan distrust treaties, shaped by a history of broken oaths and betrayals. Kas's own bloodline was no different. He struggled at first with the rigid nature of clan life but eventually embraced it, even if he rarely voiced his opposition outright. Yet, when it came to contracts, Kas hates them like many of his race. This made contracting for bounty hunting difficult, but his reputation ensured that as long as the job got done, employers paid him without question. Even if he went too far at times.
He found solace in clubs and cantinas, swapping stories over drinks, turning informants into drinking partners, but spending too much time in the bar is both a blessing and a curse for his jobs, concentration, or health. Naturally, bounty hunting followed from these social connections, and in time, he answered the call of Mandalore, tasked with hunting those who sought to kill their own.
But when the Crusaders fell and Mandalore was betrayed, the hunter became the hunted. Branded Dar'Manda himself, Kas was forced to kill many who came after him for his past profession. Clan Varad had been off fighting on the Rim when the betrayal struck—they never heard the full truth. Now, like his clan-sister Khia, he fights where he must, moving between Clan Varad's service to the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS) and the Silver Jedi Order, choosing his battles where he can.
Chapter 2
Now commanding his own ship within the CIS, Captain Varad has turned his focus to combating the growing SwarmSurge infestations plaguing Confederate space. He takes particular pride in personally exterminating hives, his boots often slick with their remains.
With a cigar clenched between his teeth and the smell of burning SwarmSurge in the air, Kas Varad does what he does best—clearing the galaxy of bugs from the heel of his boot.
